Shrimp & Crab alla Vodka- Lunch YUCK WAITED AN HOUR FOR THIS! What a waste of my time. The manager is extremely RUDE!

Came in at 11 am when they opened for lunch. We ordered right away. 11:45 NO SIGN OF FOOD! 12 noon NO SIGN OF FOOD! When you see other reviews saying they waited for a long time, believe it. What a waste of time! The waitress is not very happy to be working there either. Another sign that this place is SHIT! The Frank Sinatra CD is on loop, so after waiting forever, you hear the CD repeats! DO NOT COME HERE! Be warned! Update: asked the manager to follow on our food, she dismissed me. SHE WAS VERY RUDE! Her name must be KAREN. Meanwhile, about 5 take our orders passed us by! We left at 12:15 after taking a few bites of our long awaited dishes!

Cafe Bella is tucked away in the Oil Center and we don't think of it as often as we should. The restaurant is Italian but the menu offers a lot of variety beyond the typical items. The bar is well stocked and the bartenders are knowledgeable. On our most recent visit, my husband asked for a somewhat obscure cocktail, a New York Sour, and the bartender whipped it up perfectly. The interior of the restaurant is dark and clubby, with wall murals in the main dining room. It's a little cheesy but still probably one of the more romantic places in Lafayette. The food is solid. Our most recent selections were a fresh crab salad napoleon, arancini, goat cheese chicken, and Snapper alla Bella Figura. The portion size for the crab salad was huge and it was really a great value for the price. The arancini were well executed and studded with Italian sausage. The goat cheese chicken was fine, but not quite as good as I would have expected, and I love goat cheese. Maybe it would have been more flavorful if the chicken had been grilled. The Snapper alla Bella Figura had plenty of seafood - a snapper filet, claims, and shrimp - and was well prepared. We were surprised that the puttanesca sauce didn't contain olives, but it was tasty. We didn't save room for dessert. Our server could have been a bit more attentive on our last visit, but we were seated without a reservation at a table in the bar so we were out of sight from the rest of his tables. He was otherwise helpful. We will be back, hopefully, sooner rather than later! No

I had lunch here recently and I came away very impressed. The food was excellent. Neat ambience and great service. I had the grilled chicken panini and pasta salad. Also had a cup of tomato basil soup, which was quite delicious. The only downside to this eatery is the limited parking situation. Otherwise, I highly recommend.

VERY ROMANTIC & ideal place for a first date to impress, anniversary or birthday. Ambiance galore!!! Service is professional and good! Super clean! Food was good. A little less than my expectation but then again my expectations are high The jalapeño infused Bloody Mary was delicious & the beer was ICE cold! I definitely recommend!

First time trying this hidden gem in Lafayette. We arrived at 5 pm opening and was promptly seated, and got our drinks, the appetizer scampi all's brumley was good, we also ordered a Pear and Gorgonzola salad, and this was awesome the vinaigrette was delicious, for our entrees we had the cracklin crusted pork chop which had the best potatoes ever and the chop was great. But the star of the night was seafood and eggplant Sicilia, the crisp eggplant, the lump crab, the jalapeño cream sauce what a combination . Our server was very attentive and we loved the atmosphere. Definitely one of our favorites. Oh and the warm bread you receive once seated nice touch.

The food is great and the ambiance is quiet and very romantic but not so stuffy as a formal restaurant. The servers are all awesome and courteous.

Wanted to try a new Italian place, make sure to get reservations! We were finally able to get a table with early planning. The food was delicious and the service was awesome, we had the following: Duck Poppers - turkey bacon-wrapped duck breast stuffed with cream cheese & fresh jalapeno slices with a raspberry demi-glace Arancini Riso - flash-fried balls of risotto, Italian sausage, and Italian cheeses, served on a bed of marinara Sea Scallops - pan-seared sea scallops, topped with a Cointreau glaze, served with mushroom and spinach risotto Seafood & Eggplant Sicilia - shrimp, lump crab meat, and fried eggplant, topped with roasted red pepper and jalapeno cream sauce over fettuccine Everything we ordered was delicious, definitely recommend!

Really love this place! I love the ambiance with the low lighting. They also have really beautiful décor with murals on the walls. The waiter was very friendly. He even got us set up with our napkins in our laps before we started eating. I enjoyed the appetizers the most with the shrimp. I would love to partake in dinner here soon for a date night.

Great ambiance! Delicious food and reasonable prices. They would get five stars if they hadn't gotten rid of their cappuccinos!

We walked in, and a server said we could find an empty seat. We were greeted by our server and ordered drinks and appetizers. My drinks were a coke and an espresso martini. My espresso was made to perfection. Our appetizers were the BBQ BACON WRAPPED SHRIMP..... Bacon wrapped shrimp in a savory NOLA style butter BBQ sauce which was delicious. We also ordered the BRISKET FRIES. Smoked brisket, pepperjack, cheddar, Cajun BBQ, chipotle aioli, and green onion. I swear those cheese fries were the best cheese fries I've ever eaten in my entire natural born life. Wow wow wow. I sat in shock about how good they were. We ordered our entrees I ordered the GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST...... Chargrilled chicken breast,', with grilled veggie medley and roasted fingerling potatoes. It was so delicious. My friend ordered the REDFISH VERMILION. Grilled redfish topped with crawfish etoufee, served with chargrilled asparagus. I tasted some of her dish. It was yummy as well. Our server was nice and kind and treated us well as he maintained the bar. The atmosphere was laid back and it seemed everyone enjoyed being there. It was our first time and we definitely will be back.

The pork chop was cooked perfectly. It was juicy, incredibly tender, and honestly tender enough to cut with a fork. It had a great char from the grill that added so much flavor, and the pickled peppers on top cut through the richness of the pork perfectly. The dirty rice underneath reminded me of my mom's rice dressing and soaked up all the juices from the chop. It was one of the best pork chop dishes I've had. My wife ordered the smoke fried chicken, and it was also excellent. The crust was crispy while the chicken stayed juicy and flavorful. The sweet potato biscuits were light and delicious, and the pepper honey tied everything together nicely. For my taste, it leaned just a little on the sweet side, but it was still a very enjoyable dish. My daughter ordered the Social Cheeseburger with just meat and cheese. She loved it, and I was impressed too. Even with such a simple order, the burger was juicy, well seasoned, and served on a fantastic bun. She and my wife both could not stop talking about the hand cut fries. They were crispy, perfectly seasoned, and some of the best fries we've had in a while. From the food to the service, everything exceeded our expectations. We left very impressed and will definitely make a point to stop here whenever we are in the Lafayette area.

More specifically their flatbreads and loaded fries, which I do not currently see on their website. Most of the time they have loaded fries which in the past have consisted of gravies and sauces. One preparation we ordered came with pickled okra. The fried green tomatoes are also very good, especially to start with or share. As far as main dishes go we have tried the following: All Hail Caesar (Flatbread) Spicy Chicken Sandwich Smoke Fried Chicken-N-Biscuits Social Cheeseburger The Mac n Cheese is a must get as a side in my opinion. One of the first times we visited they had carrot cake as a dessert, we still talk about that carrot cake today. If you are a sweet tea lover this place has a twist which I love. Their sweet contains brown sugar and mint, get it, try it, it's delicious.

We tried several dishes, including the Castilian mushrooms, duck fat fries, Gambas al Ajillo, and hanger steak. The char grilled oysters were also a special that evening, so of course we had to try a half dozen. Everything was delicious, but the hanger steak and shrimp were definitely the standouts for me. I really enjoyed being able to order several smaller plates and experience a little bit of everything. The food was flavorful, the service was helpful, and there are still several things on the menu I want to try. The lamb sliders are already on my list for my next visit. Pamplona was a great first experience and definitely a spot I will return to when I am back in Lafayette.

It was not bad, but it was very salty. My wife and I got two of their craft drinks, both were incredibly sweet. There goes $30 right down the drain, thanks for the help Kyle. If you've want a quick stop for wine and a few overpriced appetizers maybe it's ok, but know what you're getting into. I wouldn't come back here, personally. Service meh, food meh, overall meh.

First off, the restaurant is absolutely adorable. There's a beautiful wine wall when you walk in, and they even offer a stack of wines you can purchase for $30 with no corkage fee, which is such a great deal. We ended up getting two bottles. We were seated in the back area, which was quiet with just a few other groups around. It was a really cute and cozy space. We ordered: * Arancini: good flavor, but a little dry. * Burrata: absolutely phenomenal. The cheese was delicious, and the beets and tomatoes tasted incredibly fresh and organic. * Chicken Piccata: this completely stole the show. The chicken was perfectly cooked and had so much flavor. The pasta served alongside it was very plain though. * Alla Vodka with Shrimp (added): we added shrimp for some extra protein. The dish was definitely on the heavier side. Our waitress recommended it, but I probably would have chosen something else if I had known. It was very rich. The one thing worth noting is that our appetizers came out pretty quickly, probably within 10-15 minutes, but we ended up waiting close to an hour for our entrées. They definitely should have paced the appetizers out a little better if the main courses were going to take that long to arrive. Overall, the service was phenomenal, the atmosphere was charming, and the wine specials were fantastic. I'd definitely come back, especially for the chicken piccata.

Our table was near the bar, which was packed. I assume this is why the room was very loud - so loud it was hard to hear the person across the table. That was our only negative note of the evening. Our server acknowledged us almost immediately and was attentive but not intrusive throughout the evening. We ordered drinks which were served surprisingly quickly considering how busy the bar was. We accepted the offer of bread, which was an outstanding focaccia. We started with the crudo - it changes and was yellowtail that night. It was super fresh, perfectly sliced and trimmed (no icky bits), and simply dressed with lemon, olive oil, salt and crushed pink peppercorns. I had a mista salad, which was great, but my husband's Caesar stole the show. The dressing was clearly house made and the best we've had in a long time. I ordered the pork cheeks, and they were tender, very rich and flavorful. I was pleasantly surprised that the polenta was delectable in its own right and not just a bland base. The portion size was huge. My husband ordered the special, a white puttanesca with shrimp. It was deliciously complex and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. We took dessert to go - tiramisu and a cannoli. Both were superb. One of the owners checked in with us, which is a practice that's become much less common but is always appreciated. His pride in the establishment and pleasure at our enjoyment were apparent. I can see why this place is so popular and I'm sure it will become a part of our rotation.
