Despite my satiety, I had to sample the limoncello dessert (similar to tiramisu, but made with limoncello). Tears welled up in my eyes. I remembered my husband's cooking (he passed in 2008). I was satisfied with the service. The manager waited on us. At first, he recognized my snobbery....lol....then after much conversational exchange, an air of respect emanated between us. The atmosphere was one of reserved elegance. Dimly lit, quiet conversation ensued. For couples, Amalfi's definitely encourages the romantic spirit.
