I've always compared other crabcake Benedict's with Crepevine's. However, last week I had the crabcake Benedict at Café Benedict and OMG it surpassed my expectations! The first red flag was that we were the only two people in the cafe, from when we walked in until we left. We each ordered a breakfast, and I also ordered a side of bacon. My wife's Dubai chocolate pancake tasted really off-putting and chemical-ish, like acetone. She took a few bites and didn't want to finish it. I ordered some kind of tomato and onion dish with a poached egg, which was overcooked and hard. They never brought my bacon. I mentioned that to our server, and he just shrugged and said oh, sorry, I forgot. Dude, how are you going to forget my order when we're the only people there? With Marvin's in the same parking lot, and places like The Twins, Cafe Mimosa, and Chila-killer Cafe only a few minutes away, this place is going to be a hard pass from us in the future. 0/5 stars. read more

My friends and I went here for breakfast. We had the Garden, Mexican, and Greek Benedict's. They were super flavorful and all of our eggs were cooked perfectly. The menu is unique with a different variety of food to choose from that you might not have somewhere else. Our waiter was kind and checked on us a lot throughout our visit. I didn't get the name of the waitress, but she was so good I added a little extra to the tip. She was knowledgeable about the menu and made great suggestions. She's was timely and attentive. For years we went to a breakfast joint near to Cafe Benedict and due to the over crowding and volume of that other resturaunt we decided to give Cafe Benedict a try and I am so glad we did! Beautifully seasoned meat, fluffy rice (and I'm not even a rice person!), warm soft pita, silky hummus with that herby olive oil drizzle, and the kind of creamy tzatziki that made my tongue smile! But the real star? The falafel. Crispy little golden logs of joy, crunchy outside, soft and flavorful inside, and honestly so good they barely need sauce... though the tahini dip they come with is amazing too. Tried this place with a couple of friends, and the service was terrible. I ordered the house Benedict, and my friend ordered the Mexican Benedict. When the waitress brought the food out she brought out two Mexican Benedict's, and told her politely that wasn't what I ordered. She said I would get my correct food soon, and that she accidentally put my order in incorrect. I then proceeded to wait for my food, while all my friends felt awkward eating their meal while I sat there with nothing. After around 30 minutes the waitress came back over and apologized and said there was a rush and my food would be right out. The place was not super busy, so I'm assuming they forgot again. Around 40 mins we asked for the check and to get it to go. When the check came we were charged for an extra Benedict, and my food was STILL not out. I wonder if these reviews were all written by family and friends. This is the second time we've been here by mistake which starts to make you wonder if you're being tricked. The first time it was called something different. The second time it was Café Benedict but it's the same people. My husband and I each ordered a different Benedict. Wow! The eggs came hard. I mean as a rock I mean you cut into it and nothing liquidy came out of it. Was it my mistake? I did say that I wanted mine with no snotty whites that's all I said, and they did both of ours that way. After I complain, they didn't make it right and they sent out normal poached eggs however it was not good. Nothing about it was good. The hollandaise sauce wasn't good and the place was pretty empty and I was surprised because I thought being a Sunday at the time we were there it would be very crowded. Will we go back? She was so friendly, accommodating even after my meal, had to take a box and she gladly scooped up my leftovers for me. Many restaurants servers will not do that for you. The menu has changed. Love, love, love it here! This is even the first place we ever brought our baby to eat in public and they were great with accommodating us and making us feel welcome. I love their Bellini's, of course, especially the flights, but when I was pregnant I found out they have a delicious, mint lemonade. It was so refreshing and such a nice treat while I couldn't drink. This was our first visit to Café Benedict and we were very impressed. One of us had the eggs Benedict with with avocado and bacon and thought it was wonderful. The other one of us had an omelette and we could choose whatever we wanted in it and it was really very good and I really love their country potatoes we will definitely be coming back. read more

Adding to my previous review, I did have what I thought was their dinner menu (it's not, it's all day as well) and I'm in love. The baba ganoush sauce is so freaking good. I'm upset at myself for not ordering it before. It's Smokey, smooth and the perfect pairing for their meat (I got shrimp) and pita. As usual everything is made from scratch and tasted great. Only complaint I would have is my husband and (little) SIL got the country fried steak. One was perfect, while the other had way too much breading. I'll chop it off as a one off situation, as we've never had this issue before, but not great for me to bring my family in law for the first time to experience for Mother's Day. They were still happy w the food once my SIL switched hers for my husbands that wasn't as bready. They're a bit slow refilling the bottomless mimosas, it wasn't super busy when I was there, but they do have very friendly service as usual. I'm pretty picky about my food but these people are truly skilled and the shawarma is amazing and they have a shawarma sandwich bomb and I cannot stop ordering the Gyros fresh bright delicious and the pita is down right fluffy and I love love loved it, so super delicious. we usually just order to go but sometimes we wait the staff is always attentive and I'll have a Bellini while I wait lol this is definitely going to take on your traditionalist on with omelette and such but you need to try the fresh authentic Mediterranean food I'll be back very soon. My wife was craving lamb so we decided to try Zaina's. We ordered the Quad Kabob plate and Falafel Mezza platter. Everything was excellent. The chicken kabob was tender and flavorful. The beef was savory. The grilled shrimp was perfect and the lamb was excellent! The falafel was so good - not dry and hard like some restaurants. You could still taste the texture of eggplant in the baba ganoush. Most places get this wrong and it's way too mushy. The smoked, grilled flavor was perfect as well. The hummus and cabbage salad were delicious. The vegetables in side salad that came with the Quad Kabob plate were all extremely fresh. Our server, Nestor, was very friendly. Wow, what a solid brunch! I really like the build your own omelette/scramble in the menu. Since you can mix and match 3 things, I chose chicken shawarma, pepper jack, and mushrooms. My omelette turned out to be amazing. Where else can you find shawarma in your omelette lol. I also asked to really crisp up my house potatoes and they did a great job at it.
