From start to finish, tis was a great experience. We've lived in Santa Rosa our whole lives but overlooked this establishment. We finally decided to give it a try. We were greeted with a smile straight away. Seated within seconds. The establishment is spacious, loved the atmosphere. Clean and well maintained. Food was delicious and the service went above and beyond! Offered some homemade spicy salsa! Our new go to spot. The menu has many breakfast and lunch items to offer. I got their most most popular dish the Chilaquiles Los which was served beautifully and tasted yummy. The dish was huge so my husband had to help me out a bit.

I really wanted breakfast and I did a quick search and this place came up. Let me tell you, any place that specializes in chilaquiles is good in my book. And this place did not disappoint. I got the Chilaquiles Los Compadres which is their most popular platter with rice, beans, carne asada, and both their green and red chilaquiles. It was so good! I can't wait to go back when I drive up to wine country from the city. I also got a cup of their Cafe de Olla which is a sweetened and spiced coffee. So comforting and the perfect amount of sweetness. And served in adorable traditional mugs. It was a Saturday morning and the restaurant was maybe 50% full at 11am. But even with that, the service was quite slow. Not that I don't think the servers were hustling, just that I think they were understaffed. I ordered for take out and I believe I was there waiting for my food for half an hour. So just be prepared. Good thing is, I don't get hangry and I had some time. Will come back for sure.

The staff seated our party of six and took our order quickly. Since it was Memorial Day, I do think the food took longer than usual, and it took about 40 minutes for everyone's meals to arrive, though the drinks came out fast. Our table ordered both the red and green chilaquiles, along with a few other smaller dishes. I'd come back again to see if the food turnaround time is quicker on a regular day. The highlight for me was definitely the café de olla -- perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. They also did a great job avoiding any order mistakes, and the staff was very patient and polite throughout our visit.

This is now my 3rd visit to this place. They have great menu options serving breakfast and lunch. Their portion sizes for the plates that I have tried (French toast Los compadres and pancakes Los compadres) are a good size and filling. They also offer fresh squeezed juices. The staff are friendly and quick and the restaurant is clean. Weekends tend to be busy so be patient as there may be a bit of a wait.

Three starts for flavor of the food. Honestly I didn't enjoy my meal at all. The steak was bland, and salsa were not to my liking, just tasted plain and kinda watery. I will say the portion of the servings are amazing. You can definitely share... the prices are reasonable per serving size. The place is pretty big on the inside and very clean. The service was super friendly and given with smiles. My sister and I felt welcomed. It felt like we were family.

Super happy service from the moment you walk in the door. The chilaquiles were amazing and so was the huevos ranchero. I can't wait to go back and get the torta!

I got the chilaquiles just to realize they were way too spicy for a 10-year-old would not recommend - unless you get them less spicy. very good customer service, great fresh squeeze orange juice. Will be back

So my little sister convinced me to come here she said it was really good. She is only six. My parents brought her here. Surprisingly, she has excellent taste. This place was amazing that Chilaquiles were really delicious. The service was great as well. I also got to drink a café de Olla. It was really really good. I would definitely come back here again. The nice part about it was at this spot was actually pretty affordable so if you are looking to eat somewhere for under $20 I definitely recommend this spot. I will definitely be returning!

Absolutely amazing experience! The customer service was top-notch, and the attention to detail truly stood out. From the food to the drinks, everything was exceptional. I highly recommend visiting this place -- don't skip it!

I had the red chilaquiles with chorizo, black beans and fried egg. Everything was excellent! The red sauce was so good. The chips didn't get totally soggy, stayed a little firm. The chorizo had such good flavor. I'd go back for sure.

Chilaquiles with red sauce, over hard eggs, chorizo, and black beans. Topped with cotija, raw red onion, and crema. Avocado is extra.

Husband wanted a Mexican breakfast and our usual favorite spot was closed. After a quick search, we found Chilquiles Los Compadres, read that they were good for breakfast, and decided to give it a try. We were greeted right away and seated a couple minutes later. The restaurant is clean and nicely done, I believe it was remodeled earlier last year. Casual atmosphere. We were both surprised, given the name of the restaurant, at how few Mexican dishes were actually offered. Basically felt like any other American diner with a handful of Mexican options. Chips and salsa are not served here. My husband went for their chilaquiles rojo with chorizo and black beans (refried was also an option). They asked if he'd like to add avocado to which he said yes, and they asked if onion, cheese, and sour cream was okay (yes). I ordered a simple two egg breakfast with hashbrowns and sausage links. My husband really really enjoyed his chilaquiles. The sauce was thick and flavorful, and the chips still had some crunch (soggy chips are the worst). The chopped raw onion was a nice touch and added good flavor to the dish. His avocado was nice and fresh. He had asked for salsa and was brought Tapatío and a chili oil of some kind, which he said had good flavor. My meal was good- eggs were cooked perfectly and seemed to be of good quality based on the richness of the yolk- and my sausage was good. My hashbrowns seemed like they barely touched the grill- not at all crispy which was a bummer. Service was just a tad lacking (though polite) and we were only checked on after nearly completing our meals. When our food was initially delivered, my meal was missing an element so I had to flag someone down to ask for it, and my drink glass ran dry before I completed my meal but was not offered a refill. Nothing that would deter us from returning but I would have appreciated a little more attentiveness. Overall we enjoyed our experience and will likely return. I will definitely ask for my hashbrowns to be extra crispy next time. One thing I want to mention is that they are currently charging an additional $2.00 for any dish that contains eggs, dealing with the shortage and increased pricing themselves.

Omelette stuffed with green chilaquiles & home potatoes. Also red chilaquiles with eggs & refried beans.

Visiting from Los Angeles and yelped this wonderful place! The red & green chiquiles were delicious and the refried beans a thumbs up. The customer service was a "10" in my book. The ambiance was so warming & cozy when you walked in. It was amazingly clean! I will return when I'm in town & would recommend it to everyone.

Chilaquiles verdes was Very yummy, my waitress is very nice & friendly. Place was busy. So to me that's a great sign!

The food was incredible, and even the presentation stood out. The meals and drinks were served on beautiful plates, glasses, mugs, and cutlery that made the experience feel even more special. Every employee we interacted with was genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the prices were very fair for the quality of the food and overall experience. We enjoyed breakfast so much that we came back the very same evening for dinner and the mariachi performance. The dinner menu is different from the breakfast menu, and once again, everything we ordered was outstanding. The food was delicious, the cocktails were fantastic, and even dessert was exceptional. I'm so glad we discovered this hidden gem. It's rare to find a restaurant that delivers such an amazing experience from start to finish, twice in the same day! This has definitely become one of our favorite restaurants, and I'll be a lifelong customer.

With all of the options around it is sometimes hard to pick a place to go on a Saturday morning. Jeffrey's is a charming, family friendly establishment that is attached to a small inn off Highway 12. Other inside is pretty small, but they do have some outdoor tables. The interior has some lovely art on the walls as well as positive phrases making you feel like you're home. The service is also great here, and I feel like I've seen the same folks working here for many years. My wife and I ordered two different Hashes to share. The Brussel Sprouts and Bacon Hash is fantastic, which has this blue cheese aioli that gives the dish so much flavor. The Brussel sprouts seem like they're steamed and then tossed in the hash with sautéed diced onions, bell peppers and bacon. The aioli is on the side, but just adding a little bit to each bite gives it so much extra. We also ordered the special of the day which was a Smoked Chicken and Butternut Squash Hash. It has some of the same elements of sautéed onions and bell peppers, but this was served with a cilantro aioli. This dish, while not as amazing at the other Hash, was still really good. My daughter ordered the Buttermilk pancakes (added blueberries to them) with sausage and eggs. She certainly enjoyed them!

Ordered the Eggs Benedict. The poached eggs were on point. Absolutely perfect. The champagne hollandaise was a fun twist but couldn't save the meal. The English muffin might have been hard track. It was paper thin and I had to saw through it. Ham had no flavor at all. I don't think it was ham. Maybe thin sliced and unseasoned pork but not ham. Worst part was the county potatoes. They came out slightly above room temperature and hard. They're parboiled then flash fried. Not a bad way to get crisp but I can only assume they do this ahead of the rush and then they sit in a container to be served. My wife ordered her's extra crispy and they come out much better. Coffee smelled and tasted like an ashtray. Overall, I wanted to like this place and the service itself is amazing, but the back of the house needs some work.

My boyfriend and I ordered wine, the artichoke dip, mussels, tagliatelle, 1/2 chicken, and bread pudding. There was a good variety of wine to choose from and the waitress was nice enough to give me a couple samples before ordering a full glass. We were surprised by the lemon / tangy flavor in the artichoke dip but really enjoyed it! We LOVED the mussels--this was a generous serving, and this was a great combination with the broth and sausage. The tagliatelle was clearly homemade and fresh, and the sauce was flavorful but light; the only thing I would change is the amount of peas / pea flavor. The chicken skin was perfectly crispy! Lastly, the bread pudding was literally baked fresh to the point where we almost couldn't order it. The staff told us it would be a bit of a wait, but when it took a little longer than expected, they continued to check in on us and whether we still wanted to wait. It was definitely worth it!
