OK we are from out of the area and we needed a breakfast place and this sounded weird (alcoholic drinks in the morning?) but it was close. So we gave it a try. I was expecting to feel blah about it. As we went in I saw they named the chef on the outside window, and I thought hmm, interesting. Going in we were greeted by the hostess whose smile was a little too deliberate, maybe it's a required smile enforced by the bosses which can sometimes not be the best feels for the customer. Bosses, please don't do that. But still she was nice and we were seated and helped quickly. They have a great menu with lots of enticing options, it was looking good already. Then we found out they had crab cake eggs benedict! So I skipped out on my other options, pancakes or huevos rancheros, and we split that. The prices seemed kind of high but then where is that not the case these days? Given the feel of the place it seemed fair to me. The food came and it was amazing. Generous amount of crab and it was real crab, with perfect eggs and sauce on a gorgeous english muffin that was... stay with me here I'm not trying to get fancy with prose here, let me just reuse what I said above: amazing. Somehow the muffin was both crisply toasted in butter to a crunch on top (of the muffin), yet amazingly chewy (in a good way) on the bottom. And not soggy, the sauce was well placed on top of the egg above the crab cake. The service was friendly and in all ways perfect. Food came quickly. The place was not noisy or perfumey. My only regret is I can only tell you about that one dish since that's what we shared. I was too full to finish the little smash-grilled baby potato discs so we took some to go. All in all it was fantastic. We will go again next time we are in town. They did try to sell mimosas to us (at 8:30 am lol) but nah we did not go for it. read more

I only tried the mimosas. After all the name has mimosa in it. So I was HOPING they made great mimosas. Well the mimosa was SO GOOD! It did not disappoint me at all. It was perfect with the right amount of fizz. My waitress was pleasant and friendly. I loved sitting out on the patio people watching and enjoying the sunshine and scenery. It's a cozy place inside or outside. I definitely will return to try more mimosas on my next visit to California. read more

We came here for breakfast on a Saturday afternoon because our usual brunch spot was closed for some reason and we were pleasantly surprise. There was a little bit of a wait to get seated when we got there. The place is not very big and their seating is a bit bulky but very comfortable. I ordered the breakfast burrito on a tomato flour tortilla which was recommended by our server Mackenzie, who was great btw and it was delicious! Hubby got their pancakes with a side of bacon. Upon walking in the first thing to notice is the cleanliness, everything is polished and well taken care of. The place has cute quotes on the walls that I admire more than the boring "life laugh love". The waitress we had was very kind and attentive. My omelet was neither dry nor greasy, it was perfect, and all food served looked perfect. The sliced avocado on the side were precisely cut and arranged on the plate. Stopped here on the way back from Petaluma. I didn't realize there is a Café Mimosa in Petaluma and Santa Rosa in addition to this location. The interior is very bright, cheery and welcoming and we found the service to be superb. Even though it was well passed the lunch hour, there were many occupied tables, and several people enjoying colorful mimosas. We ordered the corned beef hash, which came with a smashed potato and two poached eggs and toast. I ordered the Santa Fe chicken sandwich and instead of fries, I asked for a side salad. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch and my husband must have enjoyed mine too as he kept taking bites of my sandwich. The salad was lovely with cranberries, sliced almonds, shredded carrot, shredded green and purple cabbage and tomato. They have a wide variety of breakfast and lunch items on their menu. Brittany was our server and she was personable, warm and attentive. She refilled coffee several times, refilled my water and kindly checked to make sure we were having a positive dining experience. This place is great not only for their mimosas but also their pancakes! Personally, I loooove their pancakes! Fluffy, thin, tasty and toothsome! My friend and I went here for brunch one sunday and there was a wait but the waiting process is straightforward and pretty accurate! I got the Crab Benedict which is only available on weekends and its sooooo good! Not fishy at all! We also had the mimosa flight and we loved the mango mimosa. Ambiance can be very tight and busy. Special thanks to Cassandra for taking care of our party of 4! They offer both classic and inventive meals for breakfast and lunch. And what was nice was their openness in making changes. Okay for a chain this place is insanely good. My friends and I were visiting for a baby shower and needed a nice brunch spot. We happen upon this place and it's probably one of the best brunch places we'd been to in quite a while. Food is fresh and made to order, the service is great, even the MUSIC is great! Went to a birthday brunch today and everyone noticed how the food wasn't as good as usual. The rosemary potatoes didn't taste of any rosemary (none), and there were only 8 tiny pieces! The coffee also came in super small cups. Now for the weird part, the eggs Benedict tasted like licorice, Tarragon maybe? Why tarragon? The service was poor (slow, with no refills) and the food wasn't good. What happened??? Used to love this place, but won't go back again. High prices for small plates and not very good.
