Bento meals come with your choice of white rice, fried rice, noodles or split and one entree dish $12.99, two items $14.99, three $16.99. The portions are easily shareable and flavors are yumMAY every time! We got the orange chicken, spicy chicken, with split white rice and noodles. They also have soups like beef and wonton, a vegetarian special, and sides like egg rolls and fried spring rolls. They carry Coke products for soft drinks. Seating is in food court where is kept pretty clean, no issues on a show Wednesday evening. Staff at Cafe Bento are quick and pleasant. Came to Cafe Bento at the Seattle Premium Outlet Mall for the famous Taiwanese beef noodle soup on a rainy weekend before Black Friday. 60% of the people at the food court ordered the same, so this is indeed popular. The beef and tendon portion is decently generous with good flavor and tenderness, the bok choy is fresh and crunchy, and the broth is on the lighter side. The egg noodle is optimized for speed and not for flavor as it can't absorb the flavor from the broth. The flavor is authentic but quality is still not as good as Din Tai Fung (though cheaper by ~$4), and served in black plastic bowl which is both bad for your healthy and the environment. Overall good value but I would only come back if they change their serveware. read more

Food? Yes, they have food. It's pretty standard vat food splatted into a compartmentalized plastic food box. Drink refills are $1. Sigh. Service? Yes, they will splat your food into a box. They seem like they want you to hurry up and order and don't ask questions. Also, they want you to tip them, but it's unclear what service they offer since you get the food from them, then you bus your own table. But also, it's not far from where I charge my car. Ambiance? It's a mall food court. There is a lot of ambient noise and screaming kids. read more

Were shopping in this plaza, and this looked like the best choice in the food court. They had a sign for famous beef noodle soup from Taipei, so I gotta try it! The beef is actually quite good! Nice and tender, and they were not stingy on it either. However, the noodle is completely wrong for Taiwanese beef noodle soup! Also the broth was quite thin, not what I expected. Maybe I was expecting too much from a food court stall, but they did say it's famous so raised my expectation! I do appreciate having this option in the food court, but probably wouldn't get it if I visit again. read more

As far as Asian food court food goes, this is some of the best we've had. The food felt fresh, the flavors were good, and wasn't too overcooked. The curry chicken is remenescent of Cantonese curry and the flavors hit the spot. Chicken felt a little bland and a little overcooked. I love this place. I know it's fast food. But loved their bento boxes with noodles and fried rice. Always picked up different chicken sides - Orange chicken, sweet b spicy, curry chicken - plenty of options! The staff is just awesome. They offer samples, especially for kids. Patiently waits for us to pick the food. They will add adequate napkins and utensils without asking. That's always the case no matter how crowded this place is. Expect long lines. Wow! I don't give 5 stars often, but this was a pleasant surprise on a busy holiday shopping afternoon. As soon as we walked in the food court there are 3 things we noticed. 1) Cafe bento sitting in the middle of all restaurants has a long line. 2) there's a beef noodle soup sign. 3) eventhough the line was long, they seem to have a good system that moved customers fast. Plus it was 42 degrees outside noodle soup sounds perfect. We ordered the signature beef noodle soup, sweet and spicy chicken and teriyaki chicken. And wow! I don't think I've had beef noodle soup this good in the states, it was as authentic as it gets. The portion was great with lots of beef and the broth was savory. The sweet and spicy chicken is fresh with a little kick, perfect for kids, and the teriyaki chicken was juicy. Although the chicken was more typical mall food, but the beef noodle soup was phenomenal, I can't recommend it more. Lastly the service was great, the lady was attentive, we went back several times asking for bowls and utensils because we are splitting the meals. She was polite and gave us more than we asked. Overpriced Panda Express. The chow mein was very wet also, and was just spaghetti noodles with teriyaki sauce/water lol. The teriyaki chicken was good though, but for the price you could get more value elsewhere. But I didn't mind eating here out of all the other options available at the food court. read more

The food was rather delicious, the service was quick, the cost..... well it wasn't cheap. For one plate of food and a drink it was $18, that is a significant amount more than I have paid elsewhere. I was laughing out loud over the reviews about the other restaurant in this food court. I'm not trying to die so probably this is the only choice I had. (I saw the food trucks outside later but nah the food seems more like snacks than actual lunch) I ordered the beef noodle soup and I was pleasantly surprised. For less than 10 bucks, I was given more braised beef than I could ever finish. The broth was decent and the noodles were not soggy. And obviously I'm still alive. The asian lady was super nice and attentive to her customers. Meanwhile the lady with interesting eyebrows were Taking. Her. Time. With. A. Ton. Of. People. Waiting. For. Food. I like their beef noodles! However they are getting real stingy on beef starting from 3 months ago! They used to give you quite a lot of beef pieces, but now they only gave you a few - no more than 5! When a restaurant wants to make money, giving customers less than what they pay for is not a good practice! read more

Who would have thought you can find one of the best Taiwanese beef noodle soup at a food court in an outlet mall? Super soft and huge beef chunks with wonderful beef soup that's not too salty at all. Cafe Bento is my favorite place to stop at when I am in the area of the Seattle Outlets, hearty portions me being 6-4 I got a big stomach to fill and Cafe Bento never fails me! They have so many different dishes for whatever I'm feeling that day, and their vegetables are insanely flavorful and their teriyaki chicken Fresh Off The Grill is to die for. Went to the outlet mall (marysville wa) to get shoes and I left with a very satisfied appetite. I've been all over the world and Cafe Bento has one of the BEST beef soups! The soup had chunks of beef in it (not little strips) and there where several of them. the soup bowl is huge! and will fill you up. The service behind the counter is very friendly and warm. I will be going back very soon. My sister had the Won Ton soup and she was in heaven. The Won Tons are huge, with lite but pleasing flavor. Also tried there curry and it was incredible! not hot just really flavorful. read more

I don't know why this place got five stars, maybe it was a bad day, but both my daughter and myself got sick. What a gem to find in a mall food court! I walked into the food court and saw that this place was particularly popular so I looked at the menu and saw that they have Taiwanese beef noodle soup! In addition to having an odd taste for ramen (it was okay, not bad but certainly not a great broth), the chashu was dry, overcooked, and tough. Not at all pleasant to eat. Hey, the jammy egg was good. And the space is inviting, comfortable, and clean. But this place overall falls far short. We will not be returning.

It didn't blow our minds at the time, but it was good and worth going back to for sure. Tonight, we went back again, and holy cow, I can't say enough about the quality and the value and how much they've improved over the last year. Maria was our server and she was perfect in her service and her recommendations. Friendly, attentive, and just all around a great server. First, we tried the Potstickers (per Maria's suggestion) which came with six large doughy pillows filled with pork goodness and served with a soy and scallion sauce. Delectable. We then had the Red Dragon roll, which was spicy and savory with all the right textures and flavors. SO good. Shrimp, avocado, spicy tuna, tempura, yum. Finally, we had the Mongolian Beef, which while a bit salty (the soy), was made with delicious tender cuts of beef and large fresh spring onions and was some of the best I've had. AND, the Honey Walnut Prawns which were HANDS DOWN the best I've ever had period. Sweet, but not overly so, with ample sauce but not swimming in it, perfectly cooked and still crisp battered prawns, of perfect size, and served hot out of the pan. Ridiculously amazing! SO good. I'm so glad we gave Journeys East another go around. Tulalip has always had good restaurants, but over the last two years, they have really outdone themselves. Highly, highly recommend this spot in particular, even if it takes a bit of driving to get there. 100% worth imt. 5 star service and cuisine. Please note that they do not take reservations on weekends, but on this Saturday night, we were seated within 30 minutes which is exactly what we were quoted.

Been visiting the Costco Shoreline for the main warehouse, gas, and of course, the ever popular and…read morecrowded food court since 2002. (I've stopped in also at Costco SoDO, Woodinville, Lynnwood, Lynnwood Business, and Silverdale). Useful to have the individual ordering touchpad kiosks and then the wait until your number is called. I recently noticed this past week that the tables have been increased and reconfigured. That helps with seating and traffic flow. Definitely I avoid it during peak dinner time and weekends....simply too crowded! What's been ordered over the years? Of course, the hot dog and soda. My fave go to. I miss Pepsi since the switch to Coke products, but I read somewhere that now bottled water is offered now. Pizza by the slice or whole pizza. There's only cheese or pepperoni. Remember the days with the combo? Still can't beat that price for fresh out of the oven pizza though. The Homie loves the chicken bake. I tried one of the deli type sandwiches once, didn't care for the thick bolo bread. Tried the giant chocolate chip cookie, prefer the days of the long churros instead. The espresso type bevs are just okay, prefer the soft serves. I sure miss the days featuring mango though. Service is expedient. For the price and convenience, it's a treat. Rarely pause to eat onsite, usually it's to go.
