The food was good, nothing to brag about, it was not bad but not exceptional either. Probably won't comeback since there is a better tasting Thai place near our home. With the better than just average reviews on here, I figured the food would be a lot better than it was. Ordered a chicken/beef pad Thai along with a crispy garlic chicken to go last night. The crispy garlic chicken was definitely the better tasting of the two dishes, the chicken was pretty tender, it had good flavor to it and so forth, but the portion was quite small. The pad Thai was the complete opposite to where the portion was considerably bigger but the chicken/beef were dry and chewy, the noodles had very little seasoning, flavor or sauce to them to where I wasn't even sure if I wanted to eat the leftover pad Thai for dinner this evening or throw it away. All in all, it was $48 for the two dishes and I honestly wouldn't have to go back. Maybe dining in is a better experience? I don't know, I'm not sure how a place with this amount of good reviews could possibly mess up something as easy and basic as pad Thai? read more

Friendly service, relaxing atmosphere, and delicious food! Came here twice and enjoyed everything I had, both times. The first visit I had a milk tea and a dish with chicken and rice (can't remember which one, but it's the dish in the photo below), and I really enjoyed them. If you are sensitive to spice, I would recommend a 2 or lower for your dishes. I had a level 3 spice, and I love spicy foods but this has a little kick to it. On my second visit, I tried the coconut drink which was very refreshing, tofu spring rolls, and the garlic pepper string bean chicken dish. Passing through after visiting family at Providence. Needed something delicious but clean for a late lunch. The ambiance reminded me of going to a cute bistro in downtown Seattle. Like the open garage door concept and the bar on a slight pedestal. Lots of date night vibes with the quieter music and dimmer lighting. Thanks for going the extra mile by having white tablecloths! Ordered their salt crab anchovy salad, sweet corn salad, tofu fresh rolls, unsweetened (yeah!) jasmine iced tea, and cracked coconut water. Hard to find places that offer clean beverage option besides water. The tofu fresh roll is just typical but I did enjoy it being cut into smaller pieces and an extra sauce option if you're not into the classic peanut sauce. Hubby really liked the funk of the salt crab anchovy salad (papaya salad) if you're feeling adventurous. He was going to just have this as a meal but it can be an overpowering dish on its own. I would recommend adding a side of sticky rice to offset the strong flavor. My sweet corn salad (gluten free/ vegan) was at a one star spice level but the salad was dotted with a few deceptive red hot chili peppers that will take it to a 100 star level. It was all I could do to take it down a few notches by stuffing my face with a bland fresh roll. Other than that, I am in love with it!! Good all on its own. The softened grilled coconut meat strips and deluxe whole roasted peanuts took this dish to the next level. Love the crispy green beans and tomatoes throughout. I've eaten and ordered from here a lot in the last few years. It was always a 5 experience. But today, we ordered the same dishes we always do and when my husband brought it home, one was nowhere near the same ingredients. The sauce and veg were completely different, which means it's a completely different dish. I'm really disappointed because the menu didn't reflect this change and if I would have known, I would have ordered something else, instead of ordering a dish I can't eat. I love the atmosphere here! It's so pretty and vibrant but still cozy. The food was great. My pineapple fried rice was delicious and served in a fish plate. I mean, yes. The rest of my group really liked their food as well. My only issue is that the that iced tea was too sweet and it was weirdly pricy for what I got. Maybe they messed up the charge? In long I was feeling pretty basic the other night and ordered some phad thai--which is now so widely considered overrated that it's underrated again. Lots of places make the effort to show out with this dish, even if it is too common on menus in the U.S. I got max spices, tofu, veg, chicken, and fried egg. With all that on board it's a lot on the plate, and ends up being an interesting dish. After a couple bites, it needed a boost from the home spice rack, but that's more than okay. At first, I was not going to write a review, just not go back, but if the owner reads this, they might want to know. The food just wasn't what it should've been or what it was the last time I was there a year ago. We ordered pad Thai and drunken noodles and the almost always delicious mango and sticky rice. The noodles in the pad Thai were very rubbery and very difficult to cut with a fork. And equally difficult to chew because they were so rubbery, the flavor of the dish was pleasant, although it was a little tangy/tart. The mango and sticky rice was the big disappointment because it's a $12 dessert. The mango was rockhard and very very sour. The mango was too hard to cut with a fork, in fact we didn't even eat it. We left most of it on the plate and just nibbled at the rice w sauce. Our server was very pleasant and sweet, but he did not speak much English and I didn't feel like I could communicate my disappointment on the mango and sticky rice, at least to him, and have him understand what I was saying so I didn't say anything. My wife and I treated her mom to Sabai for her birthday dinner. Free parking can be found on the street. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Limited seating can be found outdoors; however, if seated near the open bay doors it feels like sitting outside. Sabai can accommodate seating large parties. During our visit, there weren't many seated guests but there were a considerable number of people coming in to pick up to-go orders. Sabai offers beer, wine and a full bar. While inspecting the menu, I sipped on a glass of Pinot Grigio for $11.50. My wife sipped on a double Jameson for $15. My MIL sipped on a Sweet Bullet for $13.50. For starters we shared the Mix My Faves for $15.99: Spring Rolls (3) , Deep Fried Mushrooms (3), Pot Stickers (3) and Cheesy Wontons (3). We each enjoyed our appetizer sample and had fun talking about which we liked the best and least. My MIL ordered the Chicken Phad Kee Mao for $14.99 + $2.50 up-charge for a side of Jasmine Rice: aka Drunken Noodles - wide rice noodle stir-fried with bell pepper, string bean, bamboo, mushrooms, tomato, onion, and basil. My wife ordered the Chicken Phad Thai for $14.99 + $3 up-charge for a side of Sticky Rice: thin rice noodles stir-fried with chives, beansprout, egg, chicken, and crush peanuts. Garnished with lime. I ordered the Chicken Red Curry for $14.99 + $0.75 up-charge for a side of Jasmine Rice: red curry paste with fresh Thai basil, bell pepper, bamboo, and chicken. We all enjoyed our meal choices. Pricing is fair. I requested 5* heat level and was disappointed that my dish was mild in fire. Service was slow but friendly. The slow service didn't bother us since we were able to visit each other that much longer without feeling rushed. I gave 5 stars because our server made my MIL feel so special on her birthday by sending her home with a complimentary ice cream to enjoy later in the evening. We ordered the wonton appetizer (meh), the pad Thai with fried tofu, (honestly how can you go wrong? unless you reheat the fried tofu and turn it into used chewing gum) the duck leg curry (came out cold and the leg was so tough even our fork couldn't break the grey leather skin, honestly this one was so bad we actually sent it back) and the famous fried chicken with rice. I thought the gym worked me out, but this chicken has my jaw entering competitions and finishing with gold trophy's. The dryness sucked every ounce of moisture from my mouth and put my muscles into overtime, we might be leaving greater than The Crimson Chin himself. Zero part of this meal was worthy of a Togo box because how can you reheat food that already feels reheated? The prices are reasonable but hope they offer smaller appetizer choices to go with cocktails. The food was spicy compared to other Thai restaurants I thought. But good flavor and spice. I was crying with the heat but couldn't stop eating. I ordered chicken pad Thai, corn fritters, papaya salad with shrimp. I liked all but corn fritters.. just not what I expected. I liked the papaya salad the best. Lots of julienned papayas and fresh shrimp, refreshing marinade. The total came about 50$ + tip, great deal. I even got free mocktail by checkin on yelp. The stir-fried noodles in particular (pad kee mao and pad see ew) were all very well cooked (though a tad on the sweet side). Found this wonderfully great little Thai place in downtown Everett after wandering around Sorticulture. FOOD: Having grown up with Thai food it's been hard finding places I like. This place does not disappoint. We had the Basil Fried Rice, Mixed Vegetables and Tamarind Sea Bass. All were great. Portions were plenty and again, the food was really good. DRINKS: We had our usual Thai Ice Tea and Thai Lemon Ice Tea that we always get at other Thai restaurants and these were good. SERVICE: Our waitress/server (not sure what the appropriate term is anymore) was fantastic . She was friendly and pleasant. We will drive back up to Everett to eat here again. This was our first night in Everett and we decided to have dinner here. The restaurant is pretty easy to find and there's plenty of seating so I imagine it would be great for groups. We were greeted right away and seated immediately. We ordered the khao mok gai (chicken & tumeric rice) waterfall steak (spicy level 4), grilled pork shoulder with a side of sticky rice. The chicken had crispy skin which we liked but the meat was a bit dry. The rice it came with was fluffy and flavorful. We enjoyed the other meat dishes very much. For dessert we ordered the bua loy and coconut ice cream. To our surprise the bua loy was served in a young coconut and it was really good! The coconut ice cream was ok, it wasn't our favorite because it reminded us of vanilla ice cream with a light coconut taste. Thai style coconut ice cream (itim ka-ti) should be distinctly pure coconut (coconut milk, coconut water, and sugar) in flavor and a bit icy in texture. Singha beer, a pale lager, paired well with our meal. We received excellent customer service. We learned that the new owners took over in April 2022 and business has been doing quite well as people transition to their menu. Overall we had a positive experience here, and are glad to support local businesses. If you're in the area, I recommend you try everything we ordered. read more

Solid 4.5 This was a surprising gem we discovered on a short getaway. We arrived a little later in the evening and were greeted very quickly by the warm staff member who was running everything up front that night. We ordered a Garden Fresh Roll with Tofu $12 and a Sabaijai Fried Rice ~$16. The dishes were well-presented, especially the fresh roll. The appetizer tasted as expected (3.5/5) but the side sauces were stand outs deserving a star of its own. Both had a little kick and a great depth of flavour. The fried rice was exceptional: green curry paste, thai green eggplant, basil, bell peppers, string beans and pork. It's hard to describe the amazing aromas that emanated from the dishes, and the flavours were so enjoyable. We ordered level 2 spiciness which was just right for us. It was cooked to perfection on the outer part until mid part of the chicken turned out to still be raw. However, the owner was very apologetic and refried the rest of it.
