We were looking for a new place to try in Fountain Hills and based on reviews, we had lunch here. It was a great move. From the time we walked in, the people were friendly and helpful. We had a chicken cheddar quiche, a turkey bacon Swiss hoagie and split a cardamom roll for dessert. The quiche was delicious, but the crust was the star. Interestingly, the sandwiches come without any dressing. Instead, they have a bliss bar where there's probably around 20 different sauces and condiments you can add to any sandwich or salad or quiche for that matter. A great idea! Added onions, pepperoncini, olives, and lettuce to the hoagie. And also extra olives to the side salad that came with the quiche. This is our first time here, but it won't be our last. read more

Not many bakers here in the valley are familiar with or make Swedish Princess Cakes. Cafe Bliss does, thanks to talented Malin. I ordered a natural-colored one. They normally are green (have seen done as pink as well). This is one of the best ones we have ever had. Their prices are on the higher end, but the quality is there. And their Swedish coffee is very smooth and enjoyable. read more

My first impression as a walk-in new customer to this café = clean and cheerful! Said hello to the friendly owner (Malin) on my second visit, and learned this is a family-operated business, which is a huge plus for my spending loyalty. The good stuff: So much deliciousness available, all goods are made on-premise by Malin and staff. There are pre-made luncheon sandwiches available, on either hoagie or ciabatta bread. Salads are served as well. Their varieties of quiche (served with small salad or fruit) are appealing, my wife tried the spinach feta quiche and really enjoyed that. Most amazing are their fresh baked goods, featuring multiple Swedish/Scandinavian delights such as cardamom buns, chocolate balls, coffee cake slices, cookies, cakes, cheesecake, pies, cupcakes, and more! Their coffee (Swedish dark roast or American medium roast) is absolutely good, very fresh and tasty. I've not tried any of their their breakfast sandwiches yet. There is even a breakfast "Bliss Burrito" which I will try on an upcoming visit. Since Cafe Bliss opened just a few months ago, we are regular customers because the food is so delicious. There is something for everyone. I'm a vegetarian so my favorite sandwich is the Mozzarella Tomato. Very high quality cheese and choice tomatoes. I've also had the Greek Salad, that comes with a mound of Feta cheese, and the Quiche is to die for. My favorite is the Spinach Feta Quiche, that comes with a side salad. They have a fixings salad bar so you can add veggies to any lunch. They also have delicious sandwiches for you carnivores. Don't get me started on the pastries, the almond croissant, the cinnamon/cardamom bun, and the cranberry scone, and many more. Add a smooth and strong Dark Roast coffee with free refills. The prices are right, the staff is friendly and welcoming. Definitely a 5 star! read more

I had a Bacon, egg and cheese English Muffin for about 7 bucks. I wanted to test the place out. All in all the English muffin was good but the tiny amount of dry egg, very thin bacon and a half a slice of cheese made for a dry sandwich. Thinking about it now I probably should've used the sandwich fixings bar in the restaurant to add mayo, lettuce, tomato to help the sandwich out. They should probably charge 10-11 bucks and make a better sandwich. This place is in the old spot of Sipps, let's hope they make it. read more

The food especially the deserts are great and reasonably priced. While this location has had several businesses in the past, Cafe Bliss is the best by far. Everything is very clean and the food is always fresh and delicious. Everyone who works there has been very gracious and welcoming. Just went there for the first time after the gym and I was like a kid in a candy store. We don't have a lot of quick and accessible healthy food spots here in fountain hills. I bought a protein shake, a yogurt parfait, a hot hoagie and a chicken and avocado salad all for $30. Everything was delicious and quick and well priced. The best part was the service. I watched the server woman who wore the black gloves. She picked up the straw paper on the floor by coffee bar and food bar. She did not removed the dirty gloves. She kept making the coffee put the lid on with her dirty gloves. She also touched the food on the plate with her dirty gloves to serve to customers. After served food to the customers and she then was kneading the bread. Will not come back. Will report to health food dept. read more
