We eventually ordered four cones (ube and matcha)...and giving credit where it's due, the ice cream itself is still very good. It's creamy, flavorful, and consistent with what we had on a previous visit. That said, the portions felt off this time. The cones didn't seem as full, and what really stood out was that each one had a noticeable hollow center -- almost like the middle was missing. Sign. For $9 a cone, that just shouldn't happen. Last time I was here, it felt like a 5-star spot. This visit? Not there at all. Still good ice cream, but between the wait and the portion issues, it didn't live up to the price.

I stopped in after work and was greeted by the friendly staff at the counter, who helped me choose and answered my questions about their different fillings. I will say that the chocolate cake was a little bit drier than I feel that it should have been. The vanilla cake was perfect. I do like that all of the cupcakes were filled into the center. My favorite of those that I purchased was the Hostess style. All of the cupcakes were thoughtfully decorated. 4 cupcakes cost just over $17. Each is priced somewhere between $4.25 and $4.95.
