I came here twice while visiting in New York. It is a cute little coffee spot, but the menu is a little small, the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5. The coffee quality is great and the man working is very knowledgeable about coffee! They have indoor seating and there is plenty of parking. The prices are $$. My wife and I continued our tour of all the local coffee shops. We appreciated the fact that they stay open until 5 on Sundays. The staff were pleasant and professional and we were able to get comfortable seating to hang out in. My wife enjoyed a coconut cold brew coffee. I knew they had pour over and went straight for that. They have a "reserve" pour over available and today they were featuring Finca Rumania coffee from El Salvador. They roasted it themselves to a medium light and it was beautifully complex. Roast'd coffee is a must-try if you're in the Nanuet/ New City area. It is the truest coffee shop in the area- with their main focus being on making an excellent cup of joe. The interior is extremely clean and modern looking. There is a beautiful sleek coffee bean roaster and shelves full of coffee beans to go. The service was excellent. A great coffee house! The location once was occupied by Starbucks. It has it's own roaster and all the beans are roasted in house. They offer a selection of roasts according to your preference. I first visited it over the weekend and it was for me a place I will frequent when I want a quality cup of coffee. The owner was very nice and helped me select a roast according to what I was looking for. I told him I like the house blend at Gregory's coffee and his recommendation was spot on! All coffee orders are pour overs. Cups come in 4-5 different sizes. It's not a long wait considering, and it's worth it. The space is clean, roomy and inviting especially if you need to study, meet up for coffee, etc. Highly recommended. read more

I have been to Roast'd Coffee twice in the last two weeks, after purchasing scrubs from Scrubs Nyack (which is in the same section as this coffee shop). I have ordered a Pumpkin Spice Latte and a Mocha from them during my visits. Both drinks were just okay. There was nothing that stood out to me about the drinks and that's okay. I liked that the coffee shop is conveniently located next to other stores that I check out, but there is nothing in particular that draws me back for their coffee. read more

Overpriced and mediocre coffee. Been to other shops that do pour over and coffee ranges from very good to exceptional. Priced at around $4 for a large. $6+ inc tax for a medium pour over at this location. One barista working, more focused on mixed coffee drink orders than my pour over resulted in an underwhelming experience. Charging a premium? Put as much care into my pour over as the mixed drinks. Won't be back, have other, better options at a better price. read more

Went there after lunch for a latte. Loved the place for studying or reading. The latte was well made. Service was nice. Only con is place was busy and only 1 Barista who also took orders. She kept the line moving and did her absolute best but ultimately service was slow. read more

What a gem!! Grand opening alert!! New coffee shop in Nanuet. By far the best coffee I've had in upstate NY. They have a cozy seating area in the front and also multiple tables throughout the store. Christine did an amazing job with our drinks, definitely would recommend the matcha latte with oat milk and maple, you also can't go wrong with the cold brew! They took over the location that was Starbucks. Overall the places cute. The front has one set of couches/lounge chairs... Would be nice to have an additional set of lounge chairs, but there are tables with chairs so other people can sit. Coffee was tasty And Service was great! read more

As a new mom in desperate need of a pick me up this is my go to place. The whole family enjoys it! The chai lattes are delicious as well as the coconut cold brew. I purchased a butter croissant and a chocolate croissant from Roast'd. They tasted so good that I went back 4 days in a row.The service was great. I am very happy this shop opened around Nanuet! Besides Panera or Starbucks there weren't that many options to sit your butt down, plug in your laptop and work for 4+ hours in one place. With Roast'd Coffee you get that option in a spacious place with great tasting coffee. Two things you got to know about this place is that its new and its located in the mall. This is very advantageous for early birds because: 1) No one is shopping around the Nanuet shoppes this early 2) Not everyone knows they can come here yet Combine those things with its spacious seating and you can reliably use this place as a work station. Just grab a drink in the morning and buy pastries throughout the day and you will be working happily. The vibes here are also very chill and relaxing as well. The music they played was soft Christmas stuff and their decorations were minimalist industrial. I am all down for the minimalist industrial... the Christmas music I will suffer for a bit before switching to my earbuds. Nevertheless its a good place to relax and work. If there is area for criticism I have though it would be to see more food options. Roast'd Coffee has the pastries but for someone who wants a fuller breakfast it might be nice expanding into hot breakfast sandwiches or bites. Also for drinks, coffee is critical... but maybe think of offering seltzer/water options also. If you develop a clientele who work for hours they will definitely want to wet their whistle without getting another caffeine spike. I hope this place makes good business in the shoppes and I am definitely coming again! read more

I think this location was once a Starbucks, but they did an awesome job of making it their own. Inside felt like a good blend of modern/cozy coffee shop. It was the kind of place I could have spent an hour in, just reading a book. The service was very friendly--both people I interacted with were very helpful and kind. I had my toddler with me and he's... a toddler, but both employees seemed to genuinely enjoy his louder presence, and one offered to help me get my order to my car. The order: iced oatmilk chai, hot vanilla latte, and a hot black coffee. All were reported to be great, and my hot coffee was honestly the best cup I've ever had. We went a week ago, but I'm still thinking about it and, hence, writing this review. A note: all coffees are pour overs here--meaning you'll wait a minute if you order in person, and you'll have a wonderfully fresh, balanced cup as a result. These people know what they're doing and I guarantee you'll have a great cup of coffee here no matter what you order. I got to say that I do like it it brings me back to an old fashion coffee shop moment it's a big plus that they actually grind their own beans in the actual coffee establishment that you see them do it right in front of you. The baked goods are incredibly delicious, especially the chocolate croissants! The workers are very friendly and give good recommendations when you are unsure what drink to get. I enjoy studying there as it provides a nice atmosphere with music thats not too loud. My go-to drink is a quad-shot latté with caramel and almond milk! The freshly pulled espresso leaves a creamy taste. Another recommendation would be the mocha, as they use dark chocolate that's melted specifically for that drink. This place recently opened in Nanuet. I'm sort of a coffee snob and never understood why so many people like the taste of burnt Starbucks coffee. There are so many other coffee houses with excellent options that are roasted to perfection. This place is definitely one of them. They roast their beans on-site in small batches to ensure freshness. There are no large coffee brewers with pre-brewed coffee sitting around. Every cup is poured over by hand at the perfect temperature. Yes, it takes a little more time to wait for your cup, but it's worth it. There are about a dozen different roasts to choose from so you'll never be bored with the options. This is a true coffee house in every sense of the word. The owners are very attentive to their customers and do their best to ensure you have a great experience. The ambiance is also very nice and quiet like a coffee shop should be. Anytime I'm in Nanuet I'll make sure to stop by. read more
