LOVE LOVE LOVE! Today, my coworker and I visited this charming cafe on the corner of Foothill Blvd. We placed a phone order for pickup, and the wait time was just 12 minutes. As soon as we walked in, I was immediately drawn to the beautiful artwork, board games, and other unique touches around the cafe. I also loved how the menu was displayed on TVs--it really added a modern, fun vibe. The space was spacious but not crowded, making it a very comfortable environment. Sal, the owner, greeted us with a warm, welcoming smile. She provided AMAZING service--friendly, polite, and so accommodating. She mentioned that they serve breakfast all day, with a variety of options to choose from. The coffee was absolutely delicious! I had a meatless breakfast burrito and a caramel iced coffee, while my coworker went for a mazapán iced coffee and chilaquiles. We were both so happy to discover this gem for our breakfast adventures during break time. We'll definitely be returning to support this incredible Latina-owned business. The food, drinks, and customer service were all outstanding!

My partner and I came in here on Wednesday morning - it was our first time trying it out after driving past it many times. We came here based on the reviews online and were not disappointed. We each ordered a breakfast burrito and really liked the flavors. The burritos were served with a spicy orange salsa and a mild green one. Both really good. We also ordered cafe de olla and a hot chocolate. The cafe de olla was good without added sugar. The chocolate was Abuelitas and although we have it at home all the time, this one was extra good. I'm not sure what else they add to it but it was great. The place is very clean and the customer services is great. We will defiantly be adding this place to our rotating list of local cafes. I'm so glad they are in the neighborhood.

I had came here after my husband had mentioned he enjoyed his breakfast he got while waiting for me as I was next door at the salon attending a class. The girl working in front was SO NICE, she spoke to everyone with so much respect and patience which was refreshing to experience and see. She had even allowed my husband to stay as long as he wished since he had to stay nearby until my class finished. We both very much appreciate that especially since we aren't locals and aren't familiar with the area. The nachos I got were great along with the aguas frescas, I was happy with my experience and will definitely come back if I'm in town again!

    Sandwich

Cons: $16 for a quarter pounder burger. Felt tiny. Burger was dull, overpriced and at $16 for such a small portion feels ridiculous especially compared to the $16 sandwich being loaded with 4 times more protein Pro: my husbands sandwich was great and the staff was very kind and friendly

Everything was amazing! First time here, had the chilequiles with green sauce, came with two fried eggs and delicious refried beans (ive found it hard to get good refried beans in the bay area). AND they have cafe de olla!! It's was delicious. My partner had thee bfast sandwich and the bacon was crispy and tasty. Jamaica was refreshing. The space was cute and clean. Playing salsa music which was bringing the energy. Family ran establishment and the service was overwhelmingly good. We felt so cared for. Will def be back

Cafe Cordoba opens in a corner spot of a new commercial building. Family owned. A few tables inside available for dine-in. Limited street parking. Cashier ready to take order while i perused overhead menu. Offerings: sandwiches, pastries, mex. Entrees, salads, desserts, drinks. Eats: Bocadillo (8.98) -slightly grilled sourdough bread with bacon, fresh lettuce & onions, melty american & jack cheese. -mex. style BLT. Soo Good! Ate it slowly to experience the various textures/flavas. Beats the usual blt. Drink: Cafe de Olla (4.15) Mex. Style covfefe -strong, smooth coffee, got buzz immediately. -too much sugar for my taste. Mex. Drinks seem to be oversugared... 4.5 stars worth repeating. Quick, courteous service..

Update: came back 2 days later, location is very convenient for me so why not :) This time I got the Caesar salad for lunch It came with: lettuce, chicken, Parmesan, mushrooms, peppers and tomatoes (didn't have bacon even tho website says bacon) Super tasty! I like the addition of the tomatoes, peppers, and mushrooms, I would never think to add mushrooms but it went soooo well with it and was super tasty :)

    Chilaquiles

$25.80 for tiny portions. Felt like a scam. Food was mid, especially for the East Oakland Would've asked for a refund if I checked before leaving. Skip it--just get coffee. They do have Free WiFi so that's only positive I have

The seating is mostly at table tables along the wall walls of window. It was kind of neat to be able to sit and watch people walk by in the traffic as it ebbed and flowed toward the bridge. The early morning was rather quiet outside so it wasn't noisy at all. I had a lovely chai latte, extra spicy. It was perfect after the chilly walk to this little space of warmth. They had a nice selection of pastries, ultimately I chose a danish because I love them. This one did not disappoint. It was tender and flaky and went perfectly dipped in my chai. If ever, we are in the area again, I will definitely pay another visit. It was nice to step into a local place that wasn't a chain. I think the quality of staff and consumable offerings was just so much better than you would find at one of the other places.

I came in around 8:30, a few tables outside had people drinking their coffees and eating breakfast. When I walked in, only one guy was waiting for his order. There was only one person working. I understand she was the only one preparing coffee and food. I'm not trying to complain about the wait, but the lack of acknowledging a customer to say it will take some time. I finally ordered an iced latte. I do think they have some creative drinks, but I know they are usually too sweet and I just opt for a plain iced latte instead. It was an ok latte, nothing amazing. They have a bulletin board for people to post their flyers or business cards. There was a card on the board that said A.W.A.R - All woke are retards. I'm sure that's not the view of the establishment. I do think they need to screen the board from time to time.

I have been a regular at Alameda Marketplace's The Beanery off Park Street (since college days LOL), when it comes to coffee & espresso beverages (usually my go-to) - but this small, independent coffee shop is as special as it can get! I was thrilled to make a pit stop here for a fresh cup of joe before I headed to nearby St. Philip Neri's for morning mass - and little did I know that you can hella walk to and from this place to the church with no need to get in your car to drive and park! #lessonlearned Upon my first impression & first time here, I already felt the sense of inclusivity & hospitality, since it seems like a regular place for folks within this part of Alameda - and I have GOT TO try their Vietnamese Coffee on my next visit, LOL. A small coffee shop that bursts to its seams - they have fresh-baked doughnuts & pastries, along with breakfast sandwiches, and other snacks that you wouldn't think of being available at this tiny establishment! Don't let the location and atmosphere fool you - this has been a family-friendly/oriented neighborhood staple amongst the regulars & from what I have skimmed along these reviews. Glad I found this place, and I now know where to get coffee once I step foot on the Island City of the East Bay! This is truly a #shiftlocal destination for those who support local all the way!

Mint Iced Vietnamese Coffee ($6ish/5*). Tried this during the last holidays and it was fantastic. I already love Vietnamese coffee and this had a soft cream on top with grated mint candy. So festive and just hit for that season. Wonder if they can do it all year round? Smoked Salmon Bagel ($9.50/4*) Nice toasty smaller bagel with all the usuals of soft lox n cream cheese, capers and red onions. Loved the compact size as it didn't put a lead weight in my gut in the AM hours. The bagel crust tho is kinda hard and brittle, almost crouton hard which I thought was strange. But the interior was indeed soft yet chewy. Iced Cold Brew ($4/4*) Pretty smooth. I only asked for a kiss of cream and it was just right. I prefer a more robust roast finish but still quite serviceable. I liked how the owner knew a lot of the customers by name. Since I'm not a reg, I actually was the only one who didn't get called by name on a weekday morning. Love the small town vibe and even tho not a reg, I'd still hit this up if in the neighborhood.
