I'm not even sure how to say this fairly. The physical facility is nicely done, the server was capable if a bit unenthusiastic, and the food quality was good. The big BUT here was the bizarre price. My wife and I both ordered a vegetable quiche, about 6" in diameter. I've spent decades in the restaurant industry, and would guarantee the food cost didn't exceed $1.50. The price, $9.75 per quiche. F&B operations succeed when they offer value to their customers, this was extraordinarily poor value. read more

I feel so lucky to have found this place! I am visiting Myrtle Beach for the weekend, and needed a quiet place to work on Friday. I arrived around 9:30, and it has been so peaceful. A few people have trickled in and out. You can order coffee, crepes and pastries at the bar. I had a coffee and a strawberry crepe. Probably one of the best coffee roasts I've had in a long time. It was great to find somewhere to sit and make phone calls. The ambiance is great, and the music is just right. Cafe de Paris is located in a cute little shopping center called Barefoot Landing. The worst customer service experience ever!!!!! Never been so disrespected,owners ice and Micheal are the rudest and least welcoming owners. They do not make you feel welcome or acknowledged when you enter there establishment. I have give them a few try's hoping each time to have a better experience but to no avail experienced the same coldness and rude. Pastries and coffees are average and overpriced. Even heard that there not even fresh but store bought pastries and muffins from Sam's club I will never return again!!! I will find another cafe that values my business as a loyal customer. Very cute spot decorated to feel like your eating in your home. Can accommodate a group of about 10 in their family style table. Feels and look of upscale environment with reasonable prices for fresh foods. The ladies were really nice. You can view the prep area and looked well kept and clean. I shared the Pina Colada with my brother. It was amazing, just the right amount of sweetness. If you have kids, they should definitely split this. It was a big size for kids. I have been searching for a coffee shop that I can bring my computer and work for the afternoon. This is the perfect spot for that! It's open and clean. The food was delicious. I had the caprese sandwich for lunch and then a Nutella banana waffle as a snack a few hours later. I'll definitely be heading back there to work again. The tropical waffle was okay, but there were many other dessert items on the menu that may have been more delicious. Best coffee shop in Myrtle Beach by far! Have come about 5 times and got the feel of the café, and hands down the best one I've tried in a long time. The service is always fast and accurate. There has not been a time where I felt rushed which is a change from a lot of coffee shops! The employees have a smile on their faces and are eager to answer questions. The atmosphere is amazing- calm, inviting and cozy. This coffee shop doesn't feel over crowded, and you never feel pushed to leave to leave room for other customers. There is plenty of seating and lots of options- wooden, cushioned, benches. Plenty of options for everyone! I would recommend to a friend and definitely have! A nice coffee shop, in my experience. After hearing about the cafe's recent opening in Barefoot Landing, I decided to give it a whirl -- and I'm glad I did, because everything went great. Right off the bat, I was struck by the top-notch design, with its lovely Parisian theme extending from the dining room to the patio to the restroom (which, I might add, was outfitted with complimentary hand scrubs, as a thoughtful touch). Likewise, the staff were friendly and prompt, and my order came out right. From there, I took an outside table and proceeded to have myself a fine al-fresco lunch, just reading a book and sipping coffee and watching the Barefoot Landers going about. Yummy for body and soul alike :-) My thanks goes out to all the folks at Cafe de Paris, for enabling my weirdly priceless outing. read more

Perfect place to get some work/schoolwork done. This was my first visit and I will definitely be back! I had the pick two salad and soup (not pictured) and the salted caramel cheesecake. The salad was fresh and the soup was flavorful but the cheesecake--wow!! It was one of those desserts where you feel sad when you finish it haha. We waited in line for about 10-15 minutes. The person taking our order was rude and told us if they get busy he was going to ask us to leave then we overheard him telling someone that he was going to "kick us out" even though it wasn't super busy at that moment. Incredibly disappointed with this cafe. The counter lady talked us into trying a cruffin; telling us how delicious it was. It was OK, but nothing special. Our drinks, however, were both awful. They didn't tell me, until they brought my "mint" mocha to the table that they were out of mint. The mint was the only reason I ordered it. What's worse is that it didn't even taste like mocha, either. It was just like barely warm milk. I took it up to the counter, asked them to take it back, stating how awful it was. They didn't offer me anything to replace it, a refund or even an apology. The lady very curtly said "OK" and that was it. My husbands caramel macchiato evidently wasn't much better. He said they hadn't stirred it up at all and he didn't taste any caramel until he got to the very bottom. For their prices we expected much better! read more
