Croque Madame

Love at first sight for this place! Just absolutely loved the whole atmosphere of this cafe! The food was amazing, everything that we had, the service was wonderful, one of the best in a while. The cinnamon bun minis just as good as described, and the best truffle fries, which are hard to find! We took some croissants to go too, and they warmed up beautifully! The decor is so cute, with plenty of comfortable outdoor sitting! Absolutely recommend! Being from VA, this is one place we will miss in Myrtle Beach, would come back just for it.

This place is so cute! We went here for brunch during a girls trip. Everything is sparkling clean and there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outdoors and had amazing service. The waitress was quick and attentive. She brought out chocolate chip muffins which were delicious as an appetizer. This was such a nice touch. The cappuccino was delicious! We ordered a variety of things but my Avocado toast and side salad was incredible. We will definitely be back!

We were originally going to go Winna's Kitchen but fortunately, our Lyft driver was a local and had told us that place was never open. True enough that upon arriving to Winna's kitchen, it was actually closed despite their google and Yelp saying that they are supposed to be open. Anyhow, our driver recommended this place so we went here instead. I got the basil, tomato and balsamic quiche with a side of grits. I rate the quiche 4/5, since I personally am not a fan of the balsamic with it. I would rate their grits 10/5 because it was just so beautifully seasoned. It came with a croissant, which was unfortunately sad because it's literally their name! My husband devoured his breakfast burrito which came with a generous helping of breakfast hash. By the way, the breakfast hash was to die for. As far as the burrito goes, it must have been pretty good because my husband finished the entire order. Happy to say that this is truly one of the good spots we visited here in Myrtle beach!

Triple chocolate mousse cake

We had multiple items and everything was delicious. The prices were reasonable. Our waitress was Michelle and she was great! She answered multiple questions which were helpful with our menu choices. The ambiance was lovely with plenty of light and nicely decorated.

Our server was perfect, polite, friendly and helpful. The decor is beach chique, clean, lots of natural and bright colors with great lighting. You have to visit the bathrooms, odd to say (I know), but they were very cool. My husband ordered the ham and cheese omelette with cheesy hash browns and enjoyed it very much. I had the crab cake Benedict with bacon and it was simply delicious. We would highly recommend this.

My best tip is to not sleep on the BOGO 3 tiered stand right by the register. It had a good selection and they were still soft. The sticky bun wasn't sticky enough for me, a bit dry (that one came off the fresh side, not bogo). But the other pasties were what you'd expect. The coffee was good and I like that they have mugs to use. A TON of outdoor seating, so even though there was a families with a bunch of young boys, we could just pick a seat around the other side of the building and have a more serene experience.

Menu 1of 2

Just arrived in the area and stopped in for a quick lunch. I chose one of the items recommended by the waiter (Hunter), which was chicken with waffles. I was very impressed by the generous portion size and the freshness of all the ingredients. I will definitely come back and try a different dish next time.

What a great find while vacationing at Myrtle Beach! Intimate and colorful spot with amazing coffee, delicious dishes and walking distance from the Marriott Resort. I tried this place twice and it didn't disappoint. Shot out to Brent and Angeli for their attentive great service. Tip: don't fall asleep on the sticky buns. Try them asap!

This is our favorite breakfast in MB; we come every year. The interior is beautiful, the service is great, and we haven't had anything that we didn't like. We really liked our server, Taylor. We had the cinnamon bun minis, fried green tomatoes fried chicken benny, chicken and waffles, chicken salad croissant, tomato basil soup, and coffees. All fantastic. I'd definitely recommend getting anything with fried chicken. In the past, we've also had shrimp and grits which are delicious. The only thing that could've improved it is if the cinnamon bun minis were hot.

Turkey Pretzel Club with cheesy hashbrowns

Sharon A was fantastic. We never went without water and were checked on several times. The weather was so nice that we sat outside to enjoy our brunch. We had the turkey pretzel club, the ham and cheese omelette, a cinnamon roll, tropical smoothie and frozen coffee. The grits were the best I have ever had!

One of my new favorite breakfast and brunch restaurants in Myrtle Beach that was highly recommended by locals! My family and I loved our visit to Croissant's Bistro and Bakery. Featuring: Blood Orange Mimosa, Mini Cinnamon Rolls, Quiche Lorraine w/ cheesy grits, and Croque Madame with hashbrowns. Make sure to reserve your spot online if planning a weekend visit!

Ask the Community - Croissants Bistro & Bakery

Do we need reservations or can we just walk in?

As of a couple months ago they were taking reservations and walk ins. I would recommend reservations during busy times of the day, especially if you have a large party as they're a bustling place

Google Maps will be helpful as far as navigation. They have lots of free parking in a lot out front and the bakery counter is just down the main hallway entrance, on the left hand side of the hallway. It's just after the Fowler formal dining room. So, since it's student run, prices are reasonable and tax is included in every price/purchase. It's not open on Fridays or weekends, but is generally open 8 am to 4 pm Mon through Thurs. They do have some hallway seating available as well. And they do a limited selection of coffee drinks too. It's mostly sweet baked goods that are available and they offer both vegan and gluten free options too. Expect to see cookies, moon pies, possibly biscuits, chocolates, lots of pastries and maybe even a mini cheesecake or two. Seems like both students and professors work the counter and they will of course answer any questions you have regarding ingredients. I'd say on a typical morning they'll have a solid 25 to 35 different things you can potentially buy. I love that everything is made by students and that any profit they earn goes right back into their own culinary program. They don't really restock during the day, so its first come, first served and items like croissants and pain du chocolat can go quick. Both are very good and reasonably priced at 2 dollars each. They also rotate things in and out based on what they're working on in class...like one day they might have chocolate eclairs for sale, but the next day they don't. I've yet to see them offer donuts but they do plenty of chocolate items. One of my favorites is the death by brownie at 3 dollars. The chocolate mousse inside is sooo good. Moon pies are enormous and are like 2 to 3 bucks. Cookies like snickerdoodle, oatmeal, chocolate chunk, etc. are 50 cents each and are very good sized for that price. I did include pics of their case from my last visit, but I'm sorry for the poor quality. You can also look them up on Facebook and follow them as they sometimes do special events like a bbq fundraiser on a Saturday or custom order chocolates for Valentines Day. They'll also announce if they are going to be closed for a certain reason. These students are producing very good quality items at very good prices. They also do homemade breads on Thursdays after 2 PM only. Great stuff. Check them out, but keep it on the down low...I want my favorite items to still be there when I visit late in the day!!

But, I couldn't help using an exceptional exclamation to emphasize what an incredible discovery I had yesterday! I happened to find Leve on-line while looking for a baked treat nearby (I'm visiting Coastal Carolina University). Leve is tucked in an unusual spot, in more of an industrial zone (less than 5 minutes from CCU, just across 501). But, make no mistake, it is a quaint little shop that can boast of award winning scones (a huge variety of delicious flavors), croissants (the chocolate ones rival the best I tasted on a recent trip to Paris) and sourdough breads that will make you wish you had found Leve even sooner! Not to mention the personable, friendly and proud owners (the chefs themselves) who are only too happy to assist you and chat with you in between waves of customers (almost all who have discovered Leve through word of mouth)! Here's your chance to get in the know! I assure you that you will be back for more and telling your friends about Leve! Bon appetit!

I actually thought I walked into the wrong place because it looked so different. Assuming they noticed the confusion on my face, the owner says 'you must've been here on Saturday. We only have that selection of baked goods on Saturdays, if you watched the video it clearly explains that.' I was completely taken aback and to this day, have no idea what video he's referring to. I picked a couple items of whatever was available, then chose the olive garlic bread. As I said it out loud, the owner says 'it's OLIVES bread.' Embarrassed that I read the name from the label incorrectly, I again had no idea what he was talking about, it clearly states OLIVE GARLIC SOURDOUGH. He must've noticed my confusion again and explained how it's actual pieces of olives in the bread and not olive oil. I told him I knew it was olives and he said that some customers think it's 'olive oil'. Anyway, I spent $46 and probably won't return because I felt awful after that experience. It doesnt take away from the quality or taste of the products, but the professionalism was lacking.

They mostly have your standard breakfast fare along with some sandwiches. There are only a few tables, but they aren't cramped. You order at the counter and just take a seat, and your food and drinks will be served to you. I'd guess there's only two people working here on a random weekday. Expect your food to take a bit, but it's completely fresh, piping hot, and absolutely delicious. Portion sizes were large but balanced. I often can't finish sweet crepes due to getting sugar'd out. This one felt very focused on the fruit and allowing the Nutella to take a passenger, enhancing vibe instead. Omelette was cheese-central. I might ask for lighter cheese next time, but it was ridiculously delicious too. Croissants were SUPER light and fluffy, and they get served warm for you. Really tasty, perfectly baked. Bathroom was a single unisex room and older, but it was clean. Two booths that'll seat four people as well as multiple two-person tables with wooden, no-armed chairs. No stairs, and while it'd be a tight fit, a wheelchair could fit in here. (I don't think the bathroom is wheelchair accessible, though.) The guy running the place wasn't super friendly, but he wasn't *unfriendly*, and he was very efficient. He also popped in to see if we needed things and was there to deliver silverware and other things before we asked for them. If staff reads this: please replace/update the folded, faded paper signs on the outside of the building. That's part of why we haven't given this place a try in so long - and I'm sad we hadn't!
