Grand strand coffee was our favorite coffee stop on our Myrtle Beach vacation this summer. I'm literally still thinking about the pan van latte. The space is small and you could miss it but once inside it's quaint and not overcrowded which was a win! The service was friendly and the coffee is one I'd keep coming back to over and over. Cute little spot for quick breakfast and yummy coffee. It's was pretty busy when we arrived, but we were served fast...which is crazy because there were only 2 ladies working. They were great! The lavender haze latte was delicious, and the sausage cheddar and egg croissant hit the spot to start our day in Myrtle Beach. Come see them, and see why this spot has such a high rating. Cute little coffee shop convenient to the beach and resorts. It was a little busy and only a few workers so it did take a little long to get my drinks but they were extremely nice and had great service. Their specialty iced coffee were delicious. Perfect sweetness. I got a bag of the dark roast beans to brew at home and it was amazing. Will def go back and grab a few bags of beans when I'm back in Myrtle. read more

Cute little spot that had a great cappuccino for a rainy day. They also have some food items and baked goods as well as beans and humidors swag. The shop isn't big but there are a few indoor and outdoor seats, and it is a nice quiet spot for a book read with your beverage. Across the street is an extensive park so it is also a great place to pick up a hot coffee and go for a stroll. The staff were friendly and helpful and even got out some ice for us without asking (ordered a fizzy water to go with our cappuccinos). Good option for the area! read more

If you're new to pour over coffee, it takes a few more minutes. Freshly ground coffee! If you are in a true hurry, they have amazing already brewed coffee, chai selections, and the COLD BREW!! Loved finding this little spot by the Market Common tucked away. I don't know how I've missed this gem but it was a cute little spot and had some really creative options. The girls inside working were really great with helping me pick something and the cold brew shandy was awesome. They did warn me it's not for everyone but I love trying new things so this was a win. It was a mix between a lemonade and a cold brew and the acidity mix actually went quite well, taking away the bitterness of the black coffee and replacing it with a refreshing lemon. I personally enjoyed it, but nonetheless, a great little spot ! read more

I recently visited grand strand coffee, in market common and had a disappointing experience. While I had high hopes for their coffee, the service left much to be desired. The owner was quite rude when I requested a small adjustment to my order, -it was much too sweet is all. Instead of accommodating the change politely, she was very put out, and refused to acknowledge her tone or attitude to me. The young girl I had dealt with previously was so sweet and kind. But the owner of this business was anything but. It's unfortunate, as the coffee itself was decent, but the negative interaction overshadowed the experience. Good customer service can make or break a visit, and I left feeling unwelcome. In the future, I will be going to Tidal Creek brewhouse just across the road from them who offer a much more pleasant experience to the start of the day. -RESPONSE to the owners out right lie of a response. I did not come in looking for a fight. It was quite the opposite. I wanted to make sure that you were not frustrated (as you were acting very put out) even proceeded to tell me how to order in the future. And I am not the only person who has left to review about how rude you are to deal with. Your baristas are perfectly sweet, kind people. You on the other hand are a completely different story. That is a lie about never seeing me before. I know for a fact, you just had a barista recently quit to move to another state.. why lie? The barista behind the counter knows me and I've worked with her multiple times. and she even told you I had never had her fix a drink before today, when you asked me I have to have my drinks fixed often.... Guessing he felt bad?... wouldn't he have said something if he was tipping you for feeling bad?. My "guess" is he was tipping you for the food/drinks he got like most people do?... What an unprofessional thing to comment on. Unfortunately for you, your response clearly shows you are a hothead who does not value your customers. Where's the espresso ? I ordered a cinnamon honey latte with oat milk. What I received was a brown colored steamed cinnamon honey oat milk. Save yourself the disappointment and just go to Somewhere else. As much as I like to support small business, this is one I will not return to. Also order a lemon pound cake that tasted at least a day old, it wasn't worth the calories to continue eating. read more

I always try to find a local coffee house during my travels. After not finding much in the area, I found Grand Strand and decided to give it a try. Strand is located in what seems to be a newer part of the area. I easily found parking along a street that had other small shops and eats. Strand is def local and seems to be family-run. I THINK the owner came in while I was there. Not really a place to hang out and work. There was no obvious wifi available and not all tables were accessible because of the set up and size of the space. Outside there are more tables. The coffee and quiche were decent. So why 3 stars? While I know that working these kinds of jobs are not the best for every young person, there were a few times that the staff were talking bad about customers and there were a few other topics that I am sure they would not want everyone to hear. I think they forgot that I was sitting in the room. Again, not terrible, but they just need to be aware that anyone can hear anything in the space. read more

She explained this is called a macchiato. We also ordered an Americano which had 4 shots of espresso. Pros: espresso has a good taste but strong - which is a plus for me. Cons: parking was tough. Highly highly highly recommend this place! I got the cinnamon honey latte decaf and with oat milk and it was so delicious! My sister got a hot chocolate with whipped cream even though it is hot as hell outside but she said it was very yummy. We also tried the cinnamon muffins which were super messy but delicious. This is by far the best tasting coffee I've found in all of Myrtle. They actually roast their beans well and put thought and care into it. The owner knows the farmers they get the beans from apparently and visits there (in Peru I think). 4 stars because the shop is small and not much more to it. The food choices are basic but tasty, nothing crazy. Everyone says Beach Hippe is the best but all I've had there are watery tasting lattes and no flavor coffees. I think people love it there for vast array of sugary flavored dessert lattes they make. If that's what you're looking for, this is not it. If you want a well roasted cup or coffee or latte, nothing fancy but actual good coffee than this is your place. read more

A Myrtle Beach gem! Stopped in and was absolutely amazed at the Cold Brew Shandy. Like lemonade and coffee? It shouldn't work but it absolutely does. We talked with the guy behind the counter & he told us all about their process of getting the unique drink just right. It was so good we had to order a second!
