Café Duet is such a gem! We stopped in on a Sunday morning and spent $33.66 (including tip) on a really memorable breakfast. Our order: a carrot Morning Glory muffin, a breakfast sandwich (two organic eggs, grilled Spanish chorizo, sharp cheddar, baby arugula, and sriracha mayo on a fresh-baked roll), a HUGE chocolate milk, a mocha latte, and some spreadable cashew cheese to-go. The café itself is tiny--just enough space to place or pick up orders--but it's full of eclectic charm. There are a few tables out front, some indoor seating, and a hidden garden patio in the back that makes it feel like a secret hangout spot. The vibe is funky, cozy, and very "local favorite." The staff were super friendly, which made the experience even better. The food was fantastic! The muffin was moist, flavorful, and big enough to split. The breakfast sandwich was perfectly portioned for two, with that warm, lightly toasted roll stealing the show alongside the chorizo and sharp cheddar. The chocolate milk was rich and perfectly chocolaty, and the cashew cheese spread was salty, nutty, and delicious on crackers. We sat outside on the sidewalk café tables and watched the town slowly wake up around us. Between the great food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the little details that make it special, it's easy to see why locals recommend Café Duet as a "must try." We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

It's been over 6 years since I have been here!?! Well, I am glad it is just as great as I remembered. A noted change, order at the register and then sit at an available seat. This time I tried the Roasted Mushroom with Smoked Gruyere croissant sandwich with an egg for added protein. Delicious! I washed it down with fresh brewed cold black tea. Definitely still a great spot with fast and friendly service.

Cafe Duet is a quaint coffee shop in the Pocono area that serves up a great cup of mocha latte and americano. My hot mocha latte (oatmilk, half decaf) was made perfectly. The coffee to milk ratio was good and the chocolate flabor was not too overpowering- it still tasted like a latte and not hot chocolate. It wasn't watered down, and was still rich and creamy. The americano was a good cup- straight to the point and robust. We also had the banana nut bread and the pistachio-cranberry-white mocha chip biscotti. Both pastries were pretty good. Some tables had ordered hot food like waffles and soups, which looked pretty good and we might try this place out for a snack or breakfast in the future. Interior is pretty with plants, a record player playing jazz, and clean tables and chairs. Service is friendly, interior is old world charm, coffee and pastries are great. Public parking, ccs, Apple Pay. Public metered parking. Would recommend!

Cute and casual cafe in the center of town. Love the interior decoration and lots of open seating for a Sunday morning. I got a chai latte with oat milk which was very disappointing. The consistency was watery and did not taste good. I did enjoy the Pink Avocado Toast. Ingredients seemed fresh and I loved the taste! Service was friendly and fairly quick. Would come back to try other food items but not lattes or specialty drinks.

Omg the dulce Bundt cake! Why isn't anyone talking about this, we were on our way to poconos and stopped in for a hot drink because we were just so cold and I had a sore throat. I was driving through town with a few friends and was craving something wholesome, sweet, and robust, so I turned to good ol' Yelp to help me out. I came across Café Duet, and based on the reviews and pictures, I immediately knew this place would quench my craving. The food here is absolutely mouthwatering and will leave you yearning for more. What a surprise! A wonderful 3rd wave coffee shop in Stroudsburg. This must be the best cappuccino and Espresso in miles. Daniel the owner is super nice and passionate about what he's doing and it shows. Never mind S'bucks if you really dig great Italian style coffee. La Marzocco & Mazzer - need I say more? We stopped into this adorable Little shop on our way out of Stroudsburg, the coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is absolutely wonderful. It has a very rustic feel and the staff was very friendly. It is a small shop and only room for one barista behind the counter, if you have the extra time the wait it worth it! read more

Best little coffee shop I've ever been too. We happened upon this place while on vacation in the area and stopped in almost every day! The coffee is super fresh and the prices are incredibly reasonable! I wish this place was closer to home, I'd be here every day! We had the sandwiches for lunch and loved this hip little place. Wonderful backyard garden for outdoor dining. Will bring friends back for more. I had the avocado toast and the avocado and hummus sandwich while my friends had the mushroom and gruyère, and another sandwich with iced coffee and chai. Yum! The sandwich I had was Gluten Free vegan and it was so good! Wish it was in my hometown! Well done guys! Barista was helpful and kind. We had a fantastic experience at Cafe Duet. My wife and I were visiting the Poconos for the weekend and we stopped by Cafe Duet with our dog to grab lunch. We sat in the back yard area, and as it turned out, our dog decided to eat half of my egg salad sandwich off the table. Our waitress could not have been more gracious about it. In fact, she replaced the missing half sandwich without me asking. My wife had the avocado toast and it was delicious. Really great service and food! I recommend you check out Cafe Duet. read more

What a cute take out experience! We walked up to the window and while we were greeted it by a cheerful young lady that took our order and even offered recommendations. That apple salad is not to be overlooked! The Rosemary yogurt dressing was to die for, as we're all the components in the salad. The coffee was good and the banana bread is highly recommended! They don't have syrups for their coffee which made me instantly like them! But they do offer plant based milks. Their cold brew while nothing special is solid. But really what you should go there for is their sandwiches! I'm not a big sandwich person but I was curious when I saw a pastrami and kimchi sandwich on the menu. It was sooooooo good that I had to go back and try more. The mushroom and gruyere on a croissant was also amazing! And to really test how good their sandwiches, the last time I just went with a basic ham and cheese and it was also delicious! They use quality ingredients and keep the sandwiches simple with only a handful of ingredients. It looks like they mix up their sandwich offerings each month, too bad I don't live around here to visit more. Portions were a good size - both meat sandwiches I only ate half there and half later. The staff were friendly and nice. The cafe itself is very cute and clean with both indoor and outdoor seating. I would highly recommend stopping in for a nice lunch! read more

I was in Poconos last week and went to this place for breakfast, this place took me by surprise by their vegan sandwich . That amount of beetroot I could have never eaten, what a tasty , yum vegan sandwich. If you are around this place do try their sandwiches, my friends tool other sandwiches in the menu and even they loved those. read more

Had the best lunch with my husband today. I had the ham and cheese sandwich (toasted) with a cappuccino & my husband had the hot soppressata sandwich with a hoy chocolate, both sandwiches were amazing and filling. We also tried the banana nut bread which was delicious. Loved the vibe of this place, super cozy and very welcoming staff. I definitely recommend. First time at Cafe Duet, traveling through after our stay in Delaware Water Gap. Staff was super helpful, the space is gorgeous (Check out their outdoor patio!) And the food...omg. My boyfriend and I got two mushroom and gruyere sandwiches on homemade - to die for - croissants. They came out on cute little cutting board 'plates'. My iced tea was super fresh and flavorful. We also got 2 sundried tomato and spinach scones and they were moist and memorable. 10/10 would come back! Highly recommend. read more

Great post hike stop in Stroudsburg with fresh food and great iced tea. Nice shaded patio out back makes for a perfect summer sit down and parking was not difficult on a Sunday afternoon. Enjoyed the avocado hummus sandwich as well as the savory mushroom gruyere on a croissant. Would go back for sure. read more

if you are on a road trip, Cafe Duet is worth getting off the highway for a little break! Ample space with lots of tables. It felt like you're at someone's home and allowed to roam free. I had a beat salad and an avocado, sprouts and hummus sandwich. The salad was sweet with balsamic vinegar, and crunchy with cabbage, carrots and walnuts. The sandwich was very creative and I loved their rye bread. Both were seasoned just right (I don't like salty food) and definitely healthy. read more

So happy we decided to stop here before our drive back home after a weekend away. I got a latte with a biscotti and my husband got a red eye and the breakfast sandwich. Both were delicious! Amazing little cafe! I love visiting coffee shops wherever I go and so when I stayed in the Poconos I had to stop by. At first the place seems tiny but when you walk into the back it opens up with LOTS of seating indoors and out. The garden out back is lovely with plenty of shade and plants and little tables. They use Stumptown coffee which is some of my favorite! Would definitely recommend this place! Hopefully next time I'll come hungry and try a sandwich.. read more

My favorite place to go when I come up to PA! The atmosphere of the place is awesome. Never had issues with the service. They have an indoor and outdoor seating area (which is closed now due to Covid). Coffee is top-notch and the food is always fresh and tasty. read more

The food was good but I can't remember the last time I was treated so rudely! As we were walking in an employee was clearly frustrated that she couldn't get out the door and sighed as she said something like..."Are you all in now?" She then continued huffing and showing her exasperation as we ordered. Later, when we were seated- she tried to get in the bathroom and a customer was in there. She said..." There is always f- ing people in the bathroom". On our way out the door we asked if there was recycling and she quickly said..."I'll take it." We came here for breakfast and absolutely LOVED the food and atmosphere at Cafe Duét! I ordered the classic waffle with an iced coffee and my boyfriend ordered the breakfast sandwich with a cold brew. We were able to sit on their patio- it was a homey, intimate little spot with tons of greenery. Our food and coffees were amazing and the staff was very nice. After some shopping my daughter and I stopped at cafe duet for lunch. I have never been here before. From the outside it appeared inviting. We ordered the broccoli rabe and mozzarella sandwich and the vegan rainbow sandwich. The restaurant was very busy. We sat and the food arrived in less than ten minutes. Both sandwiches looked inviting. We were very happy with the taste and texture. I would definitely return. read more

When you go to a cafe you expect a little more attention is being paid to the offerings. I could have had the same tasting meal at any diner in the area. I would have liked to see more of a coffee menu. For a cafe I'd expect some more options than latte, mocha, espresso, macchiato and americano. There's nothing different or special about those. I had the corned beef hash. It really had no flavor of corned beef at all. Someone else in my party had it too and said the same thing. It was just ok. Service: it was fine. No complaints or anything to write home about. Everyone was friendly and inviting when we walked in right at opening. It's been several years since we've been here and it definitely has changed in terms of food quality unfortunately.

My wife has food, allergies, and they went overboard, accommodating her every request. I had the clam chowder which was a 10 followed by a roast beef sandwich, another 10, followed by strawberry ice cream, hot fudge with bananas and whipped cream. Absolutely wonderful. Today…read morethough - Alana leveled a baseless accusation against me claiming I cursed at her on the street (for transparency, there was a mishap with Grubhub which had me waiting an extra 45 minutes and needing to pick up the order instead... I wasn't ecstatic and all smiles obviously but there was no confrontation and certainly no profanity. In fact, as Alana was walking away after giving me my bags, she was the one angrily grumbling some nonsense under her breath, raising her arms, and venting her annoyance as if I had no right to be frustrated with the situation, which is really why she made up the lie to begin with: entitlement). The owner Angel then gave me a "courtesy" call to tell me how she did not appreciate this, how horrible my mistreatment of Alana was, how "not right" it was, and how she especially did not appreciate all of the profanities. She claimed that my issue was with Grubhub and not them. (I found that "courtesy" call amusing, she had time for this call but not enough for a courtesy call to let me know my food was waiting for 45 minutes under a lamp). I immediately called back after I saw the accusation on my voicemail transcript, vehemently denied it and asked her to tell me exactly what profanity was used. I heard her ask Alana while I was on the phone. I also asked over speakerphone. Of course Alana had no response - she muttered something along the lines "oh so much has happened in the last hour I just can't remember". That's because it was all a lie designed to make herself a victim. It was just her entitlement at work - she was mad and thought of a way to get back at me by making up a lie. I'm sure this has worked in the past for her. It may work in the future. She should be fired for making up such an egregious lie really, but based on the "courtesy" call I feel Angel is likely supportive of these sorts of tactics. Alana felt she could easily accuse the big bad man of verbal abuse with profanity and everyone would just believe her - and they did for a while. While I understand Angel standing up for her staff, she did so with absolutely no evidence. How on Earth can you leave some long chastising voicemail on someone's phone accusing them of cursing at a woman on the street and you didn't check for video, and don't even know exactly what was said? Alana is actually a dangerous person - to make a false accusation like this against a grown man with a family is absolutely insane. Parents, keep your sons away from this person! This is a girl who needs to be seeing a therapist or something. Imagine how nuts you have to be to make up a story about a customer then watch your boss call them knowing you lied. I haven't been accused of anything since like 2nd grade. Bizarre situation. No apology from the owner when it was exposed as a lie. Very immature, absolutely vile behavior.
