Good service, good homestyle breakfast. Pretty busy when we arrived but we were seated fairly quickly. No real complaints?

Alright, there are really only five things you need to keep in mind here: 1. Cash only - yes there is an ATM next to the register up front 2. On face value, the prices are a bit on the steep side 3. They are not shy at all about portion sizes which ties into point #2 4. The menu is also on the larger side 5. Breakfast and lunch only every day from 8-2:45 Past that, what else matters? This place isn't reinventing the epicurean wheel but what they do offer is excellently fast service and straight ahead non-pretentious basics. All things considered (past having a few too many flies inside) exactly what you expect from a place like this. Perfect.

We have been coming to the Poconos for many years and never got the chance to stop here for eggs jn the pan. We stopped this morning and i am so glad we did. The food was great especially the bacon. If you get the home fries, be sure to get them with onions. Service is very good and the staff is friendly. Note that this is a cash only establishment.

The inside of this place was very cute! They had so many collections of pig figures in every corner/side of the store which made me having fun looking at them while waiting for the food. We ordered the breakfast combo, omelette, pork sausage with homemade gravy. Home fries were bland (but you eat it with ketchup anyways) but other than that everything tasted good. Homemade gravy was something that I could only found from here and it is definitely a must-try. The server lady was nice as well, she offered to substitute and adjust our order when we were having a hard time compromising the orders. I was just visiting this area but if I get a chance to go back, I will be glad to eat here again.

There was no wait on a Saturday morning even though the place was packed. The menu is extensive but we ordered a breakfast sandwich and sausage biscuits and gravy. Food took awhile to come out but was delicious. CASH ONLY!

Save money from these resorts & come have a delicious like home breakfast. Loved all the pig decor all over it was cute. I was surprised by how big it was inside, plenty of room for all of us "out of towners." We ordered OJ, chocolate milk, kids silver dollar pancakes (the kids split and they still didn't eat all of them!!), egg sandwich, pancakes. I could have probably actually split the silver dollar pancakes with the kids to be totally honest lol. Lots of food, very good and the price was great. Our server was friendly and fast. My goodness she was running. I would definitely come back here. We all enjoyed our breakfast.

Really yummy place!! Janet was a sweetheart! Pancakes were homemade I'm sure, they had a vanilla taste to them. They serve everything in the pans, that's very unique. Parking lot is small but we got lucky and 1 spot was open. Very busy but we were seated quickly. Coffee was tasty!

I did it the first day and good was awful. So I looked to a good place to eat outside the Resort. So I found Barley Creek Restaurant. Katie was our waiter for the Saturday morning breakfast. The breakfast was amazing! And the service impeccable! I have never eaten such a good breakfast at such a good price in a vacation location. We came back for dinner the same day. They were packed and looked overwhelmed with the amount of customers. There was a 45min wait time but is was worth it. Just a little hiccup with the special ST Patrick special dish, the Hawaiian Walu, that came with orzo instead of risotto but the chef himself cane out of the kitchen apologizing and bringing to my wife a properly cooked risotto. Very professional and very much appreciated. The manager was very helpful again when my sons burgers came with the wrong cheese, and she took care of it herself! Thank you very much for a great experience! We will be back at lunch on Sunday. We really want to try out the lunch menu before leaving the Resort. Great job! Exceptional restaurant!

There's a drink to-go section and a gift shop section. The bar is a decent size. The ipa is good. The Strawberry Rose drink is not great. Would not order again. Menu said 7.50 but we were charged $11 for it. It's non-alcoholic. Sooo not worth it. Definitely do not recommend it. To start, we ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Burger. It's $22 and SO worth it. It's juicy and flavorful. This is the best cheesesteak burger we have had! Better than most cheesesteak sandwiches lol. Would definitely order again. The potatoes were also good / like potato chips. Nicely salted. For a dessert type dish - we ordered the Oreo stuffed French toast. We would not order this again nor recommend. It did not look like the pictures displayed around (of course!). The Oreo part of it was delicious. The French toast itself was on the dry side and tough to cut through / figure like cutting through stale bread. Otherwise, it would have been delicious. Did not need syrup as it was definitely sweet enough already. Our server, Tony, was very friendly, social, and attentive. Great service. 10/10 I also ended up buying a sweatshirt. It caught my eye lol. Next time we're in the area, we would try the French Onion Burger. :) And maybe some brunch items.

We ordered their salmon with a side of mashed potatoes and broccoli, Chicken Française with a side of potato wedges, a side salad, Grilled cheeses with french fries for the kids, tuna melt, cheese curds, and a sandwich off their special menu I can't remember the name. The sandwiches came with bagged kettle cooked chips! I wasn't able to picture everything because everyone had mostly scoffed their food down immediately. Lol. Definitely recommend their brownie sundae for dessert, with their Double Dunker ice cream! SO GOOD! I also included a video of one of our rowdy kiddos having a good time with her food! Super worth it dining experience, I will say there is absolutely no signal to use your cellphone, so more family bonding haha. This place is amazing and would definitely come back.

I've come back while driving through just for that chicken sandwich. Unfortunately we were traveling with it and I asked them to separate all the items for us and they did not. Would have been nice to reconstruct it ourselves and not have a soggy sandwich when we got to our destination. Much better to eat immediately so make sure you do that. I would have to say space is limited and the placement of the furniture makes it hard to dine in. It was very interesting because there were parties smaller than us and they all seemed cramped as well. We sat at the corner table right when you walk in on the left, we all had to sit on the bench because the circular table in the middle of the space blocked us from sitting on the other side of our table. It was very awkward because it was hard for our party to get out and the other table was full and wasn't being helpful by scooching a bit haha. I would recommend the food here but only if you're in a small party and looking for a quick bite.

The ambiance was overall welcoming, not noisy at all with the kids inflatables, and rock climbing next to cafe..Keep in mind, I was there this past Sunday after 4 pm. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and in my opinion went above and beyond. The cafe side had cute, charsmatic signs, by the front area , near the register. Later, found out the story with there meaning, from chatting with the owner. Farm to fresh, everything made from scratch, food and bake goods. I ordered the 3 egg omlet, your choice of meat and veggies, came with home fries and toast. To go, I ordered the pierogi's; little different then I'm used too, as I am Polish. They even had a full size kitchen, where the omlet was one of the best. These pierogi's had cheddar cheese onion and green pepper. They were still filling and tasty, and decent size.Overall, yet another memorable, delicious experience for me supporting a local business. I'm sure it can get busy at times with mix of parties, kids and the cafe. Step out of the ordinary cafe, dining experience, and do stop in; you won't be sorry. The owner was a pleasure to chat with, and would stop back in ,when in town for food again. We always felt like there was a lot of space to unwind and relax when we were in our room. We were offered the Fall menu when we were there. On day 1 I had the apple crumble French toast (AMAZING) and I'm not even a big French toast guy. Your table has fresh orange juice, water, and coffee/tea when you come down and get seated. Loved this. On day 2 I had the traditional breakfast and enjoyed it thoroughly. The staff was friendly and accommodating - as expected from a well run B&B. We were on site for a small gathering of gamer friends and so I also tried some of their offerings in the small cafe. I tried Italian wedding soup for lunch and got several hot tea drinks. All excellent. They have a small "snack room" near the main entrance that has popcorn, and water, coffee maker, and other small amenities to make your stay more enjoyable.
