Café Duet is such a gem! We stopped in on a Sunday morning and spent $33.66 (including tip) on a really memorable breakfast. Our order: a carrot Morning Glory muffin, a breakfast sandwich (two organic eggs, grilled Spanish chorizo, sharp cheddar, baby arugula, and sriracha mayo on a fresh-baked roll), a HUGE chocolate milk, a mocha latte, and some spreadable cashew cheese to-go. The café itself is tiny--just enough space to place or pick up orders--but it's full of eclectic charm. There are a few tables out front, some indoor seating, and a hidden garden patio in the back that makes it feel like a secret hangout spot. The vibe is funky, cozy, and very "local favorite." The staff were super friendly, which made the experience even better. The food was fantastic! The muffin was moist, flavorful, and big enough to split. The breakfast sandwich was perfectly portioned for two, with that warm, lightly toasted roll stealing the show alongside the chorizo and sharp cheddar. The chocolate milk was rich and perfectly chocolaty, and the cashew cheese spread was salty, nutty, and delicious on crackers. We sat outside on the sidewalk café tables and watched the town slowly wake up around us. Between the great food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the little details that make it special, it's easy to see why locals recommend Café Duet as a "must try." We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

It's been over 6 years since I have been here!?! Well, I am glad it is just as great as I remembered. A noted change, order at the register and then sit at an available seat. This time I tried the Roasted Mushroom with Smoked Gruyere croissant sandwich with an egg for added protein. Delicious! I washed it down with fresh brewed cold black tea. Definitely still a great spot with fast and friendly service.

Cafe Duet is a quaint coffee shop in the Pocono area that serves up a great cup of mocha latte and americano. My hot mocha latte (oatmilk, half decaf) was made perfectly. The coffee to milk ratio was good and the chocolate flabor was not too overpowering- it still tasted like a latte and not hot chocolate. It wasn't watered down, and was still rich and creamy. The americano was a good cup- straight to the point and robust. We also had the banana nut bread and the pistachio-cranberry-white mocha chip biscotti. Both pastries were pretty good. Some tables had ordered hot food like waffles and soups, which looked pretty good and we might try this place out for a snack or breakfast in the future. Interior is pretty with plants, a record player playing jazz, and clean tables and chairs. Service is friendly, interior is old world charm, coffee and pastries are great. Public parking, ccs, Apple Pay. Public metered parking. Would recommend!

Cute and casual cafe in the center of town. Love the interior decoration and lots of open seating for a Sunday morning. I got a chai latte with oat milk which was very disappointing. The consistency was watery and did not taste good. I did enjoy the Pink Avocado Toast. Ingredients seemed fresh and I loved the taste! Service was friendly and fairly quick. Would come back to try other food items but not lattes or specialty drinks.

Omg the dulce Bundt cake! Why isn't anyone talking about this, we were on our way to poconos and stopped in for a hot drink because we were just so cold and I had a sore throat. But let's just go back to that Bundt cake, delicious I can't even explain perfection on here but you get it. The hot chocolate was heavenly too. My husband and I were in the area for a long weekend and wanted a good cup of coffee. We read the reviews and decided to give Cafe Duet a try for breakfast. It's a small quaint spot. Their coffee was great and their home-made granola with yogurt was delicious and so were the sandwiches. read more

First time I stopped in was because there was a farmer's market going on right outside. They won me over instantly with their vintage decor. Also D'Angelo was playing on vinyl! A variety of records are always playing. The staff (owner included) are very friendly. It's definitely my go-to spot for chai tea, soup, or a snack... plus supporting a local small business is always great! read more

Excellent food and atmosphere! Was driving to the Poconos with friends and pulled in for brunch. Very cute area in the town, charming aesthetics and great coffee. We all ordered something different and couldn't decide which was our favorite after trying each others' meals. Owner and staff were very friendly, and place was clean. Easily my favorite cafe in town. All the coffee is single-source and the Baristas are knowledgeable and friendly. All of the baked goods are fresh, and the menu is eclectic, with a little of something for anyone. The in-house record player and rustic feel of this little mom-and-pop place provide a lovely brunch atmosphere. It's a little pricey, but worth your time and money. read more

Cute cafe on an attractive square in a town that's seen far better days. Nice backyard for enjoying a latte. Friendly if slow service. My $11 tuna sandwich, however, contained about $2 worth of ingredients, and was both dry and horribly overpriced. read more

Some of the greatest homemade soup I've ever had. All of the girls behind the counter are great as well! I work on Main Street in Stroudsburg and try to stop at this place for lunch when I can, but I would definitely recommend making a stop here if you're anywhere in the area! read more

Lots of fun enclaves to hang out in, each with a slightly different vibe. Cute outdoor patio tables under the trees, deck tables, and different types of indoor spots. Potted flowers and herbs to decorate. Mostly sandwiches and salads, tasty savory scones, biscotti, muffins, short bread, and the full range of coffee drinks plus chai. read more

Eclectic music is great. All coffee choices are superb. The best tuna Mediterranean sandwich I've had. And sweets were just right. Our only recommendation is to remodel the interior. So the interior design goes in tune with the great taste. read more

A gem! Found Cafe Duet thru a Yelp search and were thoroughly impressed. We got a savory scone (they had 3 to choose from), yogurt & granola, baked eggs, Americano coffee, and a latte. Very flavorful and satisfying. Don't let the crowded front area where they take your order put you off; they had plenty of seating for a Saturday morning. Bonus: the weekly farmers market is right out their front door. read more

Stopped here on a whim while road-tripping with my husband and toddler. Looked a little pricey, but usually when we travel we alternate between cheap chains and some nicer privately owned businesses, so took a chance on coffee and a late breakfast. Did not disappoint! Chill atmosphere, awesome savory scone for the kid, and amazing breakfast sandwiches for us. $7 is totally worth it for 2 eggs, chorizo, arugula, massive bun, and plenty of cheese. Well seasoned, quick to arrive, and good coffee to boot. We were happy that we could buy a bag of coffee beans to take on the road with us too, from a local roaster. If we ever end up in Stroudsburg again we would definitely stop. read more

Such a nice treat! I was in town for business and in need of a quick and portable lunch, so I walked up to Duet. I ordered an iced coffee and the tuna salad over greens, and both were right on target. Coffee was the perfect strength, and had nice flavor. The tuna salad is not mayo-based, but rather has peppers and olives with a balsamic dressing. It was well-balanced (not overly salty despite the olives) and the greens served with it were fresh and crisp. The staff was very friendly and service was quick. Great little spot off the main drag. Loved the music selections all played with vinyl records on a turntable. Still has its own unhomogenized sound quality. Friendly Barista who helped provide some good riding tips for our bike ride. Also makes an excellent cappuccino with skilled art work. Sandwiches were good, but I did think the egg salad was a bit overpowered with the chopped olives. Just my taste of course. The place has a comfortable homey feel that I really enjoyed. read more

We always make a point of stopping in this cute coffee shop when we drive from Michigan to NYC. The coffee is perfect and as you can see, the barista is talented. The cakes and pastries are homemade and the croissant is the best outside of Paris.... France! Check out the mushroom and gruyere croissant lunch and delicious soups. read more

I stumbled upon Cafe Duet after having a not-so-great coffee at the hotel. The coffee was amazing, just like my usual at Stumptown coffee I get in NYC. Sandwiches' ingredients are fresh and selections are good! The room in the back has toys, crayons and papers for kids to enjoy. I will be stopping by here every time I visit the area. read more

Wonderful experience! We were a large party (10 with 2 kids and a baby) and the staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating . Between us we had just about all the sandwiches and at least one of the salads on the menu and everything was delicious . The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The eggs were a deep yellow so I knew it was the truth. If you go, definitely order the biscuits and the mimosa flight. The biscuits comes with 4 different spreads (fig jam, peach butter, strawberry butter, and a brown sugar butter). The biscuits were a good size, and my favorite spread was the fig jam. I wish I could have put some in a jar. The mimosa flight flavors are so fun. I was not a fan of the soursop but the lychee and passionfruit are really good. For the main dish, we tried the chicken & waffle and the tres leches French toast. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and was crispy. The French toast was actually on a croissant. The staff was turning the store over from Halloween to Christmas when we visited but were still friendly and welcoming.
