They were recently spotlighted by Channel 13 as part of their Friday Flavor segment. It was a no brainer that we stopped by to give them a try. When we walked in, we were both greeted by the staff of two behind the counter. It's a very small cafe with two tables for up to 6 people, a small round table for two and a bar table area. Everything was clean and spotless with decor all over. A welcoming spot for all that comes in. We ordered right at the counter upon walking in. My choice of beverage was a medium sized Forget Me Not (sure it was named after the song from Patrice Rushen) served iced. It's a cinnamon latte with whole milk (my choice) and sea salted caramel toffee. Also, I ordered a sausage and egg croissant and a cheese danish pastry to eat. Everything was really good. All the ingredients for the beverage came together. A little strong, but not too sweet. And the croissant sandwich and pastry really helped myself become full for the morning. If we are back in the area we will definitely come back for the coffee and vibes. The inside is beautiful and a really chill place. It was clean inside and the couches were comfy. I had also purchased a coffee cake. I wasn't able to find silverware anywhere and had to request for one. To my surprise, when t trying to eat it, it wasn't soft but kind of stiff and hard to put my fork through to get a bite. Kind of disappointing but the flavor was still there. I sent my entire meal back but still paid for coffee and the side of bacon (and my sons' meals of waffles and French toast). I didn't want mine remade. Still cost me nearly 50 dollars for this trash, and no offer to make it right other than removing exactly what I sent back. My other and more serious concern is food safety. IF they ARE cooking this ahead and storing it in a way that leaves it cold or room temp, bacteria is a big concern. I'm typing this from the toilet and my stomach is going through it right now.
