Great place! Great vibe! We came right after what should have been the morning breakfast rush but while it was still moderately busy... everything was clean and tidy. Our server ( whose name on the ticket was Cheyenne, Go Cowboys! ) was cheerful and attentive. She made fresh coffee for Wife Unit with a casual charm that barely hid her hustle. Young lady was on top of things! Wife Unit had the Big Chuck breakfast and I got the Greek Breakfast bowl and a half order of biscuits and gravy. Wife Unit said hers was "Yummy!", I said mine was something just as positive but more masculine. The Greek Bowl had a lot of unusual textures and flavors for a breakfast meal but it was great. We will definitely come back to scratch that breakfast/brunch itch.... Maybe even try the lunch menu. read more

Service was welcoming, personal and warm from the matriarch of this family business. Ambiance is casual and inviting. I ordered the Greek omelet. I'd give 3.5 for dry omelet which I normally prefer fluffy and thick. The gyro needed some kind of sauce. I alternatively used catsup but doesn't quite go with the gyro. People recommended the shrimp and grits and their breakfast bowls. I will have to go back to try. read more

A friend and I decided to meet at this new eatery for an impromptu lunch. The eatery is open Mon thru Friday for breakfast and lunch and closes at 3:30. On entering several tables were full but I grabbed a table and ordered an unsweet tea. The tea was nicely brewed and I enjoyed a glass and a refill. I decided to try the cheesy shrimp and grits because I have had that dish recently at other places. The dish arrived steaming hot in a sort of gumbo like presentation. The taste was a bit Cajun and the grits creamy. My friend chose the Mama Mary breakfast and ate every morsel! The owners checked on us and service was attentive but not intrusive. The food came out quickly and was fresh. The environment was very clean with a bit of an industrial vibe. The restrooms were very clean and the entire eatery was quickly bussed and readied for customers. We sat and chilled for awhile since no one was waiting for our table. We were enthusiastically thanked as we left. I have a big heart for small locally owned businesses and 134 certainly fills a niche in providing this eatery in this location. It seems a steady stream of customers have already found what I just wandered into. More people should follow my lead! The food is nicely prepared and I'd love to see if they can add something sweet to the menu to top off the meal or to enjoy with coffee or that nicely brewed iced tea. read more

Today we went to 134 Grille for the first time and ate there for breakfast. The atmosphere is very welcoming. The staff is friendly and attentive. Portions are very generous. My husband had their breakfast bowl. He said the bacon is thick and tastes wonderful. Eggs were cooked perfect as asked- medium, no runny whites! The sausage gravy was delicious. I had a cheese omelet which was cooked fluffy! so light and delicious. Also had their potatoes and onions. They are lightly seasoned, just right. The biscuits are also light and fluffy. Not dense and heavy, not crumbling everywhere. Just perfect. We eyeballed the lunch menu and we will be back to try that too! Looks delicious! a must try! This did not disappoint at all! This is our new favorite family owned restaurant for breakfast/brunch. Ever since the diner close to our home closed down, we've had trouble finding another place that we love. 134 Grille is our new place now. They great food and service. When they served me real butter, I knew they care about quality. The bacon is very good, not cheap stuff served in other diners, same with the sausage. I always ask for breakfast potatoes to be well done, and they get them perfect, nice and caramelized. The restaurant is small, so you may have to wait if they're busy, but they are totally worth it! read more
