The veggie omelette, espresso, tea & apple danish was delicious! They have beautiful handmade candies too! The service was great as well!

I visited this little cafe in the early afternoon and got a little dessert. The gentleman behind the counter, the owner, speaks 7 languages and all of them well. He speaks English and German, of course, and is very sweet. We got chocolate cake and a milkshake like dessert that was yummy, with chocolate and coffee. Unfortunately, I did not make note of what it was called, but there's a picture below. I highly recommend their ice cream, it's some of the best we had on this street while we were here, and pairs very well with the giant pretzels that are ALL over this area.

An excellent little cafe for a quiet Sunday brunch. Omelettes were done perfectly. We ate indoors, where all the other customers were speaking German, which gave us confidence in its authenticity. Efficient, friendly service.

Hands down the best apple strudel in Salzburg (and beyond). Tastes hommade! We find the staff is always friendly with us. Thank you!

There's actually more seating behind the bar if you go around. The menu is extensive from breakfast foods to decadent desserts! I came here mainly for the nockerl and it takes 30 minutes to prepare. I also ordered an americano and apple strudel. Our waitress, Alexandra, was very nice and attentive. She had to bring another table for the presentation! She also made sure I had time to photography the nockerl. It did not disappoint! It was fluffy and I love the berry cream and the ice cream that came with! It was just the perfect amount of sweetness and definitely worth a try! The apple strudel was bathed in vanilla cream (you can also get it with ice cream). It was flaky and warm. I love the cream it came in! Everything was fabulous! Many people came in to order desserts from the display! Thank you for a lovely breakfast. I enjoyed sitting there relaxing while enjoying the delicious foods!

Looks like most of the locals get cappuccinos, hard boiled eggs & some kind of bread with cold cuts & some veggies. I got the semilina porridge (Grieß-Porridge) which is equivalent to what Americans might call 'Cream of Wheat'. It came with fresh jam & was very tasty. I also ordered the Ham, cheese and salami with bread side (Schinken, Käse, Salami) and an iced latte. All were yummy. I wish I had more time to go back there to try some of their desserts.. they looked yummy!

Nice little cafe close to where mozart Was born. Kind of…read moreFamous as they have branches all over vienna. Easy to find and get a table. This branch is the Salzburg one. They offer lots of traditional vienna cafe fare and desserts. Service is quick, nice, and easy. We ordered the schnitzel and spaghetti bolognese. ( forgot to take picts for some reason - maybe bec we have been eating vienna food lately. But we also ordered the 2 most famous desserts in vienna. 1. The salzburger nockerl and the viennese apple strudel. The salzburger nockerl is not ny any means a dessert burger. Think of it as a soufflé. It has 3 mountain peaks, to pay homage to 3 famous peaks in salzburg. And of course, the famous apple strudel with vanilla sauce. Both are insanely out of this world., specially the strudel. The soufflé was one of the best ive ever tasted. full- bodied. Airy and soft. Silky smooth. And underneath, there some kind of cranberry compote to compliment the meal. The viennese apple strudel is simply heavenly. The best that you will ever taste in your life. Period. Layers and layers of sift pastry overlapping each other and holding together fresh apple slicesZ surround by a creamy vanilla sauce. Its heave on a plate, i tell ya! Why 4 stars? Hmmm..their schnitzel was a bit pricey for just 1 pc. Usually comes in 2 big pieces. The nockerl wqs a bit pricey too. Its for 2, but i think its still pricey. And since portions are smaller for main courses, it doesnt represent money for value. I wont repeat here as there are many other places to explore. Food standards are high in vienna, You pretty much will get the same Fare else where. Cheers! Happy eating!
