Really nice location, decorated well and clean. The baristas are friendly. The coffee is good nothing special. In my opinion it's just a little bit pricey.

Came to Cafe Kubal at the beginning of the year to work and enjoy a mocha. It's a great location for both. The coffee is splendid, the staff is lovely, and there's plenty of tables at which to hunder down and get a little work done. In addition to a variety of coffee beverages, they also have beans and I was able to score a pretty cool mug for my at-home coffee enjoyment. Currently, during COVID-19, they have online ordering. You can get your beans shipped to you or you could order online for front door pickup as well. They're even selling their house made syrups so you can make yourself a lovely flavored latte at home and it will almost taste just like in house. Almost. (Nothing tastes quite as good as enjoying a coffee in a bustling shop does)

This was the first stop on my first visit to Syracuse and it was a great introduction to the city. The staff was great which gave me a great way to start. The cappuccino was delightful. We purchased the huge banana bread loaf and I wanted to scarf the whole thing in one go. Great products, great location for photos and best of all great staff! If you are around Syracuse it's worth a stop.

Perfect location, awesome coffee and excellent customer service. I had the pleasure of stopping by this new location today before I head back to Maryland tomorrow. The place is, cool, hip and has a great atmosphere. I love the decor and the simplicity of it. I got my cafe au lait, as always. It is perfect. I miss my Kubal fix down in DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area. I would love if Kubal would come that far. Wishful thinking. I love, love it. Great job at this location!!!

    Iced americano + decor.

A nice coffee shop in a great location. I've been to this location twice and each time it's been quiet and nearly empty, which I don't mind and is great for conversation. I ordered an Iced Americano because you can't get those everywhere, and immediately knew I'd made a great decision. Surprisingly caffeinated and strong. Not too dark, and not too much ice. Menu is perhaps not as large as in other Kubal locations, but it's different and unique from them in other ways too, so it's all about taste and preference. My favorite part of this location is sitting and people watching Franklin outside, and looking at the astounding Niagara Mohawk building directly outside. Music is not loud or overpowering, a typical indie/90's mix. It's quiet and relaxed here- but a very enjoyable experience. Plus, it's right on the Creekwalk bike path!

We checked this place out during a Yelp Event and we were not disappointed. The egg bake was fluffy and savory. The parfait yogurt, berries, and granola were all of high quality, creamy, tasty, crunchy...so good. And oh my goodness , the pastries were so deliciously flaky, fruity, buttery, cinnamony, nutty...just so so good. I will definitely come back.

This is their Creekwalk Commons location (1 of 7 locations). I am not sure if they have their own private parking lot. There was street parking (2 hours at a time). I had a small vanilla latte for under $5. I liked the natural tasting flavors of the vanilla syrup but I am unsure if I like the espresso. Overall, I like their coffee much more than Recess. Other flavor options for your coffee includes peppermint or caramel. This space is dark but has a lot of windows. It is connected to a convenient store. They sell breakfast foods like sandwiches and pastries. The workers were friendly and my drink was made really quickly. The atmosphere is more eclectic and less modern than their location on East Fayette St. I heard the East Fayette location closed (unfortunate, because this was my favorite 1!). They played cool music here that included Kygo and Paramore. They have free wifi and several seating options including booths, couch area and taller tables. I like the view of the Niagra Mohawk building from within this coffee shop. They cater (coffee, cookies, pastries, tea)! This location sells merchandise like camping cups.

Great coffee and even better employees. 10x better than Starbucks. I work across the street and grab a cup of coffee every other day.

Firstly, the space is amazing! It's bright, open, and inviting with plenty of seating. Secondly, staff are very friendly and helpful! And thirdly, their food is amazing! I'm not vegan but their food is genuinely delicious. We ordered the loaded nachos, chicken parm sandwich, and the sweet sassy molassey sandwich, chocolate mint milkshake and a green tea. The half order of loaded nachos was generous in size and toppings! It was filling without being heavy. All of the ingredients were fresh. Probably one of my top loaded nachos ever. The chicken parm sandwich was also amazing! If I didn't know this was a vegan restaurant, I would not have known that the chicken was not meat. It had the texture of perfectly cooked chicken. The stretch bread was soft, the marinara was warm and perfectly seasoned. 10/10 sandwich. The sweet sassy molassey was also quite good! Very bright, filled with vegetables and deliciously seasoned tofu. Finally, the milkshake! I would have never guessed it was vegan. It was creamy, minty, and chocolatey - like drinking thin mints! I'm determined to squeeze in more visits here before they close!

Waited only five minutes for the food, pretty sweet. Thing was piping hot and filling. I wish there were more peppers and onions though. Cajun fries were tasty and plentiful. No complaints. The first time I went was during the lunch rush, and honestly, it was amazing. Before I was even fully inside, the staff greeted me, asked if it was my first time, offered me samples, walked me through the menu, and gave recommendations based on what they personally liked and what they thought I'd enjoy. They even explained which sauces paired best with different items. The energy in the restaurant was so upbeat and welcoming, even though they were incredibly busy. They treated every customer that way, and it really made me feel like they value both their employees and their customers. That positive atmosphere definitely stood out. On top of that, the food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I left thinking, "I'm definitely coming back." My second visit was around the start of the dinner rush, around 6:00-6:30 p.m., and it was a completely different experience. The staff was still kind and polite, but the energy just wasn't the same. It felt much quieter and less engaging than my first visit. I also paid for extra sauce because I remembered wanting more the first time and having to pay for it, but my meal came without any sauce on the food--it was only on the side. When I asked about it, they had no problem fixing it and were very friendly about it, which I appreciated but it just seemed odd that the first time my food was made with sauce included. Unfortunately, the food itself also didn't taste quite as good as it did during my first visit. I haven't tried any of the desserts yet, but they looked incredible. The cake slices are HUGE--I honestly think one slice could easily be shared between two or even three people. At around $7.99, I think they're reasonably priced considering the portion size. Overall, I also found the menu prices to be fair, and there's a great variety of options to choose from. Because my experiences were so different, I'm giving this place 4 stars instead of 5. If my second visit had matched my first, this easily would have been a five-star review. I'll definitely be back, and next time I'll probably stick to going during lunch since that first experience was so memorable. For anyone wondering what I ordered, I got the chicken and lamb halal over rice. It came with onions, tomatoes, and a few other toppings (I don't eat onions, so I can't remember everything that was included), along with a piece of naan bread. During my first visit, I couldn't decide between breakfast and lunch, and the staff recommended I try the rice platter--and I'm so glad they did because it was delicious. I still couldn't resist ordering a side of French toast, though, and that was a great choice too! Everything was generously portioned, and I left full both times with left overs. I do believe they told me they serve breakfast all day as well.
