    Brunch Shrimp & Crawfish Étouffée
    Andy B.

I decided to stop in for brunch. Normally, I would get Shrimp & Grits, but since I almost always get that when it's an option, I ordered the Brunch Shrimp and Crawfish Étouffée. It had eggs, grits, shrimp and crawfish with a lovely sauce. With it, I had an Abita Mardi Gras Bock. I would absolutely get the Shrimp & Grits next time. The place is small but charming, nice ambiance. The server was very kind and kept my water glass filled.

Food is on point. You won't be disappointed....... Customer service is great! If I was to recommend something it would be EVERYTHING ON THE MENU. Absolute best!

Came back to Columbus and this was my first stop!!! Met my girlfriend and her husband. I got the fried green tomatoes and the rice and beans. My girlfriend got the shrimp and grits and her husband got the French toast cheeseburger. I tried the cheeseburger and it was good. The French toast got a little soggy but the burger was tasty and the fries were the best. The red beans and rice was still pretty tasty. The fried green tomatoes were crispy and good. The service was good. We had to ask for small plates more than once but they were very friendly.

This was my first time here and I'm not sure I'll come back. I did not have a bad experience but the establishment & food just wasn't appeasing enough for me to return. We had a party of three and was greeted immediately. We chose to sit inside. There are a lot of Mardi Gras & NOLA related decor which was nice. It is a fairly small restaurant but I feel it fits the aesthetic. I ordered the Mardi Gras pasta which was seasoned pretty well and had a spicy kick that I really enjoyed. My sister got the Monica Pasta and it wasn't really seasoned, she had to add her own. And my mom ordered the Shrimp & Grits - she really enjoyed it but did have to add a little seasoning. The mango mimosas were good and made just right. The food didn't really meet Cajun/creole standards, in my opinion. Price range of the items were extremely reasonable and worth the amount of food you got. Service was decent. There were only two waitress so at times they got really busy. Regardless they were friendly and tried to be as attentive as possible. Overall my experience was subpar. Nothing really wowed me to make me want to come back.

Amazing food and even better service. Outdoor seating available. I recommend the fried okra and any of the signature dishes. This is one of the restaurants you keep coming back for more. A+++

Yes!!! Good Good Food and superb service!!! While visiting columbus, we tried out a few different place! This was one of our favorite! Shrimp Po Boy and etouffee at this place was delish!!! We were here for lunch and had to come back for dinner later that evening. The lunch time crew was extremely polite!!! Making sure we had all we needed. This place is a bit small and intimate..... They seem to have a few regulars. Lunch menu maybe a bit pricey, but worth every penny! If you are ever in the area... You should definitely give this place a shot! Tell them Karo sent you. LOL

The food was ok. The crab cakes were baked/fried a little too hard for our liking. The shrimp and grits with sausage were great.

That's the only reason we chose this place to celebrate my son's Turning Green ceremony after 10 weeks of basic training. We ordered a lot of food, and almost everything was mediocre or just bad. The wings were tiny, we never received the gator bites, and the snow crab legs ($96 for 5 clusters) tasted freezer burnt with a terrible aftertaste. We added boiled eggs, which were overcooked, and paid extra for potatoes we never received, though it didn't matter because the ones that came with the boil were bland and completely unseasoned. But the biggest issue? The crawfish were frozen. That was the whole reason we came. When I spoke up, the server said he honestly didn't know and believed me when I said there's no way they were previously live because he didn't know who cooked them or how they were prepared. That alone says a lot. Yes, they removed the crawfish from the bill after I spoke up, but we still paid $196 (and I still tipped) for food that was clearly freezer-based and rushed through a fryer. Nothing about this experience felt Cajun or worth the money. If we had been told the truth from the start, we would have never come. Would not recommend.

The shrimp was a little overcooked. The shrimp po boy was layers on layers of flavor that has me only imagining how good their etouffee and gumbo must be I did wrap up with an order of beignets which were very could but could use a dipping sauce (I know that's not how they're traditionally served but I think it would make it better). Great food. Great service. And we will definitely be coming back. And they have outdoor seating!

We were seated in the booth next to the entrance. By that time there were many empty tables and lunch service was winding down. The bar remained full of what seemed to be regulars, based on interactions with staff. Despite groups of servers busing tables (4 servers and a hostess bussing a 2-top in front of us) and constantly walking by it was over 15 min before a server approached us. With the claim of "best burger in the south" we ordered 5 burgers and 1 hamburger steak. It took 40 min to receive our food. The crinkle-cut fries were very good. The burgers were large. We ordered at least one of every burger on the menu and nine lives up to the designation of best burger in the South. Every burger was overcooked and the buns were large but dry and crumbling. You must ask for condiments to dress your own burgers. Pickles, lettuce and onions are on the side. Bacon was thick and cooked perfectly. The pimento cheese was plentiful. The hamburger steak was a slice of meatloaf with onions and gravy, "nothing special". After receiving our food we did not see our waiter again (refills, condiments, etc) until we asked for out check. We were unable to get water refills during our meal but to-go waters were offered with the check. There is outdoor seating with umbrellas. Several TVs throughout the establishment. The menu offered a good number of options. With a large number of high-top tables, large bar and multiple TVs thiabwas a more casual atmosphere
