I/we really enjoyed the vibe and the atmosphere. The staff is friendly, but overall the service is slow...and your server may change without notice. Everything seemed like it took forever--and I don't like being thirsty especially. As for the food...the garlic bread appetizer was quite tasty. The chicken pasta and mushroom pasta dishes were good, but keep the salt & pepper handy. I normally travel with a small bottle of hot sauce "just in case", but I forgot it...if you do this too, bring it! The big plus about this place is that they are open late and have dine-in in this area. If you don't want to eat...great...I do think this is a nice place to just order a drink and maybe an appetizer (or dessert) to just chill after a long day. Apropos is within walking distance of a lot of different hotels in the area. However, the metro/subway station isn't far...maybe 300 meters of walking distance. But as we were leaving the place started getting very busy. Customer service was pleasant enough and our order came out quickly. In the short time that we were visiting Denmark, we visited Wulff og Konstali Food Shop twice! It's got a cozy ambiance, the cutest décors, and your seating options are either indoors at a long, communal table, or outdoors at picnic tables. The ordering process at Wulff og Konstali can be a bit overwhelming/confusing as there are no signage with instructions. After talking with some of the people already in line, we figured out what we needed to do: grab a table, pick up a Brunch sheet, fill it out, hop back into line, pay, and (not-so-patiently) wait for your food. The first time we visited was on a Wednesday, we stayed indoors, and we ordered two Brunches (one 5 pcs, one 7pcs). Together, we got to try 12 dishes: the Almond Croissant, the Danish Style Poppy Seed Croissant, 2 Fried Eggs, the Scrambled Eggs, the 1/2 Avocado with Sesame Seeds and Olive Oil, the Tomatoes with Olive Oil and Oregano, the Fruits of the Day, the Høost Organic Danish Cheese with Honey and Roasted Almonds, the Skyr (Organic Icelandic Yogurt) with Sea Buckthorn and Honey Roasted Spelt Flakes, the Fennel Salami with Pickled Fennel, the Smoked Salmon with Artichoke Cream and Dill, and the Vanilla Waffle with Salt Caramel and Freezedried Raspberries. My favorites were the Danish Style Poppy Seed Croissant and the Smoked Salmon with Artichoke Cream and Dill. The second time we came back, we were experts on what to do--we came on a Friday, and we opted to enjoy our food outside and bask in the sun. We ordered one Danish Style Poppy Seed Croissant and one coffee. Both were delicious and I made it a point to save half of the pastry for our flight home. Kinda disgusting to pick up from the plate and now for the positive sides: I love that there are more and more brunch places with this concept where you mix and match your own stuff. My personal favourites would be the soft-boiled egg and the waffle, although Mina K also swore by the sunny side up egg (spejlæg). My cortado was delicious although it was somewhat weak. All in all, service was quick and painless. I might want to try this place again on a not weekend morning, or maybe later in the afternoon when there's more relaxed atmosphere around this place. Sunday morning brunch gave us bad vibes since they were a lot of people waiting to get their brunch and the stressed out waiters and waitresses didn't help. The concept is that you recieve the menu, which is a piece of paper listing all the things the place have to offer, and a pencil. You do not order to the waiter, but fill out the paper sheet by crossing off on the menu what you and your table desire, so in summary you actually design your own menu. The place offers a lot of different things, but mostly the place is for breakfast/ brunch and maybe lunch.. They offer different style eggs, sausages, youghurt, müsli, fruit etc., and each little dish cost between 20-50 kr.. The food is served in these little ceramic, stylish plates. I would recommend their poached egg, the avocado, grape fruit and their delicious coffee. I am very found of the place and it is worth a visit. One advice is to come early during the weekend, or make reservations, because the place is packed.
