But honestly, this was probably the best I've ever had and the portions were huge for the price. The açaí was the perfect balance of tart and sweet - but not overly sweet. I enjoyed both. I also ordered a fresh ginger and carrot juice since I felt slightly under the weather from traveling from Hawaii to Copenhagen. My cappuccino was excellent as well. Sundays they offer a special brunch menu where you select your entrees and side and it comes as a set meal. We came in early during a weekday morning and it was empty. But as we were leaving the place started getting very busy. Customer service was pleasant enough and our order came out quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed eating here so much that we came back twice during our trip to Copenhagen. If I ever find myself back in this city I will definitely be returning.

In the short time that we were visiting Denmark, we visited Wulff og Konstali Food Shop twice! It's got a cozy ambiance, the cutest décors, and your seating options are either indoors at a long, communal table, or outdoors at picnic tables. The ordering process at Wulff og Konstali can be a bit overwhelming/confusing as there are no signage with instructions. After talking with some of the people already in line, we figured out what we needed to do: grab a table, pick up a Brunch sheet, fill it out, hop back into line, pay, and (not-so-patiently) wait for your food. The first time we visited was on a Wednesday, we stayed indoors, and we ordered two Brunches (one 5 pcs, one 7pcs). Together, we got to try 12 dishes: the Almond Croissant, the Danish Style Poppy Seed Croissant, 2 Fried Eggs, the Scrambled Eggs, the 1/2 Avocado with Sesame Seeds and Olive Oil, the Tomatoes with Olive Oil and Oregano, the Fruits of the Day, the Høost Organic Danish Cheese with Honey and Roasted Almonds, the Skyr (Organic Icelandic Yogurt) with Sea Buckthorn and Honey Roasted Spelt Flakes, the Fennel Salami with Pickled Fennel, the Smoked Salmon with Artichoke Cream and Dill, and the Vanilla Waffle with Salt Caramel and Freezedried Raspberries. Everything we ordered from the Brunch Menu was finger-licking-delicious. The 1/2 Avocado with Sesame Seeds and Olive Oil was smothered in sea salt and it was a little too salty for me. The Vanilla Waffle with Salt Caramel and Freezedried Raspberries erred on the sweeter side and we couldn't finish it. I'd skip over the Fruits of the Day. My favorites were the Danish Style Poppy Seed Croissant and the Smoked Salmon with Artichoke Cream and Dill. The second time we came back, we were experts on what to do--we came on a Friday, and we opted to enjoy our food outside and bask in the sun. We ordered one Danish Style Poppy Seed Croissant and one coffee. Both were delicious and I made it a point to save half of the pastry for our flight home. If I ever find myself in Copenhagen again, I know I'd be back at Wulff og Konstali in a heartbeat!

Plus, they have an entire area across the street in the middle park area for more outdoor dining. It is a nice place to sit and just relax with a few drinks after a day of playing tourist. I/we really enjoyed the vibe and the atmosphere. The staff is friendly, but overall the service is slow...and your server may change without notice. Everything seemed like it took forever--and I don't like being thirsty especially. As for the food...the garlic bread appetizer was quite tasty. The chicken pasta and mushroom pasta dishes were good, but keep the salt & pepper handy. I normally travel with a small bottle of hot sauce "just in case", but I forgot it...if you do this too, bring it! The big plus about this place is that they are open late and have dine-in in this area. If you don't want to eat...great...I do think this is a nice place to just order a drink and maybe an appetizer (or dessert) to just chill after a long day. Apropos is within walking distance of a lot of different hotels in the area. However, the metro/subway station isn't far...maybe 300 meters of walking distance. Moreover, there is parking along the street if you have a rental car and/or you live over here and are visiting with your own vehicle.

It's a big open place inside and since there were lots of people and they were all talking, we could hardly have a conversation inside, let alone hygge, but fortunately the food was good enough of a distraction - Super greasy bacon. Seriously, if you claim to be a brunch place, do your bacon right. I like the smokey flavour but the shit was literally dripping with oil. Kinda disgusting to pick up from the plate and now for the positive sides: I love that there are more and more brunch places with this concept where you mix and match your own stuff. All the stuff they had in their menu (would like to try the asparagus but they didn't have that!) sounded so scrumptious that we felt like we had to try it all and we did (almost all). My personal favourites would be the soft-boiled egg and the waffle, although Mina K also swore by the sunny side up egg (spejlæg). The item that I was looking forward the most (avocado) turned out to be a big disappointment. More flavour please. Although there were so many people on that day, the service was very prompt and efficient, we got our table relatively fast considering that there were 6 names ahead of us and the food came quick too. My cortado was delicious although it was somewhat weak. All in all, service was quick and painless. I might want to try this place again on a not weekend morning, or maybe later in the afternoon when there's more relaxed atmosphere around this place. Sunday morning brunch gave us bad vibes since they were a lot of people waiting to get their brunch and the stressed out waiters and waitresses didn't help. Four for now and I really hate to degrade my review. I hope it never will come to that.

You do not order to the waiter, but fill out the paper sheet by crossing off on the menu what you and your table desire, so in summary you actually design your own menu. The place offers a lot of different things, but mostly the place is for breakfast/ brunch and maybe lunch.. They offer different style eggs, sausages, youghurt, müsli, fruit etc., and each little dish cost between 20-50 kr.. The food is served in these little ceramic, stylish plates. I would recommend their poached egg, the avocado, grape fruit and their delicious coffee. I am very found of the place and it is worth a visit. One advice is to come early during the weekend, or make reservations, because the place is packed.

The restaurant was nearly full, nicely decorated, and had a confident brasserie energy. Service was one of the highlights. My waitress was attentive and enthusiastic. She seemed relatively new and asked colleagues for help a few times, but her attitude was excellent and the overall service was above average. The food, unfortunately, was less convincing. The bread was fresh and crisp. The carpaccio was exactly what one would expect: pleasant, properly prepared, but somewhat flat. The Lemon Sole à la Meunière was well presented and nicely cooked, with good crispness, but the caper sauce did not bring much brightness or depth. The dish was enjoyable, but not memorable. The dessert was the low point. I ordered two petit fours and received two very small rectangular pieces that tasted more like firm, not-too-sweet granola bars than a proper finish to the meal. The double espresso was also served only warm. The final bill was DKK 975 before tip, and after tipping I was surprised to see an additional 2.5% Visa card surcharge that had not been mentioned before payment. Overall, Café Victor offers a strong setting and very good service, but the food felt inconsistent and overpriced. I was fed, but not impressed. At this price point, I would look for another restaurant before returning.
