This is the third place I've visited for coffee and Charlevoix and it's the only legit place I've been to yet. Cappuccino made perfectly with correct proportions. Using their own chai mix to make a light slightly sweet version. There's even a good selection of matcha. The staff were so friendly and helpful. You order from a kiosk outside with a buzzer to pick up from the window or you can go inside to a cozy spot or sit outside under a lovely umbrella and order with the QR codes on the table. Place was cute inside. A little confusing to order to be honest I just want to place my order with a human and go sit and wait for the food. This is all just too robotic for me, you sit yourself, you place the order yourself on a iPad, if you have any requests for changes you have to go find someone and let them know...they can't always make changes to the orders, and when you ask they will give you long weird looks. Nice little cafe that serves smoothies, chai, breakfast tacos. We had quiche bites which were okay but the star of the show was the dessert croissant, which was HEAVENLY!! FRIENDLY because they asked if it was our first time -- since we did not immediately walk over to one of the kiosks to place a "contactless" order -- when we came in. We were craving iced latte, so I found this place and was intrigued with the vegan matcha soft serve, so we had to give it a try. The staff was very friendly, but I was a little confused with the way they do the business.. you can't ender the Cafe unless you dine in. If not, you have to order at the kiosk on the other side of the building and pick up your items from a window. It felt a little rude to me. I get the new era of doing business, but for some reason, the big sign at the entrance that you can't enter did not sit well with me. Anyway, we got into the ordering screen, and it took us like 10 minutes to figure out how to order what we wanted as any kind of customization you can do (even choosing between iced or hot) you make in mamy steps after selecting the base. Finally, we got what we wanted. Tables outside were pretty dirty, but the staff quickly cleaned them for us. Matcha vegan soft serve was good, and I liked that they had 4 different kinds of waffle cones to go with it, all of them vegan too. I went with the matcha waffle cone but was a little disappointed as both the soft serve and the cone didn't have much of a matcha flavor. I went here on a Thursday morning and had a great experience! The cafe wasn't super busy, and everything was really delicious. The ambiance was very chic and had a solid vibe. The food here was really good. I got the avocado toast + a Nutella banana croffle. The bread for the toast was great, and the avocado was yummy. I wish i had gotten the smoked salmon topping though. The croffle was really good. Their croissant dough was nice and buttery + crisp. I'd get the strawberry one (the tartness & cream was amazing) next time or the plain (as it could definitely be delicious on its own). The staff was really nice there too! Absolutely puzzled by any non-5-star reviews. This place is awesome - definitely check it out! We stopped by this morning with our pup. They have a "super easy outdoor ordering screen" that is exactly that. So user-friendly that truly anyone can use it. We got our order placed and sat down with our pup outside. The guy working came out with a giant bowl of water for our pup and was so incredibly nice. Food was quick. Iced Nutella lattes... so good. Would come back just for this. They also have croffles, which if you are always on the hunt for new croissant inventions, this is a must-try. Busy but they showed us a lot of care throughout our visit. This is a gem. We couldn't have been more pleased with this adorable little place. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, a very local feel and the man who waited on us was super nice and accommodating. The food was delicious, definitely healthy and homemade and we left feeling light, nourished and full. I was impressed with the clean and high quality ingredients. It's not a very big place but still very warm, comfortable and there's small tables you order at which I found to be efficient. Terrible experience. I was given the wrong order, and when I politely asked for it to be corrected, the staff refused -- claiming they couldn't take it back because I had taken one bite. The food was overpriced, bland, and absolutely not what I ordered. A decent café would own up to a simple mistake and make it right -- this place doubled down with attitude. Café Meria serves truly delicious food--standouts for me were the salmon and the bacon, both cooked beautifully and packed with flavor. However, the pricing was surprisingly high. Nearly everything came with an upcharge, including basics like cream or sugar for coffee, which felt a bit excessive. While the food quality was excellent, the nickel-and-diming on simple additions took away from the overall experience. Great taste, but be prepared for the extra charges. read more

This place has the healthy kind of smoothies with real fruit and healthy options for additions, not just sugary syrup. I also have had really delicious salmon toast and avocado toast there. Everything tastes super fresh and not right off the Cisco food truck. The prices are high, but I am find with paying more because the items I ordered featured fresh fruits and vegetables and fish, which cost more. I haven't tried the croiffles or pastries. read more

Anew A newer place in Charlevoix. They are embracing the 21st century; you order from basically a large iPad, which takes a moment to get used to. But that allows them to work on just the drinks. I am a chocolate lover, so I got a Mocha. The chocolate is European style, meaning light and less bitter. Excellent! You can't get this at most other coffee places, certainly not SB or that moose place. I recommend them on that basis. read more

Two of us had lattes and a croffle each and the bill was almost $40! The coffees were good but not worth that kind of coin. The croffles were dry and a mess to eat. The atmosphere and decor is just weird and the guy running the counter (maybe the owner) was slow, slow, slow and made our drinks while talking to a coffee vendor and flirting with a customer so it took forever. This little cafe seemed to have great potential when they were getting it off the ground but the reality is it's mediocre fare at a very high price point. BUT as the website says "you're not just paying for coffee and treats, you're paying for the whole trendy coffee experience." Cute place but $34 (with tip) for 4 drinks (1 was a coffee, 3 lattes) is a lot. My lattes were luke warm (I see this mentioned a lot of other reviews). The young girl working, although friendly, was more concerned with flirting with the young man working and goofing off, we were the only people in the cafe but it took a long time for our drinks (had she helped, rather than putting sticky notes all over the young man's back, it might have gone quicker). I don't like giving bad reviews and I think there is lots of potential here (with training and standards topping the list). read more

Delicious dirty chai and croffles! The croffles are a cross between a crossiant and a waffle. You must try them--deliciously crispy and not too sweet! They're a great treat and so unique for this area. Plan a few extra minutes for this stop--you'll need it to place your order on the contactless kiosk and there was only one person working both food and drinks while I was there.
