Even though no games were going on while I was there, it was a nice (and beautiful) change of scenery. When I checked in, I was impressed by the gentleman at the front desk; he was very cheerful and friendly! Without me asking, he stated that he gave me a room with a great view and far from the elevator so I wouldn't hear much foot traffic (always a win!). My room was, clean, comfortable and overlooked Ripken Stadium (I attached a picture of the view from my room). There was a nice indoor pool and even an arcade! Breakfast was great; had the standard bacon/eggs but a few extras like Brie cheese (which I always appreciate!) Overall, I enjoyed my short stay and would definitely come back if in the area--I wouldn't mind getting a room with that same view during a game!

They would ask and offer to help even when you did not ask. They were friendly at the breakfast area. The hotel was clean and comfortable. (The pool area is nice and large. The pool water was cold for me but the kids enjoyed it without a problem. We had gotten a king suite and the room was quite spacious. the manager Thomas went above and beyond to help me extend my room reservation at the last minute. He was extremely kind to my children and the other guests in our group. I also met the owner briefly on our last morning and he seemed very kind and attentive. The hotel was in a perfect location 5 minutes from the baseball tournament. And a handful of restaurants nearby. Also a ShopRite grocery store & target just a few minutes away. I will definitely stay here and recommend it to others.

I understand that Aberdeen hosts a lot of youth baseball, and I certainly don't blame the hotel for the behavior of other guests. This is ultimately a parenting and supervision issue. However, it has made what should have been a comfortable hotel stay much more stressful and difficult to enjoy. The water does just stop while you're showering, major water pressure problems.

Wife had bites on her arms, neck, face by the morning. I had a bad delayed reaction and broke out with bed bug bites on my face, neck, arms, hands, back, legs, and feet. We have plenty of pictures as well. Our child was in a full zip up onesie and was luckily spared, otherwise I would have lost it. Got out of this hotel quickly, as we saw streaks of blood (from the bed bugs) on the sheets after we woke up and checked. Usually the best you're gonna find. Wasn't worth trying to find a bug just to prove a point. No surprise and we don't even care about a refund honestly. It's more important that people know what they're paying for.

The house is amazing with a wonderful collection of antiques throughout. We stayed in the Garden Room, which was very comfortable. We enjoyed the fresh fruit and cake placed in our room each day and the delicious hot breakfast prepared for us each day. Carol made us feel at home and was a great host. It was also enjoyable to stroll around the town, especially the waterfront area.
