Tortilla española con pimientos, chorizo and champiñones.

Breakfast place located near downtown Port Credit. It's a cozy spot with indoor and outdoor seating. I was honestly really excited to try it out after reading some great reviews! Unfortunately, my partner and I left feeling a bit dissatisfied with our meal and service. The items on the menu sounded great, but we found the flavours to be lacking upon receiving our orders. I ordered the Chorizo and Halloumi waffle, and my boyfriend ordered the Tortilla Española con Pimentos, Chorizo, and Champiñones. All the elements of the food were present, just nothing special in my opinion. I also had a recurring issue with my water cup, which was odd. The first time, there was black specs in my water, which I asked to have replaced. The second cup and third cup were both dirty and had food residue inside. I eventually gave up and drank from my partner's water cup lol. The servers weren't very welcoming or friendly either. Overall, I think there are better options for breakfast in the area.

We wanted to try the circle croissants and was glad that this cafe was serving it. Unfortunately, they do run out fairly quickly and was sold out before noon. The place was packed but we just came for the pastries. I luckily got the pistachio croissant, and also got the basque cheesecake and the lemon tart. We tried their flat white as well. The croissant was lovely, but it wasn't amazing. But also I didn't get to try it fresh which could have been a factor. I liked the cheesecake, it wasn't too sweet and it was kind of like a flan texture. The lemon tarts were also nice.

Popped in while on a walk on a Saturday morning. We got one of the last indoor tables in this small but cute cafe. They have outdoor seating but it was cold and windy so nobody was out there. They have vegan cheese to sub in most dishes. The vegan gf item was the tortilla sun "huevo"......a sweet cornmeal pancake exterior filled with vegan scrambled eggs and vegan cheese. Salad on the side. This was large snd filling but it also came with a side of bread (no gf bread available). I got the walnut sourdough and it was tasty, crunchy and chewy. Hubby really liked it. Hubby had the mushroom and cheese sandwich on sourdough and really enjoyed that too. Limited street parking but service was good and food was fresh.

this cute brunch spot on lakeshore specializes in baked goods, and specifically this viral stuffed circle croissant! we tried the hazelnut/nutella & pistachio flavours. they really packed the filling and the croissant was buttery so I would come back for this! I've never had a scotch egg before this, and have always been really curious what it tasted like. what you see is sort of what you get, a deep fried meatball with a soft boiled egg on the inside It tasted good, but I personally would've preferred a bit more seasoning in the meat and tomato sauce

They offer Malaysian/singaporean dishes which is sometimes hard to find. The place was nice and clean and the staff was friendly. I ordered the Malaysian curry laksa with a half udon half vermicelli noodles. The broth was so coconuty and shrimpy which is how I likey laksa. Good amount of garnish of shrimp, tofu, and fish balls. The only thing was the noodles was more vermicelli than the udon. I think next time I'll order it I'll get it for udon only. Definitely coming back here for the bakkutteh dish my other favourite!

The place was far from crowded when we showed up, and we were told to check out the menus and place our order at the front. We decided to share the House Special Sandwich ("Pork loin marinated with house special recipe, tomato, fried egg, cabbage and peanut butter") and the Malaysian Street Style sandwich ("4oz ground beef with a taste of M'sian spice, tomato, fried egg, lettuce and sweet & spicy sauce"). (I also got a milk tea to drink, and it was really good. Very rich but not too sweet.) The sandwiches were both excellent. They were packed with flavor and the various components all worked really well together. The Malaysian Street Style did flirt with being just a little too sweet, but it was balanced out with the other components. Everything was decently priced, too. The bill, with tip, came out to around 25 bucks, which is great considering the quantity and caliber of food we were given.

When dining in, you order at the counter, get a number, and they bring your food to the table. Breakfast items are available until 4 p.m., and after that they serve salads, bowls, and sandwiches. On my first visit, I had a hot chai latte with espresso and it was absolutely delicious. The second time, I tried the iced pumpkin spice latte and didn't love it. The pumpkin spice syrup is homemade, which is nice, but the flavor fell a little flat and the large glass was mostly milk, which overpowered the drink. For food, I've tried the egg sandwich simple but good. The spinach feta croissant was heavy on the spinach, light on the cheese, and even though I asked for it warmed up, it was still cold in the middle. Their bowls are very fresh, but I found them a little under-seasoned and could've used more dressing or a sprinkle of seasoning to tie everything together. Overall, it's a cozy spot with an inviting vibe (I love their "stay awhile" sign on the wall). I think it really depends on what you order and your personal taste. For some, the fresh and lighter options might be perfect. For me, a little more flavor and balance would make it great.

In warmer weather, they open the large windows, and it's quite a nice atmosphere. Came for coffee, but was blown away by their breakfast plates. They have a small selection of beautiful pastries on display too. Their Omelette plates are made with fresh ingredients, well-seasoned home fries, and fresh bagels.
