From where we were staying in Madrid's Centro, this location was our go to. It was close and we stopped by for cappucinos on the regular.
We have dined in (in the evening) and gotten coffees to go in the morning.
The staff has always been happy to help us. They've been attentive to us, and didn't really ignore or stay on top of us; but if we needed something, it didn't take too much to get their attention.
It's a throughway, so it could easily get busy, but I've not had a bad experience here. Get to the point, order what you need and get out of there.
It's a Corner Bakery feel to it, but it does serve beer, wine, and other beverages, which is different than CB.
Easy to find on the southwest corner of the plaza Jacinto Benavente on Calle Atocha. Yes, there are better places, but this was easily accessible to us. read more
