I called the restaurant to explain the mistake and simply asked to be refunded the difference between the combo price and what I actually received. I was not asking for a full refund. Instead of helping, they repeatedly told me I needed to contact DoorDash for a refund, even after I explained multiple times that I ordered directly from their website and picked the food up myself. The employee and her "manager" were clearly mocking the situation and refused to take responsibility. Eventually, she said something along the lines of, "We'll just refund you so I can be happy and you can be happy," but never once apologized for the mistake or the poor handling of the situation. It's disappointing because I genuinely liked their tacos, but the customer service completely ruined the experience. Double-check your takeout order before leaving, and don't expect much help if they make a mistake.
