Garden patio dining, lovely breeze, with a well enjoyed aperol spritz

Our first meal after landing in Rome and it was wonderful! Gorgeous patio with stunning views and a lovely breeze- beautiful garden feel. Everyone nicely dressed and very classy. The gnocchi was amazing as was the prosciutto with melon and antipasto were all delicious! Wonderful service as well.

Great food with great views! No more to be said - you won't be disappointed - both Italian and English menus available

The sunset view of Roma and Vaticano in the distance from the gazebo at Caffe Ciampini!

Two things: 1) The View 2) OH MY GOD THE VIEWWWWWWWWWW! Yes, Caffe Ciampini has incredible views but they also have fantastic food. If Rome is your honeymoon destination, romantic vacation destination, or date destination this place will make the panties or undies drop!!! Trust me, the view alone deserves 5 stars but you pair that with a fantastic meal... ORGASM Located just up the road from the Spanish Steps in Rome, Caffe Ciampini has one of the best steaks around! If you are tired of pastas and pizzas and want a good steak, come here... The meat was huge (that's what she/he said) and filling (school girl giggle). If you make the smart decision to come here, please request the gazebo! It has the best view of the Vatican. If you watch the sunset over the vatican, it is breathtaking and beautiful. You will love the view here. And you will also love the food. Ciao!

This place is great. One of my better dinning experiences in Rome. Our door patio is super as is the view. The food is delicious including the cod risotto and teramisu.

Superb meal of fire grilled vegetables and steamed sea bass. Like eating a cloud. Beautiful place overlooking the city. Highly recommend!

Only stopped for coffee but what a location. So relaxed about a couple ordering mere capuccini. And so reasonable.

Ottimo ristorante. Ambiente piacevole e piatti curati. Prezzi tuttavia un po' troppo alti.

We were lucky enough to grab a table for lunch. We had a margherita, pepperoni, and a burrata with prosciutto pizza. All three were outstanding. The crust, the dough, the toppings - everything tasted fresh and came together perfectly. One of the best, yet simplest meals we've had. They also offer salads, though we didn't try any. The two behind the counter were fun and friendly. They take your order, ask where you're from, and then shout out your location when your food is ready - a really fun touch. Bonus: our table had a USB charging station, which was a really nice surprise while out exploring the city. There's also a small bathroom in the back for customers. This one really hit home. Definitely worth a stop.

Plus, the space is very hot inside, but better to sit near the window or do takeaway. I wasn't very hungry, but wanted one last pizza in Italy. When I saw that this spot does mini pizzas, which means I was able to choose a variety of flavors; I was so excited! Unfortunately, they ran out of the mini pizza dough and only had the large. It really is a shame, because I didn't think the bigger version is worth €15 each. Nonetheless, I ordered the Burrata & Anchovies while the husband got Pepperoni. I really did enjoy the flavor and chewiness of the dough. The burrata also gave it such a nice creaminess to balance the pizza that worked perfectly. Sadly, I had to waste a slice because I couldn't finish the larger pizza, so still a bit upset that I couldn't order the mini. With that said, it's a delicious pizza spot.

We ordered & sipped two glasses of wine outside, then placed a variety of dishes to share while they cleared the table: pasta, two small pizzas, baby octopus, Genovese (stewed beef), Arancino, and more wine/beer. Seating area was very small. I was seated in walk way area and it was a bit busy with people going in and out of restrooms. Ordered Carbonara, Genovese and Aperitivo. I had Carbonara for the first time and I m not a big fan of it. I have to try it again to make sure if it's me or the way the dish taste. Genovese was ok, beef stew was inside of a bread. Aperitivo, I chose spritz which came with refreshing cocktails and three little fried pizza. Overall the food tasted acceptable but wait time for Cabonara was long. It must have been like 30 minutes. I was done eating everything and had to just wait for that. The restaurant was small and this is a classic popular dish. I don't think they should take this long.
