Caffe da nino is an authentic Italian cafe that my girlfriend and I love visiting. From the cappuccinos to the gelato, this place never disappoints. The owner Nino, takes care of his customers and makes sure you leave the cafe with a smile on your face. If you're looking for a taste of Italy , look no further than Caffé da Nino , you wont be disappointed.

Great cappacino, but did not like the regular coffee at all. They have seating outdoors also.

But the taste is great, the portions are huge, and it's definitely worth it! Pistachio: The pistachio flavor is very strong, even a bit salty. Those who like it will love it, while those who don't might find it strange--for example, my dad thought it tasted like salted fish. No Sugar Added Hazelnut: The best of the bunch. The nutty and creamy aroma of hazelnuts is rich, and because no sugar is added, it's not too sweet. A pure yet exquisite flavor. Strawberry Mascarpone & Ricotta: Amazing! It tastes like strawberry cheesecake! The perfect amount of cheese, combined with the refreshing strawberry jam, is simply wonderful. Cranberry: A very simple fruit sorbet. Most people might find it too sour, but for someone like me who loves sour flavors and had just eaten in Thai restaurant like Tha Phraya, it was perfect. Refreshing, natural, and helps cut through the greasiness.

Beautiful gelato spot with tasty gelato!…read more My family and I sampled a few flavors before narrowing down our choices. I ordered the chocolate raspberry, which was delicious. My family also enjoyed the pistachio and strawberry gelato. While we weren't fans of all the flavors we tried, I'd definitely return for a cup of the ones we enjoyed the next time I'm in the neighborhood. Perfect way to cool down on a summer day!

The woman at the cart handled it with ease. A two scoop cup runs just over $7.50. Their flavors are top notch. Pistachio, strawberry, hazelnut and a bunch more. Apparently this little gelato cart is seasonal and only out May through October. We had our lunch in Central Park & were then in the mood for gelato so walked a couple of blocks to cool off with the best gelato. To me the good gelato has to have that perfect gelato texture and theirs did not disappoint. It was delicious! I had two scoops - pistachio and mokaccino (coffee and chocolate ) and my friend had a scoop of fresh strawberry and a scoop of chocolate mint on a cone. The mint had fresh sprigs of mint. So good. They also had sorbet (sorbetti) for those who can't have dairy or are vegan. (Or just love fruit sorbet!) The non-dairy options were coconut and raspberry. I definitely want to come back and try the raspberry sorbet Also, the fountain there is so beautiful, a great place to eat gelato, watch the fountain, and people watch.

On our way back, our group of six decided to grab some gelato. Since there were a few places to choose from, we picked the one closest to the museum, which had great reviews. It was super clean, but like a typical NYC store, it was pretty small. Luckily, we were the only ones there at first, but it did get busy. Isabela, the server, was super accommodating and encouraged us to try different flavors. I tried Halva Nagela with almond taste, but I ended up picking pistachio for its strong nutty and creamy flavor--oh, it was sooo good! My husband loved the Dulce de Leche. The other flavors we had were crème brûlée and mint chip. We all loved the gelato favors we picked. We highly recommend Noi Due Gelato. It was a super treat for a gorgeous, warm day in NYC.
