Located in a strip mall, this cafe might be easy to miss, but once you know it's there you will want to come again. The atmosphere is modern and clean. You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. We had almond milk lattes, a Turkey avocado wrap, and a prosciutto fig sandwich. Everything was delicious and we loved the coffee. I only wish I lived closer to this location because it was very good and I would like to come back. read more

Last Saturday I did a search to find a new place to get food from and found Caffe Gourmet. My wife and I looked at the menu and hungrily placed our orders with a deliver time of 45 minutes. 50 minutes later I received an email and subsequent call that the restaurant wouldn't be filling the order. I called - no answer. I sent an email- no reply. If you're really hungry I'd recommend a place that can provide food. read more

Amazing Venezuelan food but make it gourmet. This place is SO GOOD. My husband had an arepa with oatmeal and organic chia seeds (which is their standard arepa) stuffed with meat carpaccio and burrata which was amazing. I had the same type of arepa, but I was slightly more basic and went with prosciutto and guayanes cheese. I don't regret our decisions in the slightest. First off, the arepa was super thin, crispy and extremely delicious even without its stuffing. The carpaccio was fresh and flavorful and so was the burrata. My prosciutto was mouth watering and the guayanes cheese brought me straight back to Venezuela in every bite, it was juicy, soft and just the right amount of salty. I don't know how they manage to bring it to the US, but my Lord, is it worth it. Our dessert/after meal coffee was their affogato. Which was perfect. The manager was kind enough to add a touch of Nutella as an extra which made it even better. The espresso in it was good even without the ice cream, so the combination was a treat for our palates. The service was wonderful, the manager was an absolute sweetheart and gave us excellent recommendations and was a pleasure to talk to. He told us they have live music on fridays, so we'll go by one of these days to take advantage of the full experience. read more

I wanted to recommend this place where we had my husband's 50th birthday party. First of all, the owner, his brother, and the staff were absolutely awesome. The owner Rudolfo is the nicest guy. He worked with us on the menu and the prices. Was very reasonable and accommodating. Everything was done exactly as we asked. There were no problems of any kind! The food was great and brought out in a timely manner. Our guests felt welcomed and comfortable. They also recommended a musician who was a DJ and sang beautifully too. I really couldn't recommend them enough. We left very happy. read more

I found this place on Yelp. Honestly an excellent Gourmet Sandwich place. My favorites are Nordic Salmon, Prosciutto and Chicken Fontina sandwiches. Ay the beginning I was a bit hesitant as I am Venezuelan, but I tend to avoid Venezuelan crowds and Venezuelan restaurants. However, Caffe Gourmet had me at coffee! Their breakfasts are absolutely delicious and focused on the healthier side. Their tequeños and oatmeal arepas are to die for, not to forget their coffee. Over priced, but good! It's disappointed to order the salmon toast for over $10.00 and only get one small toast. Taste good, but just not worth the price. This is the best run, clean, quality establishment my husband and I have visited in years. ALL EXCELLENT. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS about the delicious food, the coffee, the gracious service, the spotless restroom and lovely menu choices. I only regret that we live so far away. We stopped there after a fan boat trip in the Everglades for lunch and drinks (non-alcoholic). Food, especially the croissants, was phenomenal. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, toasted, etc. The wait staff were supper friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was busy, but our order came up promptly. We all agreed this was one of the best breakfast/lunch/coffee places we had been to in a long time and we all travel around the country frequently and have a lot of places to compare this to. I'm really disappointed with this restaurant. I went today and order a croque madame from their menu and once I received my food it looked like a plain ham and cheese sandwich. My sister in law order a salmon toast and the bread looked like it was a slice of bread from the beginning of the loaf. The thin piece. You couldn't even give her a thick piece. The plates are plastic as well as the silverware. Speechless. I've never ever written reviews but I had to make an exception for this place. Over priced and the quality of food is undesirable and frankly, unacceptable. I would even give them no stars if I could. read more

I'm strictly writing this because I have been unable to try this place yet. So the 2 stars is based off service. I have tried to order from here multiple times and the hours posted are either incorrect or they close early. On yelp it shows that during the week they are open until 9 and Friday and Saturday until 11. However that is not the case. Also other sites are incorrect. Please update your times because it is very frustrating to not know when I can order. read more

The arepas were good. Basic queso de mano, but tasty. Stars taken off due to lack of enforcement of COVID-19 mask and social distancing rules. People came in while we waited for our order -no masks- and nobody said anything. Won't be back until the pandemic is over, if at all. I enjoyed eating at this place after my workouts next door until today I was drinking my coffee and felt something chucky, thought it was the foam so i swallowed and then drank again and another piece i take it out of my tongue and its a dragon fly or some bug. So grossed out I will not be eating here again. Lady at the register first just gave me a refund for the coffee, I obviously could NOT eat the food I ordered from how disgusted I was so when i asked for a refund of my whole order she came handed it to me rudely and walked away.
