Stopped by this little coffee shop in the plaza after visiting the cake shop next door. When I walked in, the staff wasn't very friendly or welcoming. I asked about their iced coffee options, and there was only one flavor available, so I decided to try an iced café con leche. The drink was just okay, nothing special, especially for the $5 price. Overall, the experience felt flat. Would I return? No. Would I recommend? Also no.

Vita Nostra Bakery Bistro is the kind of spot you start with once and end up returning to every morning without overthinking it. The space is soft, clean, and feminine with chandeliers, gray seating, and pastel walls. It feels calm in a city that does not do calm very often. The food is consistent and reliable. The empanadas were the move. The beef, spicy beef, and ham and cheese all delivered. Crisp exterior, hot filling, and no grease. The ham and cheese croissant sandwiches were simple and perfect. No soggy bread, no cheap cheese. Just a solid breakfast that does not waste your time. The coffee deserves its own line. It is strong, smooth, and not burnt. Easily one of the best coffees we had in Fort Lauderdale. That alone made the repeat visits an easy decision. Service is kind and fast. Pricing is fair. If you stay in the area, this becomes a habit very quickly. We ate here every morning during the week and never felt the need to switch it up. That says everything.

Great morning coffee/breakfast joint with Latino flair. And, really appreciate and consistently order the egg whites with a huge American coffee (complimentary refills available). When calories (and my time) are not concerned, I splurge on the blueberry pancakes then relax by scrolling thru the morning headlines. I advise to check this boutique bakery out yourself for its hospitable on-site service or choose its extensive menu for "to-go" and include a lunchtime item to enjoy later in the day.

First, I have to praise the service, which was excellent. And second, the empanada. We went on a Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and there was only one couple there. 30 minutes later, it started to fill up, and the place is small, so I suggest you go early if you want to eat there! The decor is simple, but everything seemed very clean. One criticism is that the menu doesn't have any prices, just the food available. From the menu (without prices), we chose: - 2 lamb empanadas au Malbec $4.25 each (delicious, super juicy and well-seasoned) - Breakfast "Croque Madame" $13.99 (very tasty, generous portion) - American breakfast $10.99 (I've had better) - Pancakes $7.99 (2 huge pancakes). To take home for my daughter, I chose: - chicken empanada $3.99 - Mini pastry "Brownie" $5.99 (she really liked them). I intend to go back to try the Bife Parmigiana that they have for lunch! But they need to put a price on the dishes on that menu.

All I can say is WOW! This Argentinian bakery and bistro is a small and locally owned spot I visited in SoFlo. It is now my new go-to for breakfast! We had: café con leche nutella cream latte croque madame french toast dulce de leche y pastelera factura membrillo y pastelera factura Service was fantastic even though they were PACKED! The café con leche was on point. The croque madame was the stuff dreams are made of! The french toast was thick and delicate and AMAZING! The facturas (Argentinian pastries) were the perfect, sweet ending to an absolutely delicious start to the day! I am used to guava and cheese cuban pastries but the membrillo and pastelera (quince and cream) was heavenly! On my next visit, I will have to try their migas sandwich, a burger, or a pizza!

Absolutely delicious ! I haven't had a tasteful and properly made Milanesa / Napolitano steak in years. I went to my multiple places in Miami and Broward and have always been let down. This place has nailed it!! The seasoning, amount of breading and quality of cheese, tomato and what I believe is ham was perfect. Will def recommend and return. I finished off my meal with a pistachio croissant, only being able to finish half of each of course. Also, perfectly made.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon for a quick bite to eat. We saw that it had good reviews so we wanted to give it a try. This is a small restaurant/bakery that offers a variety of Argentinian food. We mainly wanted to try their empanadas as we were in a hurry. They have a lot to try but only saw a handful of them in the display. Food: we decided to go with the beef and Messi empanada. The beef had good flavor and we enjoyed the dough of the empanada, it was both doughy and flaky. I will say that I wished we would have taken up the lady's offer to had waited 5-6 minutes for them to make them fresh as the ones that were in the display tasted like it had been there since the morning but that's on me. The Messi empanada was nothing to rave about, it just wasn't our cup of tea. They gave us a homemade pesto and chimichurri sauce which really elevated the empanadas so that definitely helped. It's a good price point at $4 per empanada since a lot other places charge $5 or more. The service was great as well, the lady at the counter was helpful and patient.

This was absolutely best random place we have found in a long time. Wife and myself have wanted to grab some food before going to IKEA. We found this place in the plaza next to it. Looked friendly and inviting. Soon as we walked in the aroma in the air was mouth watering. One glance over to the fresh Argentinian empanadas and I was sold. We took the seat next to the front window. We ordered caffe canleche and expresso. Followed by French toast, Spacy beef and Lamb Melbac empanadas and Ham and Cheese croissant. The food we received was absolutely stunning in flavor. It was well executed without any part overwhelming the flavors. So simple yet so perfect. We have enjoyed every bite we took To top it off we ordered Tiramisu as well, and what a treat. It was fresh and not overly sweet. Definitely place to come back and try more of they menu. Definitely recommend!

Went back this morning with a friend for breakfast. The server was not energetic but very pleasant. We ordered scrambled eggs, blueberry pancakes, spicy empanadas and Italian Expresso. The food took twenty minutes in their small kitchen but was hot and fresh. The pancakes were big and fluffy. Well I love empanadas and this one was exactly how I enjoy them - crispy crust and spicy meat. Excellent prices on the food and coffee. The bathroom was very clean, and included a velvet chair?

Chicken empanadas definitely with big portion off chicken inside delicious

I tried a couple slices of cake and they were absolutely amazing--fresh, rich, and clearly made with care. There alfajors also melted in your mouth!! There's also plenty of seating, which is a huge plus. The only downside was the ordering process. Since it was my first visit, I didn't realize you have to take a number (similar to Publix) and wait to be called. I ended up standing in line, not knowing they were serving based on numbers instead. To add to the confusion, numbers were being called out in Spanish, which I don't speak. Once you know how it works, it's probably fine--but as a first-timer, it was a bit confusing. That said, I'd absolutely go back for the food--just probably not on a busy weekend!

I would recommend this as a good place to chat with a friend over a space for studying or working. Especially because I found the staff lovely and conversational. Their prices are far more reasonable than many other local coffee shops nearby which was definitely a major plus. I enjoyed the lavender latte, but would probably only get it hot in the future, and would try a different iced latte flavor. The spicy chicken empanada was delicious and I would definitely get it again. It had a nice curry sauce inside (though it wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be). The ham and cheese sandwich was also surprisingly good. Though simple, they tasted like quality ingredients.

Today, we ordered the Iced Caramel Macchiato, Iced Cinnamon Roll Latte, Spicy Beef Empanada, and their Key lime Pie. The coffees were good, but in my opinion, their pastries and snacks tasted better and left a bigger impression on me. The coffee flavors, I felt like I can find them elsewhere but the key lime pie was nice- just sweet enough and right level of tartness. The spicy beef empanada was nice too or maybe I was just hungry. You make sure to try it and let me know if it was really good or no. They offer indoor and outdoor seating but are both limited so get there at the right time or be ready for Togo. The interior is cleanly decorated and they seem to have put in a lot of time hand writing out the special menu and seasonal items. Yes I would recommend this place to others. Yes I would definitely visit the Wild Mug Coffee Bar again.

Don Pan [pan is Spanish for bread] is also a bakery. It seems you must arrive early for a larger selection of items.
