Visit #1 at this cafe. The front counter had a big food and drink menu with a hard cover book containing several of their foodie creations in full color for true realism prior to ordering. They offer small and large glasses of orange juice that is freshly squeezed in a juicer. Behind the front counter were beer taps offering Modelo, Stella Artois and the Venezuelan beer Polar in bottles. In addition, they have several wine taps. I ordered a macchiato which was freshly brewed for a few bucks. While sipping my drink, I had a conversation with the owner, Nancy, about her cafe and several of her specialty items. The gourmet Avacado or Prosciutto Flatbread looked excellent and will try one when I return. The bathroom was classic style with lime green/white decor and very clean.

Excellent little cafe for breakfast. I would love to come back and try some of their lunch items. They have a book of their plates so your eyes can order for you, yum! Highly recommend the Italian croissant. They have a variety of tea and coffee to choose from. The staff were very pleasant when taking our order at the counter and offering recommendations. This friendly little robot delivered our drinks and food to the table. If you live out west I would definitely recommend trying cafe gourmet!

In search for a lavender latte - I discovered Caffe Gourmet. I have wanted to try this place for a long time and I'm glad I finally did. Welcoming staff (I called prior to the visit to see if they had what I wanted), nice and clean inside and of course - a great tasting latte Next time I go here, I will try the food because the food looks great and the reviews speaks for itself.

Higher end cafe serving coffee and breakfast/lunch. Excellent quality ingredients make a meal to remember. The croissant sandwich was crispy exterior and fluffy on the inside. Had a cappuccino but with less foam. Good taste. Recommended.

Delicious! We stopped here on our way to the keys, and were so glad we did. The food was fresh and exactly what I wanted. I love arepas, and the one I got was pretty unique (salmon arepa), but it definitely held up. Kind of like a Venezuelan spin on a lox bagel. Great place to go if you're driving down to South FL and are tired of the fast food chains.

Caffe gourmet hosted our school's teacher's appreciation celebration. The ambiance of Caffe gourmet is that of a modern coffee shop with artistic statutes of coffee and drinks, which I found very nice. They have a variety of drinks and foods (such as sandwiches, appetizers, and finger foods) to choose from. For our event, we had a select menu of tequeños, prosciutto platter, coconut shrimp, cheese platter, and more. Everything was delicious and packed with flavor. Also we had an open bar so I tried their champagne and margarita, which were great. The service here is impeccable. Everyone was so nice, accommodating, and fun. They truly made our celebration one to remember. I will definitely come back to Caffe Gourmet to try more of their menu items.

What a find! We were looking for a location to meet our kids who live on the east coast of florida and we live on the west coast. We needed a midpoint for brunch. We found Caffe Gourmet and we hit the jackpot. The place was packed but the staff made sure everyone was taken care of. The menu has a plethora of healthy choices, gluten-free alternatives, vegetarian dishes, and just great food. We each had something different. The lattes were terrific a great choice of organic teas, the turkey sandwich was delicious with melted cheese and a freshly baked baguette. The server brought over a special treat, on the house, as we waited for our food, it was their version of a mozzarella stick with a cilantro dip. The level of customer service far surpassed that of many higher end restaurants. This unassuming caffe in a strip mall with acting school, dance studio and other miscellaneous business was really a hit. We will be back. The staff was incredible! PS the lattes all had a different piece of art or message on them. Oh did I mention a robot delivered our food?

I always like looking at the photos of John Offerdahl and his football days, as well as his family. My daughter loves the nova nosh and I have been hyperfixated on the "mess" which made me fall in love with a little honey on eggs. So good! Today's visit I had the watermelon & feta arugula salad. It had almonds, diced cucumber, shrimp and a little Romain. I loved it! My husband had a grilled chicken platter with macaroni & cheese plus broccoli. Could have done without the bacon on the Mac & cheese but it was surprisingly good. All in all, it's not just for bagels! I have to remember to grab dinner there too!

TL;DR: got harassed by the staff for an item they might have mistakenly brought to our table…read more I just had a bad experience at Bonjour. My wife, our 3-year-old daughter, and I went there for breakfast. Because our daughter won't stay seated, my wife and I usually take turns eating. I hung out with our daughter while my wife ordered and ate. Then, we switched. A quiche was brought to the table. I wasn't expecting it, so I asked the waitress to confirm it was for our table. She said, "Yes, it is." I assumed my wife had ordered it, so I ate it. I was about to leave when a manager came over to ask if I had ordered the item, to which I answered, "I don't know." She asked for the receipt, which I didn't have. At this point, three staff members were standing around questioning me about this quiche. One of them brought out a receipt with "154" written on it; our table was 54. They were speaking Spanish among themselves, so I wasn't sure what was happening, but they eventually walked away. I thought the matter was settled. I went outside, and my wife went back inside to wash her hands. The manager approached her to ask if she had ordered the quiche and requested the receipt, explaining that I had probably eaten an item I didn't pay for. My wife hadn't kept the receipt, so we couldn't confirm or deny it. Maybe the person at the counter added it to our order by mistake. Maybe the waitress brought it by mistake and confirmed it was ours by mistake. But ultimately, we didn't make the mistake. Don't harass customers over your own errors. It isn't worth it for a quiche.

Everything is decorated beautifully. I'd say the prices are expensive. But unfortunately, with all the choices and not a lot of people coming, they lack in quality. I'll explain. Framboise cake. It was good. Not too sweet. I could definitely have had eaten another slice Chocofinger taste VERY rich. It was good don't get me wrong. But it was so sweet. I couldn't eat more than two bites. I don't think this one is ordered much because it had a freezer burn or being in The fridge for too long taste to it. Apple pie very different from American Apple pie. The sauce was dry-which is fine so it won't be soggy but it wasn't very good. And made it lack in flavor. I wouldnt get this again. Especially since it was close to $6 Lava cake I don't know if I warmed it up properly, but it wasn't really lava. It was nice and moist inside. This was definitely my favorite thing we tried. And the only thing I would eat again. But it also had the freezer burn flavor to it. Canele my first time trying this one. It was okay. I liked the flavor but it wasn't anything I would get again. Ojo de Tigre it was stale. And didn't have flavor. I wouldnt get this again either. Traditional baguette it was already a little hard by the time I got it. I don't think they are busy enough to be making them fresh throughout the day. But for $3 it was okay. Overall it was a flop for their bakery side. Their cakes are okay. I may try some more. Maybe they are known for their hot food.

We are blessed to have many options of Peruvian restaurants in south Florida that are great, but the hardest part is finding restaurants that have excellent dishes all around. For example, the restaurant may have good ceviche, but their mains aren't strong. They may have great mains, but their desserts just don't hit authentically. Olenka Peruvian Restaurant hits the nail on the head in every area! I was genuinely impressed how much range their menu carries plus, the flavor was not lacking in any round. My favs were their ceviche mixed with fried fish (spicy), their seafood risotto and their alfajores were to die for. Alfajores are minimal ingredients and the easiest to mess up. Round of applause!
