This was such a fun stop. I didn't realize this little coffee shop was inside such a well decorated mall (it really felt like a fair or arcade in there). I had an oat milk latte and it was great--I'm always happy when I feel that the lattes I have while out are better than the ones I make myself at home. Ramy just had some black coffee and also says his beverage was nice. This place had so many cute items for sale: from hydro flasks to rifle mugs to a beautiful stacked tea kettle. I want to go back tomorrow to maybe take a little souvenir home with me from here. Cafe Latte is taking all appropriate COVID measures. Everyone is required to wear masks and social distance, there is no dine-in (I don't think there was pre-COVID either). I'm glad we stopped in! read more

Really cute shop with all kinds of fun gifts for yourself, or others! Good selection of drinks and super nice staff. We got an iced matcha and iced chai, both were terrific! Went in on Sunday afternoon to seaside just to squeeze a last summer beach trip in. Me and my gal were both quite tired from our hike the previous day and decided to get a coffee. We stopped by at Caffe Latte and I'm not much of a coffee drinker so it took me a while to decide, Alex was very patient and was polite on letting me know I could take my time while they made my girls drink first. They were informative on all the syrups they had and flavors without making us feel like we were a pain for having it be explained to us. All in all it was a pleasant and easy experience and I appreciate the pleasant service. Thank you for making our Sunday better! read more

Stopped in while shopping during our annual trip to Seaside. I have never had their coffee before and thought I would give them a try. The mocha was delicious. I had it with Mexican chocolate so I got a really rich flavor. The barista was very nice and suggested an iced mocha for a warm day. What a great idea! She freshly brewed two espresso shots and mixed in real chocolate. Yum! read more

I can't comment on their coffee but the staff is wonderful and provided great customer service. What drew me to this place was the random collection of coffee and tea gift related items. They have a large assortment of tall ceramic coffee mugs and I wanted to get one for a friend. I haven't seen one that comes with a removable sip cover. My BF picked out a cute one and I ended up buying that one for myself and another for my friend. This is a very small and cute shop located within the Carousel Mall. You can't miss it. read more

Great chai! It had a nice spice flavor with a hint of sweetness, very warming to body and soul the way a good chai should be. The concentrate they use is an unusual one I've never seen before, that tastes better and has better ingredients than Oregon Chai and Big Train chai. So awesome to find a place that offers a different, superior chai compared to most places. They carry a variety of alternative (non-dairy) milks so they're very commodious if you have an allergy or sensitivity. The ladies working there were wonderfully helpful and friendly. Reasonable price too. Chai wasn't the only thing on the menu, and I'd love to stop by again and try more drinks next time I'm in Seaside! read more

Pros: 4 stars for cocoa and 5 for actual coffee. I'm going to start on a positive note. This coffee was so good, and I had a decaf, wet cappuccino. It was 8 oz, which was plenty for me. I had frothed coconut milk with it. Just delicious. And it really does put Starbucks to shame in my opinion. I didn't have the cocoa, but my daughter did. She compared it to a place that we went to in Portland, and she stated that it was less sweet than that place, which is a compliment. She said it tasted good, and she would have liked to see there be an option where there was a little less sugar, but it was still pretty good. I am going to list the cons. I have no idea why, but the person behind the counter who took our order was just very unpleasant, She seemed almost put out by having to take our order. I just didn't like that, and she did it with my other family behind me, so I know it wasn't personal. However, I'm getting tired of poor customer service. When the coffee came, It was served with two cups, one being the insulation. That's environmentally unfriendly beyond belief. What was weird is that there were specially designed cardboard cup covers for the cup, and these are meant to keep your hands from getting burned. They're made of cardboard and are recyclable. The coffee and cocoa wouldn't have been hot to the touch. We checked. It might sound like a trivial complaint, but as it is these cups aren't recyclable, which I'm getting kind of tired of. It seems like there should be a type of cup that you could use that would hold coffee for the short of a time as people usually spend drinking it. At the end of this, I actually had to throw out the cups. So it was five people, and that was 10 cups. Also, there were five lids. To me, we need to get back into allowing reusable cups, and even if not that, maybe they can provide them in the place. There has to be another option besides all of this waste. For me, I think I'll just make my own coffee and take it along with me and sit outside. I don't want to be part of this environmental catastrophe. However, this place is worth it in terms of the quality of coffee and cocoa, and I wish that they would come up with the system to make people feel a little bit better about not causing so much waste. They wouldn't be the first copy of place to do this though. read more

I went with my family to Seaside, OR last Friday and the first lady that helped me at the Caffe Latte shop was extremely friendly and welcoming. After leaving the coffee shop and heading towards the beach, my daughter dropped my iced chai down a case of stairs and the entire cup split in half so I just wasted $4 on a drink I only took one sip out of. We hung out at the beach for about an hour, and I figured I would ask the Staff at Caffe Latte if they could remake my drink due to not getting any besides one sip while in their shop. I realize it was not their fault that my daughter dropped the drink, but since my family and I were just visiting the beach for the day, I assumed they would remake my drink just due to good customer service in hopes of keeping a returning customer when visiting Seaside in the future. The same lady that helped me before was no longer there, instead it was a new girl and guy working. The girl responded to me, "You'd like us to remake your drink and you pay for it?" I responded, "No, I am asking if this can be comped because I didn't actually get to drink my drink your cup split in half when my daughter dropped it." She said, "No." I responded to her that Starbucks would have remade it in order to provide good customer service to their customers. Her response to me was, "Well, Starbucks has a lot more money than we do!" I just walked out of their shop at that point. Although the first barista/cashier was very nice & friendly, due to the customer service I later received, lack of awareness for assisting your customers in a friendly manner, and a rude response to a first time customer at their shop, I will not be returning to this coffee shop during my future trips to Seaside, OR and will tell my friends how I was treated if they are planning on taking a trip to Seaside as well. read more

Went in and ordered two coffees- as I went to pick up the first one it was so hot that I could barely hold it- I asked the owner if they could add some cold milk that it was extremely hot and I couldn't hold it- as he took my coffee they placed my husbands drink down at the same pick up counter- I preceded to take my husband's drink to him while mine was being taking care of- I was standing at the pickup station to never receive my coffee- the buff stocky guy asked me what I was waiting on- I told him I was waiting for my remade drink.. he told me to go to the back of the line which I thought was odd- since I already waited in that line in the beginning. After all the customers were gone, in turn he basically told me that it wasn't their fault that someone else got my drink and I need to repurchase a new one because it would cost them to replace it:( that is not what I call good customer service at all- they were very rude and quick to push their mistake onto me- i handed them a drink to remake and they never made sure that I received it back and blamed me that it came up missing- Not going back to that rude place ever again! Thanks for nothing- I paid for a drink which I never received and then you have the audacity to ask me to purchase another one after you let mine disappear and remarked that you saw the man before me take my drink!! Shame on You!! Seaside coffee roasters if you were open I would have been at your shop in a heartbeat! You are truly all about customer service- your girls are friendly, quick and go the extra mile to make sure all goes well!! I'll see you at 6 am! read more

I came in on a Saturday morning before most of the shops opened to get my coffee fix. The girl at the counter was courteous enough, and my drink was made rather quickly. The coffee wasn't anything spactacular, but my standards of great coffee are pretty high seeing that I hail from a region that is pretty well known for fabulous concoctions of the dark bean variety. Perhaps it was what I ordered, but the coffee shots, while strong, tasted a bit bitter and overbrewed. Overall the experience was pretty mediocre but if you are like me, and need coffee to wake up in the morning, and happen to be in the downtown vicinity, Caffe Latte will probably suit your needs just fine. read more

I have to say. I after trying her recommendation for "chowder"....I don't know that I would ask her opinion on food matters again.........Small matter, however......everything else was a memory maker.....cute store, great service and the Caramel Mocha was outstanding. My Darling Husband needed an Excedrin,... I brought it with Us... and a Diet Coke...we purchased that here at Caffe Latte... the Caffeine Helps, you know... to get rid of his Pesky Headache. We have been to Caffe Latte during previous Trips to Seaside, Oregon. I ordered a Sugar free Peppermint Latte, it was Interesting. I have previously ordered a " Candy Cane Latte " elsewhere... and liked THAT, so I thought... Why NOT Peppermint? I do NOT recommend the Peppermint Sugar free syrup in Coffee. Oh well. My Husband liked the Peppermint Latte more than I did. I shared my Husband's Diet Coke... it was in one of the Larger Sized Fountain Drink Cups. I also Browsed the Aprons and Cloth Dish Towels on the Racks,... and I purchased an Apron with a Yellow Bird and Various Lemons on it.... and Two Matching Dish Towels in a Similar Yellow Hue with Multiple Big Flowers and Butterflies on them. There are also Other Items for your Condominium here. There are also Seats to Sit in here, and a Cooler with Bottled Sodas in it, should you Require a Tasty Carbonated Beverage. read more

So far out of all the coffee places I been in seaside, Expresso coffee here has been the best. I ordered my usual soy white chocolate mocha. Not bad and very close to how they make it in Seattle. read more

The coffee is nothing extraordinary but location is key here. Right in the middle of town, convenient for shopping. A nice assortment of gift items and it doesn't take long to get your drink. However the service is lacking. Young employees who are too preoccupied with their phones to care about providing good customer service, or are just downright rude. I prefer not to be treated like an inconvenience when spending money, but maybe that's just me. read more

I've had better coffee, but I'm very particular about my coffee. To be honest though this was one of the better coffee places that I visited. Other than the whole creepy carousel music in the main part of the strip mall the place is nice. The girl that waited on us was very nice and made a decent white pumpkin mocha for me (it's fall and all I want is pumpkin every thing and I hate Starbucks). I did notice that if you are interested in tea they do sell The My Tea Leaf brand which is one of my faves. read more

It is a small, cozy and very friendly space. In addition to serving good coffee Julie, the owner, carries a very nice choice of gift items. If you prefer tea you won't be disappointed. I was very disappointed with the service I received this past weekend. I had a very upset baby-4 months old that was very hungry. I asked for a small cup to heat his milk and was charged 35cents.... I wouldn't have cared... MAINLY because I was desperate but was shocked when the barista made me buy $5 worth of stuff so I could use my debit card... The expensive chocolate I bought wasn't worth it... Thank you caffe latte cashier for leaving am impression of not being very baby friendly. read more
