    Butterfinger Long John

The butterfinger long john is amazing!! Great donuts, great service :) They sell out quick so definitely go early. Perfect snack for a walk on the beach!

Not good. The maple bar was the crowd favorite. Everything else? Meh!

Didn't care hardly any of the donuts we got...and we tried quite a few. They were either too dry or had a weird flavor...or hardly any flavor at all. Definitely won't be going back. The Maple bar was about the only one I enjoyed.

    Half of four donuts.

Came here for my birthday on a Monday morning and got two mochas and four donuts. COVID wise, everything was straight forward. Lots of plastic barriers and hand sanitizer, and the cashier/barista had a mask on. Other reviews say the service isn't friendly here but I found the barista to be perfectly friendly and ordering to be straight forward. Mochas were delicious - chocolate not overpowering the espresso but still very much there. Donuts were also solid. I liked the maple bar the best, and then the apple fritter. Cake donut was fine and the buttermilk bar was just okay. Would definitely drop by again if I go through town again!

We went there last week, place itself not appealing, sort of dark, you don't have any special donuts, just regular. I tried cinnamon sugar and my son strawberry frosted, it was just ok.

Decent donuts but also the only donut option that I could find in Seaside. I was attending a family gathering, so bought a mixed dozen: sprinkles, Oreo topped, chocolate dipped, bacon and maple bars. The sprinkles and oreo topped ones were a huge hit with kiddos. My favorite was the maple bacon bar but it would've tasted better slightly heated. They heavy dip the donuts, so expect a dense and super sweet top with an unglazed bottom. The cake donuts were by far the tastiest but definitely needed a coffee to offset the sweetness.

    Sweet and tasty.

Wonderful tasting fresh donuts daily. Staff was friendly and helpful helping me make decisions.

We were here few months ago. The place was clean. They have good selections of doughnuts but not memorable. We were the only customers at the time but the staff wasn't too friendly. Ha ha I remembered the service but not the doughnuts. I gave 4 stars coz of the variety, coffee and cleanliness of the place.

Save your money and just go to Safeway. I'm not sure why the neighboring bar and grill has an off-shoot donut shop? Or perhaps it's the other way around. But anyway, this little donut shop is on Seaside's main street though downtown. Seaside is a beachtown unique in it's kind here in Oregon. It's reminiscent of a mid-Atlantic beach town with an actual boardwalk, t-shirt shops, guys wearing tank tops walking their pit bulls, and over priced everything! That brings me to this donut shop. Basically it's a little shop selling average looking and tasting donuts at top dollar prices. The venue is small, but adequate if you want to sit and eat. Or I suppose you can walk through the pass through to the restaurant and get yourself a beer. The selection is rather limited with mostly yeast donuts. No cake. The apple fritters looked liked the saddest excuse for an apple fritter I had ever seen. I didn't even bother looking at the price. They were probably around $3-4. I ended buying 4 donuts for $9.50! The exact same donuts at Safeway would have cost me $4.

Wonderful doughnuts that we tell anyone visiting the area to try. The coconut was a standout for us.

The gelato itself was pretty good, but not different enough from a good ice cream that I could tell. They have a huge list of flavors on their website, but they don't make it clear that at any given time they only have a portion of those flavors available, so I had to pick out new flavors for everyone because none of the ones we chose were being scooped that day. I chose the blackberry basil with goat cheese, which was really yummy, and not at all as you're fearing--I tested mostly blackberry, though others thought they detected a hint of basil. They used real blackberries, as evidenced by the seeds (doesn't bother me but some may object). Given this long it took, I don't know if I'd come back again. I think we waited at least 20 minutes. I'm glad we tried them and I'd absolutely return if there was a shorter line, but there are other ice cream shops around that are also well loved and don't have the huge line.

The woman behind the bar, may have been the owner, was so kind, caring and attentive. She made conversation with me over my license from Colorado, asked my name and remembered it as I was leaving saying "have a nice day, Nate" Soooo sweet and kind. A true gem of a human. She even had regulars that she said "I told you when we were on that hike that I owe you a drink so this ones on me" freaking precious. Okay now that I'm done praising the owner/bartender. The food was exquisite too. I got a basic cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese, tomato, onion and lettuce. It was cooked well and was enjoyed heavily and quickly haha. The cook even came by to check that I liked it as well. Very warm place with great food. Much enjoyed. The place was clean and kept up well. This was one of the first dive bars I had been to where they had slots and that was a bit of a twist. I didn't roll the dice on them as the only thing I gamble on is once a year and that the horses at the Kentucky derby. Keeps my gambling in line and doesn't upset the in-laws too much. If I visit Seaside OR again, I will absolutely find myself back here for another delicious burger and friendly interaction.

Crab cakes were expensive and underwhelming. Ceviche was literally nothing but cheap bay shrimp. I ordered the halibut tacos for my main with no mango salsa because of an allergy. It came with mango salsa and the wrong kind of tortilla. Before I could say anything waitress bolted away from the table. I think she knew it was wrong. We had to flag down another waiter after looking for ours for ten minutes, rest of the party had almost finished their food by that point. Two other people had incorrect orders as well but chose to deal with it as it wasn't allergies. Finally got correct order and I wish I would have just sent it back with no replacement. Halibut was almost non existent, it was more of a cabbage taco. The rice was gross and tasted old. The beans were bland. When our waitress finally did come back she said nothing about my incorrect meal. She actually became rude and cold, wouldn't even look at us. I had just received correct meal and two others ordered more drinks since we would be staying longer. Took over 20 minutes to get more drinks and she had become so cold that we were all convinced she might have spit in them. New drinks were left untouched and I left hungry.

We started with the oyster shooters and they were amazing - fresh, flavorful, and a perfect way to start the meal. We also ordered the crab sandwich which was very cheesy in the best way possible, and the soft baguette paired perfectly with it. The clam chowder was honestly one of the best I've had. Perfectly made with a thick, creamy sauce and full of flavor. Definitely a standout dish for me. We also tried the salmon fish tacos. They weren't necessarily "to die for," but they were still really good and fresh tasting. The steamed Manila clams were amazing! This is one of my go-to dishes anywhere that serves them because it can really be hit or miss, but Wayfarer absolutely nailed them. For drinks, we ordered an Old Fashioned and the Purple Hazestack - both were made perfectly. On top of everything, both the waiter and hostess were extremely polite and welcoming.
