Just happened to stop here when visiting Seaside, Oregon. By happenstance we parked in front of the business twice before going in to check it out on a whim. The employee was so amazing and nice. She was offering samples of the smoked salmon (black pepper, brown sugar and sweet/spicy) and the salmon spread. It was amazing and I had the smoke salmon panini plus a Dad's old fashion root beer. There are couple of tables outside we sat at as we enjoyed the delicious food. I totally recommend this place! It's more of a small market than a restaurant with a smoker on-site, so if you're staying the area it's a great place to get some local food to go. I will be back when I'm the area in my next vacation.

A cute little spot to grab sandwiches and snacks before heading out to the beach. The lady warmly greeted us and we chatted while she made us our salmon lox and salmon spread sandwich. We grabbed a few other treats as well. She asked if we we're heading to the beach so she could box it up nicely for us. Great and attentive service. There aren't any seating inside, only outside. A bit pricey, but worth the deliciousness.

Service was wonderful; salmon spread on Asiago bagel was so yummy! So glad this was next to the post office - which was my original destination.

Lady at the counter is sweet. Nice selection of local/semi local artisan goods. Prices on some items are a bit high. Had samples of the smoked salmon, salmon jerky (candy) and some of the cookies. Their smoked salmon is a little on the drier side and not as good as other smoked salmons. Out of the cookies, I liked the molasses and the lemon white chocolate the best. We opted for a smoked salmon and cheese pack. The salmon got juice all over the cheese, the cheese was hard to peel apart and did not have much of a smokey flavor.

We loved Salmon River Smokehouse so much!!!! Everyone was SO friendly! The Salmon spread on jalapeño bagel was ABSOLUTELY to die for. Loved that they had kombucha on tap! This is definitely one of our favorite places in Seaside!

PERFECT lunch stop at Seaside with picnic tables outside! We would totally return! SERVICE- Outstanding! We asked if our little dog could come in, and the worker made her feel SO welcome with a little treat and kind words. She was also sweet and attentive to people, too. FOOD- Oh. My. Goodness. The smoked salmon and cheese we tried were FANTASTIC! We ordered grilled cheese with smoked salmon sandwiches which were slowly toasted to perfection. There was also creamy, tangy sauce which complimented the salmon beautifully. SELECTION in STORE- There was a nice range of locally produced treats. I wanted to try some caramel corn, but saw a kernel in one of the bags (ouch) so skipped that vendor and bought a bag of English toffee. With only a few ingredients, it was simply delicious.

A great time! The market takes up most of the midtown parking lot on Gower St and only runs from June through September. I grabbed a small carton of Oregon cherries and they were so fresh and flavorful. I also grabbed some lunch at the Roast Town BBQ tent and they had the BEST crab cakes I've ever had! I also had a shrimp roll which was delicious. Live music was being performed by the Bar K Buckeroos and really set a fun, western-swing type vibe - they drew quite a crowd as well. Overall the market was jovial and everyone was friendly and having a great time. Some vendors take credit card, some cash only so plan ahead. Parking in Cannon Beach is limited as it is, and since this market is in one of the main public lots the parking situation is even more challenging - but the town is very walkable with several other public lots within walking distance. I enjoyed my visit and feel lucky I got to check out this great local market!

There are 7 acres to roam, they say with varieties ripening from early summer until early fall, but from what I could tell, there weren't obvious sections. And barely true paths. In mid July, we set out to get only a large bowlful to have on our Long Beach getaway, not enough for jam or to freeze. In several more weeks. The picking will be easy, but as it was, we walked away from the barn to the end of the bushes looking for bushes full of ripe berries. Not finding them, we turned back settling on bushes with branches that had small clumps of ripe ones. In other words, we were not cleaning a branch or bush, but rather carefully plucking a small handful on a branch and moving to another. Slow but steady going, with lots of not quite fully ripe, but all delicious! And we had a very fun and peaceful time, with the farm to us and the birds and a tree frog that jumped on my arm. ( I'm not going to lie that I'm not sure if he or I was more startled, lol!) You head back to the barn to self-pay on the honor system, which is also pretty cool. Yeah, great place in the summer. Would like to try cranberrying in the fall!

Instead, I went straight down the road to the farm (closed on the weekends), and a woman screamed me. "Didn't you see the sign???? The farm is closed. You're only the 17th person to come down here." So here's a suggestion: BETTER SIGNAGE. No most people don't know to go to the little shed to get a bucket and pay on the honor system. Aside from that, the blueberries were fantastic and only 2$ a pound, and yes you can pick when the farm is closed. Bring cash.
