The coffee and pastries here are really good however I really have a hit or miss experience with the service here. Today was a big miss. I walked in and saw two people behind the counter chatting so I stood at the register for a few minutes and when someone finally turned around they didn't really greet me they just looked at me so I just began ordering because I work just down the block and had to hurry because I had a client to see in about a half hour. I ordered a plain coffee and a pastry and she barely said a word to me and handed me my pastry coldly and the barista who handed off the drink was also a little cold. I decided to not tip today because I just couldn't be bothered and as someone who works for tips in the body work industry, I'm just starting to get really disappointed in the coldness and lack of customer service there is overall lately. Working for tips is not easy, I do it daily. And i always greet my clients with a smile and a polite manner. read more

I came here to WFH on a weekday afternoon, and I was thrilled with the variety of foods and the spacious work area here. I'm used to going to the Capital Hill location of Caffe Vita, so I was pleasantly surprised by how this location had more parking and food options. I had an AMAZING Apple fritter that was sweet and soft. I also got some bagels and pastries to go - the cinnamon bun reheated well and was quite tasty. Parking was easy and plentiful - I got a spot right outside the entrance of the cafe. The employees are friendly and laid-back. The only complaint I have is that the lighting is a bit lacking, so as the day goes on, most people migrate towards the tables next to the windows. read more

Limited food selection. Food and drinks quite expensive for just something simple they heat up. Staff does not take time to wipe tables or pick up litter in outdoor seating area. I wanted a real cup but they said they only had plastic. What about just washing one mug for me instead of making me waste another plastic thing. The staff of 3 was busy chatting among themselves and nobody seemed interested in washing a cup The 2 bathrooms are both roomy all gender rooms with changing table. I had a great experience here! I got an iced latte with oatmilk that was really good. The staff were very friendly. The bathroom was really clean and nice. The seating in the eating area was comfortable. This would be a good place to sit and stay at for a while. I was able to get parking right in front and it was easy to get in and out of. read more

Space is sweet and staff are friendly. Good selection of food and drinks, but pretty pricey! We got an Americano and one of their specials, the were good but not great and expensive. I would highly recommend their bagels, they were delicious! Even though it was busy, there was still plenty of space and we got our orders quickly. Plenty of seating and kept clean but I could see it getting quite busy. Easy to get some work done with free wifi. A work friendly cafe with plenty of outlets and seating to zone in and get stuff done. There's plenty of parking nearby which makes it easy to visit often - most of the time people park in front or on the street nearby then walk over. My favorite part about it are the big windows which allows for natural lighting in. And also an opportunity for people watching. read more

I love this coffee shop. You won't find the Seattle Freeze here. It's the first coffee shop I visited once I moved to Seattle from Arkansas, and it's the only one I return to consistently in South Seattle. The people that pass through are kind. The baristas are amazing at what they do. The energy is good. The wifi is good. The parking is good. The music is always *chefs kiss*. The beans are strong. It's everything you'd wish for in a neighborhood coffee shop. I literally have no complaints. Pro-tip: always bring a jacket with ya. It gets chilly in there sometimes. read more

There's just nothing like Caffe Vita coffee. We were pleased to find a Caffe Vita after spending a hot day in Seward Park. Located in the Seward Park neighborhood, Caffe Vita is surrounded by other businesses in the small business strip its in. Parking was not issue, as street parking was easy to find right outside the businesses. There's also plenty of neighborhood street parking. I ordered an iced oat milk latte, which was perfect. The espresso was strong and bold, just how I like my coffee and why I love Caffe Vita. I've never had a bad cuppa joe here. They also have teas, juices and snacks like Elleno's yogurt here. The space was large enough to accommodate large groups and individuals working on their laptop, which was the case when we visited. It's nice that Caffe Vita has made a home in the Seward Park area, designated as THE coffee shop around. Felt like a locals kind of place, like any neighborhood coffee shop. I dig that. read more

Roasted: Found this coffee shop in Seward Park. Has an Italian vibe to it. Clean and spacious coffee shop. Good selection of bakery items but they are pricey. No sugar free options available unfortunately. Baristas were very friendly. Latte wasn't offered for here but due to Covid - that's understandable. Both lattes came with nice latte art. I wish the lattes had tasted better to make this visit as I had expected but the espresso was bitter and I could barely taste any flavor to the latte other than the bitterness. Unroasted: Really hard to do an honest review during the Covid era but the staff was friendly and greater as we entered. Selection was mediocre on flavoring and tons of sweets to add. My latte was beautiful with great artwork. The taste was okay. I expected better from a coffee town. If your in a pinch I would stop by but not worth a 10 min drive. read more

Though Caffe Vita is not my "go-to" coffee in Seattle - neither drinks nor beans - I still really like their cafes and always find them pleasant experiences with a nice ambiance. The Seward Park location is great, situated in a wonderful and tiny enclave of shops that includes a great bookstore, bicycle parking, relatively light traffic, and a cool neighborhood feel. The drinks here have been great each of the handful of times I've visited, and the baristas here have been exceptionally nice and friendly. I'll stop in here every time I can. read more

Great place to camp up and get work done! Great vibe! Spacious. Plenty of tables to grab a work space. Fast WiFi. Free Street Parking. Easy free bathroom access. Has outdoor seating which is great for a nice day like today but no outlets outdoors in case you needed to charge up your laptop. I really don't know what great coffee is but the Flat White I got I enjoyed and presentation was excellent. The coconut topped brownie was fantastic as well as the coconut was toasted and the brownie had the right consistency of not being too fudgy or cake like. Coffee is good. Not much selection on food. More for beverages. Ok place for kids but no special facilities for them. On walkable route near bus #50 stop which connects to nearby light rail. Bike ride from Lake Washington or Seward Park. People don't hang out all day but coffee is good. Typical ambiance. Small chain with just a few locations, I think only in Seattle. Your dog can be at outside sidewalk table with you. No stairs. Usually free parking on the street. Across from Third Place Books and next door to a pet shop. Personally I prefer nearby coffee shop with excellent full meals - Both Ways Cafe a 1/4 mile North. At Vita coffee the default is paper to go cup but you can request a real cup and silverware if you are eating in the coffee shop or the very small sidewalk tables. The question is - why didn't I try Caffe Vita sooner?! I've had three mochas here now, and each one has been top notch. The drink has several interesting and delicious flavor notes. With a perfect degree of sweetness, there is a nice design crafted onto the top of the drink. I also like the ceramic cups in which Caffe Vita serves their drinks. Calm clean refined interior, not your typical Seattle rough-around-the-edges coffee house. Plenty of seating here too. Bonus points for playing Norwegian group Röyksopp when I came in the other day. Additional bonus points for Icelander Bjork coming on after Röysksopp. A business has captured my heart when it showcases Scandinavian artists on its sound system, because that's not something you come across every day. read more

This is a super rad place! Going through some of the negative reviews I'm quite surprised to hear some of the reasons why people were dissatisfied. (If someone wants to let me know what a "boutique" coffee shop is that would be rad... to my understanding a boutique is a small store that sold overly priced clothing... er "specialized" garments) Firstly- the coffee here is excellent. It's to my understanding that the baristas go through extensive training; each member of the staff is trained on how to properly make coffee to Vita standards. The environment is always pleasant. Understanding that a business unfortunately can't set the temperature to everyone's personal thermostat preference should be common sense. Lots of places sell things called sweaters, or cardigans (if your looking for that "boutique" look). There's plenty of space, and they even offer outdoor seating. Now onto the staff: as a more often than not anxious human I tend to assume everyone is an ass hole and no one is nice. That way- when there is a brief display of friendliness I can be pleasantly surprised! So far this tactic has worked well. Regardless of that fact- the small handful of people who work here have always been pleasant. There are days when I come in and ask how they're doing (or whatever) and they give genuine answers... like.... maybe they're human JUST LIKE US!!! Cute coffee spot that is in the neighborhood and across from PCC. I went in the afternoon to get some studying done and was surprised at how crowded it was! I did find a table and got a tall mocha. It was pretty tasty and not too sweet, but not the best I've ever had. I love that there are huge windows that allow lots of lighting to come in. I hate those dark dim coffee shops where I'm straining my eyes. The barista was friendly and down to earth. The level of noise wasn't too loud either. I would definitely return since it's walking distance from my boyfriend's house. read more
