Whenever I'm staying in Clearwater, I always make it a point to stop by Caffeinated Bakery. They consistently have a fantastic selection of baked goods, fresh pastries, and delicious breakfast sandwiches. The shop is also very veteran-friendly. All in all, it's a truly great coffee shop that I highly recommend!

Amazing local spot with delicious coffees and breakfast options. I loved that they also had gluten free and vegan options. The breakfast sandwiches were devoured by our party and the croissant was perfection! The gluten free coconut muffin wasn't too sweet nor overly dense. It was a perfect bite for breakfast and the right pastry for anyone needing gluten free. We would go back as soon as possible!

They made your coffee immediately after your order before taking the next persons order. They do cups and plates for eating in if you'd like too! This is not a run in and grab immediately as they have so many folks coming in for coffee and breakfast but so worth it! Their staff is really sweet and the food and drinks are delicious. It is perfectly located if you want to walk to the water to eat or enjoy your coffee.

My daughter and I enjoyed a morning walk to take in the sunrise and decided we wanted iced coffee and breakfast sandwiches. I'd seen this bakery posted in a few Facebook groups and had to give it a try! I love to try 'smaller' coffee shops vs chain/corporate. Definitely try it! You don't be disappointed.

It's a small place, a few tables inside, and 1-2 tables outside. Located in a strip plaza kinda area, across the beach, this place makes for a great place to sit back and relax! They do serve the typical pastries (danish, croissants, etc) along with some typical breakfast items (omelettes, pancakes etc). The owner is a lovely woman who is so nice and kind. I just ordered a coffee and a chocolate croissant before hitting the beach. I sat inside and relaxed, and watched tv for a bit (there is one in the corner). Lucky that the owner also likes Young & the Restless so I could catch up while enjoying my coffee lol I decided to also order an iced coffee, and to my surprise it was free, bc she does free refills :) Love it!

I LOVED my strawberry banana smoothie and the breakfast sandwiches were good, basic breakfast sandwiches and they were made very quickly. The service was really great, we sat outside and were checked on twice - something I wouldn't expect from a place like that! The inside is also very cute and quaint. :) read more

Randomly walked into this coffee shop on our way to the beach. They are having their soft opening now. The owner was very nice and sweet, and made us a delicious iced hazelnut latte. We are visiting from Texas, but next time we are at the beach we will definitely stop by. read more

Wow! A great hidden gem. The iced cafe con leche was well balanced with cream and brown sugar. We shared a croissant sandwich with crispy bacon and a couple of baked goodies so we could taste as much as our bellies could hold. Interestingly, there was some turmeric root on the table for added seasoning that was really awesome! The shop was cute, clean and felt safe due to C19. Yummy!! Thank you ladies. read more

Friendly service from the gentleman working and a very nice selection of options for various diets such as gluten friendly and vegan. We did not have any of the food but it all looked really good! + they had doggie water bowls out front + ample seating inside + free WiFi + free two our parking out-front + ocean friendly cups and products!! +- the latte was good but nondescript - Prices were not listed for the options and was turned off with two large lattes costing over $13 with no added flavors or milk substitutions. read more

Update: The new owner messaged me that if I'm still in the area I could see her and get a good espresso on the house. Now we already left, but this was such a nice touch that I want to believe that this place will serve a great espresso. However I couldn't try it so that's why not 5 stars, but still... half way there :) Bad bad coffee. With such an espresso machine you'd expect some skill behind it. The "espresso" I got was like 4oz, watery, no crema whatsoever... Absolutely not worth the shot coffee-wise, their cookies might be good thou read more

Really tasty cafe con leche in the AM and a nice breakfast panini. Only regret was that I didn't get the cheddar herb scone...looked really good. If you can get there near the open time, it's got to be on the only places on the Island with free (2-hour) parking. read more

Quintessential cafe. Cappuccinos were smooth and flavorful. Blueberry muffin was perfection: just sweet enough, baked just long enough, airy but filling. Bagel and egg sandwich was solid: again, light and tasty but filling. Loved the decor. They clearly thought of every last detail when designing and decorating the space. Prices were not posted for everything, but ultimately were reasonable for what we ordered (two cappuccinos, egg/bagel/cheese sandwich, and muffin for $22ish). Staff were friendly and made sure to get our orders exactly as we wanted them. Overall, great experience! Would recommend this place for sure. read more

This is the best cortado in Clearwater Beach. A very nice coffee shop with an amazing chef. Will make the journey for the rest of our trip while at the Wyndham. I ordered a croissant and an iced cortado, the croissant tasted like it was bought from the store and heated in the microwave. Wonderful, friendly service in a cute space! My mother goes almost every Sunday and raves about the bakery and muffins! Homemade options all looked amazing-banana nut and the cream cheese muffin were AWESOME!!! While on vacation in Clearwater, we had breakfast here and it was pretty busy! They handled things very well though and the employees were nice and friendly. The food was very good and filling! A busy Sunday morning, we were looking for breakfast and I checked on YELP but with little success. Most of the other places recommended had long waiting lines. Then I followed my nose for excellent coffee to this cozy place. We were not disappointed; we had the egg and bacon sandwich on whole English muffin and the best scone I have ever had. Hello. I'll give 3 stars because the people were really nice, but I was rather disappointed with my choice this morning. A croissant that was really small, doughy abd distasteful. Croissants are supposed to be flaky and crunchy on top flavor should be buttery. Obviously your delivery company does not have the best quality. On the other hand The Vegan pastry was good and made from scratch, I'll give you kudos for that. Ttis place have a LOT of potential. You need to work on your prices as well. The tiny croissant, distasteful was $2.75, in California they charge you $2.79 for a extra lg croissant with an egg & ham inside, now think about that!. Also on your Board menu the croissant is listed at $2 but yet you charged me 2.75? read more

My family and I were visiting clearwater, and we were on the hunt for a cute, yummy local coffee shop. This was perfect! The coffee was amazing, and the muffins were so delicious. I got a latte, which was so tasty! The blueberry muffin was to die for. The employees were so nice and made us feel so welcomed. They also had free water. My roommate and I decided to stop by here to get some breakfast and coffee. They were unfortunately out of bagels and their "blacon" but the egg and cheese served on the cheddar and herb scone that I got was delicious. He's irrelevant to the story other than to say, at one point, he was about 50 feet away from us and couldn't say hello. Who doesn't say hello? Anyway, the better half and I had a free night and decided to ask the front desk guy, at our local chateau, if he could recommend a place for good Italian food. Let's just say he's lucky he wasn't at the front desk when we got back. He would've received a good stern talking to. The place looks great and the bread was really good. This is the point in the story where it slowly descended into an experience that was comical if it weren't true. Actually, pretty funny. She ordered the shrimp scampi and I ordered the chicken parm. Orders come out, look great! Now we dig in. As I started to hack into the chicken, I didn't realize this was going to be the highlight. It was ok. You know when you're really hungry and anything is good? It was that level of good. The amount of pasta was tiny but whatever because the sauce was average too. That said, between the CEO of my household and I, we powered through my dish. Now you're probably thinking, "why is she assisting me with my meal when she has her own waiting for her?" Well, I'll explain. She started her scampi which had next to no garlic and stopped eating. She politely offered me a small piece and that's when I realized why she was ripping through my chicken parm. After a small bite, I rescinded my acceptance and returned the partially eaten piece to her plate. Now we're like, gosh darnit. Maybe we should have ordered something different or just asked for more bread instead. Here comes the greeter/manager...We weren't going to say anything but then he comes over and asks us what's wrong because only half of 1 shrimp was consumed. My domestic overlord is trying to be polite and won't say anything. Manager insists. I lower my voice so no one else can hear and just tell him it just wasn't great. When he asked what was wrong with it, I try to avoid saying it but he insists. Who am I to deny a man such a request? At that point I explain that the shrimp was rubbery (if you've ever wondered what it's like to chew on a rubber band that's been lightly buttered, look no further). When I mentioned the issue, we weren't looking for a freebie; we simply thought maybe--just maybe--he'd offer to swap it for something edible. Instead, the manager looked at us as if he had just witnessed us kicking puppies and got super defensive. Not kidding. My life supervisor and I started to chuckle because we couldn't understand the reaction. Not, "I'm so sorry, can I get you something different?" or "I'm so sorry I can have another made for you." Instead, he decides to educate us on how it's one of their best dishes and everyone loves it. "Everyone". I explain I've eaten shrimp scampi all my life and this one was not too good. It's not like we ate the dish. We ate half of 1 shrimp. He looks at me in disgust and say's "from here??" Of course not. Folks, after what I've just said, what could ever make me want to try it a second time? For those of you keeping score out there, having to saw through a piece of shrimp and then chewing on it like it's gum, just to break it down, doesn't scream "mmmmm, delicious". So now he's apoplectic and decides to comp the meal like he was doing us a grand favor, even after we explicitly said that wasn't what we were asking for. It felt like we were hosting an intervention and the guest of honor denies everything that's in front of him because he knows better than everyone else. I mean, I'm happy I didn't have to pay for it but just some acknowledgment that MAYBE it was just a bad day for shrimp scampi would have worked. Apparently that was too avant-garde. Moral to the story...if you ask for feedback and then insist on the specifics, don't then get all irate. Between the incomprehensible welcome, the rubbery seafood, and the gaslighting, it's a no for me, Chuck. And to those of you who think the scampi at this place is good, maybe rethink your life choices. By the way, the chicken parm was edible. 2 stars? Maybe 3 for the effort.

You'll find beers, ciders, vodka based seltzers, wine, and frozen drinks. There is no liquor for on site consumption, but they did recently release their own whiskey, which is actually pretty decent for the low price point. The venue is enormous, with a large warehouse style space that hosts live music. The acts are usually solid, and when there's a headliner, the place gets absolutely packed. The table games scattered around are a nice touch, and during the holidays the owners put up a custom miniature train display that's a big hit with kids. That said, there are some downsides. When the hops are really going, the smell can be rough, and during peak summer months it gets hot and humid as all hell, even with all the fans running. The food is also pretty underwhelming. Most items come with a side of chips. The burger is fine and probably the best thing on the menu, but don't bother with the tacos. They're very basic and the meat is usually overdone. Another major issue is the bathroom situation. The lines are painfully long almost all the time. For a place this big, the bathroom setup feels incredibly inefficient. The women's line is almost always backed up, and even the men's line gets long during busy hours. I also miss some of the old perks. Bartenders used to hand out drink tokens for buy backs, and there was a $10 charity donation wheel spin where you could win free stuff. Those days are long gone, which is a bummer since it added a little fun gambling element with your drinks. Despite some of the drawbacks, this is still one of my favorite places to visit. The bartenders are cool, the crowd is generally chill, and the overall vibe is relaxed. Parking can fill up quickly, but there's a large grassy area in the back that usually saves the day. Overall, it's a solid hangout spot for live music and variety. I just wished they'd improve the quality of food, and at least fix the bathroom situation. Don't mind the food photos, I got hangry!

My friends and I are visiting from Virginia and stumbled across Caffeinated Bakery in search of a quick cup of coffee. We were immediately greeted by the smiling faces of the owners themselves. Our orders were taken quickly as we were spoiled with fun conversations. With complimentary coffee ice cubes, free samples of homemade doughnuts, we simply couldn't have asked for a better experience. Don't miss this adorable owner operated local coffee shop! We had the breakfast tacos with sausage-make sure you get the delicious salsa on the tacos!! The egg & cheese breakfast sandwich was tasty and both decaf and regular ice coffees were very good. There were lots of bakery items like homemade cinnamon buns, and gluten free options as well.
