For a gal who doesn't drink caffeine...I loved this cafe. Welcoming atmosphere with knowledgeable friendly staff who made great suggestions. I had the salmon croissant, it was delicious and full of flavor. The croissant was fluffy and buttery, truly delicious. My husband opted for the avocado toast with salmon, I will have to try it next time. We shared the peanut butter crepe, light and really good. I don't even had a chai with coconut milk, it was hot...I like my beverages really hot. Great first experience, we will definitely be back.

caffeine is well decorated which brings a great ambiance and plenty of space to do work as well. The coffee is pretty avg and they have the typical selection. Raspberry croissant was also decent and they have a host of other baked goods/breakfast items

Came to Caffeine with my friends thinking this would be our new favorite study spot because it looks so cute in pictures. To be honest, we were a bit underwhelmed. The drinks are flashy with fun flavors, but they tasted average at best and are a bit pricey. The interior is cute, but the space is long and narrow with windows only at the front of the shop. I would stop by if I were in the area, but would not travel to come here.

Cute coffee shop. My friends are the coffee drinkers and they enjoyed their drinks. I just ordered the pan de raisin. It was yummy. Just wish they'd heat it up for you (Unless you have to ask then that's my bad). They only had one person working to fulfill all the drink orders and at one point there were like 5 people waiting. The worker did a great job.

This is a coffee spot in Lakewood that I can see myself going with friends for brunch and a nice chat, or getting some studying done. It was pretty crowded even before COVID precautions were completely lifted though, so if you're more into a quiet study environment this might not be the best choice for you. I got the beet latte, which was a lovely pink color and had a subtle earthy taste. My friend got the white fruit tea and it tasted watered down, but that's also the charm behind white tea I suppose :P Regardless, it wasn't fruity enough for either of us. We both got croissant sandwiches, and even though the filling of the sandwiches were decent, the croissants seemed a bit stale. So while shop appearance was a 5/5, the food itself left something to be desired. But maybe we just got the wrong items, I seem to always hear a lot of good things about this place!

Really cool coffee spot with nice chill vibes! The atmosphere is clean, bright and spacious with an awesome feature wall. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Really great place to catch up on work or studying! The lattes we got were so good and made with very professional latte art. The music is chill and upbeat which goes very well with the feel of the space. At the time we were here they were out of bread and croissants so we will have to try those next time. If you're looking for amazing coffee and a cool place then this is the place for you!

Loved this place because the staff was just that amazing. I got their turmeric latte which was delicious. I was so surprised to see a turmeric latte on their menu. I work right next door and I always pass by this place and it didn't occur to me to check it out except for today. Definitely happy I made the stop!!!! Loved it.

Caffeine has a great vibe inside. This is exactly the type of coffee place that I like to visit and just sit down for a while. It's a good spot to meet with someone or to bring a laptop and do some work. They have some great cold drink options like the frappe which I would definitely recommend. They also offer some sandwiches and pastries if you're looking for something light.

I stopped here today for a quick meeting. Because its located on a main drag, expect to be patient for parking and find a street meter spot nearby. Caffeine is a new coffee spot in Lakewood located across the street from Melt and next to Panera Bread. The interior is so cool - almost too cool for me! They've put so much thought into the decor. The space has sleek, tufted couches, artificial and real plants throughout, a faux fireplace and various oriental rugs. They also have listening stations with fancy headphones (not totally sure about why that is, but cool!). They are definitely still working out kinks with service since they are new. In addition to coffee and tea, they offer croissants, frappucinos, smoothies and some other small bites. The wi-fi was fast and the seats were fairly comfortable. I would come back here soon if a good parking spot was available! I can appreciate their effort to make themselves distinct and interesting amongst all the local coffee shops. read more

Lovely and modern place! The cafeteria was newly open and had beautiful interior. The interior reminded modern industrial style with touch of a living wall. I loved the spacious room with comfy seating. I ordered waffle with ice cream. Gosh! It was heavenly good! One minus, after time the ice cream melted and it was uncomfortable to eat waffle wrapped in cone. Also, I had a tea- true cafe offered 3 types of teas and plenary types of coffee. Very cool vibe, a great attention to detail in the interior design and to the small but delicious menu. We had two croissants, the Meat Lover and the Breakfast croissant. The croissants themselves were great and the Meat Lover was delicious with cured meats in it. The salad was fresh and tasty as well. The drinks were good too though the mocha was a little on the sweet side for me, next time I will ask for less. Interestingly my wife's Caramel Latte was less sweet. They use Hartzlers milk. Service was great and prices were reasonable for the quality and the design of the place. I will be back to try more. read more

I found Caffeine on Yelp while staying in Cleveland for my Birthday weekend. What an adorable coffee shop! I wandered out of my comfort zone and tried the Iced Rosemary Lavender Coffee. I am SO glad I tried this! I expected it to taste like soap... to my surprise, it was DELICIOUS! My taste buds were tantalized with incredible subtle flavors that enhanced the coffee. My husband had a Nitro Coffee which he also loved. The Decor was bright and fun and made me smile on a gloomy, rainy day. I wish I lived closer and could visit at least once a week, but I am in Indianapolis. But, I will visit here again! read more

This is a great spot to catch up with a friend over coffee, study or work, or even pop in for a coffee or tea. I've have their cold brew multiple times and it's great. Not too strong but nice and refreshing. The avocado toast is also to die for- they also always have interesting lattes and seasonal drinks. read more

Great ambiance, great unique coffee selections, and great menu! Employees are real helpful and kind as well. I only wish they had a choice of low glycemic breads for their sandwiches for us 30 to 40% pre-diabetics/diabetics in this country (and growing fast). I would love to be able to get a salmon lox sandwich on a pure rye or pumpernickel (no white flour) bagel or toast, or a sprouted grain type bread. I'm also wondering if they have coffees made with Stevia sweetener? I'd be there every day if they did. Lastly, Lakewood should be ashamed of themselves for making parking so challenging and difficult! Parking should be free and plentiful, especially if they want business patrons visiting their town. Business owners should vociferously complain about this! I'm sure this is affecting their bottom line, as many potential patrons will avoid Lakewood precisely because it is such a P.I.T.A. to park! read more

Solid place with top-notch service. Highly recommend their lattes and drip coffee. When the power went out during a thunderstorm, they still finished up our friends' orders while working in the dark. One of the baristas even set up a makeshift lamp for us all with her phone and a white screen. That's dedication. read more

Found this amazing coffee place while visiting in Lakewood and wow! was I impressed. I tried the lavender vanilla coffee with almond milk and it was made SO well, the lavender wasn't overpowering the flavor and I was surprised to see so many alternative milk options. Ample seating, beautiful minimalist decor, food and drinks where top notch. A little in the pricy side. Parking is a pain to find, but doable. My only complaint is the less service. I wish the girl at the counter was more welcoming, but everyone can have a bad day. Will definitely go again. read more

I might have just found my favorite new "work from home" spot in Lakewood! Tried Caffeine for the first time this morning and I loved it! The decor is beautiful with plenty of seating and even some outlets so I could charge my laptop. I ordered the vanilla bean latte and the breakfastt Croissant. They were both delicious!! The croissant was flaky and warm, the egg was fluffy and all the veggies were fresh-- so so good! The music was calm and pleasant, the perfect atmosphere to get some work done or chat with a friend. The workers behind the counter were really pleasant and they had a nice rapport with the regular customers who came in. There are so many coffee shops/cafes in Lakewood but this one is certainly worth a visit!! read more

Love this place! I'm new to the area and I first got them on DoorDash. I was stunned by how good their sandwich was that I had to go in person to eat and get a coffee. I got the mocha which was super good. And the croissant breakfast sandwich. Literally the best croissant I've ever had. I also got a smoothie and that was delicious too! Prices are great and for the quality it is well worth it. No complaints here on any aspect of this cafe. I will be returning and become a regular and have already told multiple people about this place. read more

Stopped in for a coffee. The decor is super cute and comfortable. I had to get to work-- but on another day I would like to sit and enjoy the fire. This was my first time in and I had high expectations due to friends telling me about how good their experience was. I came in on a Sunday afternoon around 2:30pm, the cafe closes at 8pm, keep this in mind. I was craving a breakfast croissant only to be informed by the employee that they ran out of croissants. This disappointed me a little bit I still ordered the sandwich having to replace the croissant with toast. I live about 45 minutes from this cafe and I don't know if I should call in next time to see if they have croissants or not. I just did not expect them to run out of a bread that most of their food menu revolves around 6 hours before the cafe is supposed to close. Other than that the cafe itself is cute and aesthetic, but detailing on the cleaning could be improved ie. floors,windows,doors. read more

Visited Caffeine for the first time a few weeks ago for a quick breakfast to go. Love the decor inside- leather tufted couches and a fire place. I ordered the green smoothie and it was delicious! They only have three flavor options, but it might be my new go-to smoothie spot. My husband and I also split a breakfast sandwich which came with a salad on the side- also v good. I'll definitely be back to try some more items on the menu! read more

The place was very clean which was great and they had someone wiping down couches and tables frequently. The coffee was pretty good, though it was quite sweet. I got a lavender vanilla latte with almond milk. Definitely overpriced, almost $8 for a medium. They do have a nice couch and fireplace but I didn't get the cozy, local vibes I was expecting for the top rated place in cleveland. read more

Best cappuccino I've ever had!! Ordered it with almond milk. I'm sad I didn't get a photo but we ordered to go so it was in a plastic cup. Next time I'm in Cleveland I'll be making a special trip just to stop here for a cappuccino and I want to try their avocado toast! read more

This is one of my favorite cafes! Amazing drink selection - gotta have "the Grinch" while it's on their seasonal drink list! Pistachio syrup and cardamom with a shot of espresso? Run, don't walk to this place! They've also got some of the sweetest baristas and chefs running this place. So warm and kind, and the compliments on my shoes put me in the clouds. They also know how to curate a wonderful sammy. The croissants that they bring in from Stone Oven are incredible and it really made my sandwich a good memory! Ily bby I'll be back soon. read more

Came in for a safe haven before traveling back home to Cali and we were able to grab a spot on the couch to enjoy our morning coffees and breakfast croissants. We really felt like the timing was perfect because we were able to witness the epic trio behind the counter get down with one of the craziest rushes we've ever seen! The line was literally never ending for 1.5 hours and they absolutely handled it like champs!! If we are ever back in Cleveland, we will definitely be stopping by again. Of note is that both sides of the business have the same entrance. They're working on dividing the space into two separate ones according to my quick chat with the employee.
