This was my first visit to Savor the Moment and it was delightful. This coffee shop has been open for many years and appears to have many regulars. While we were enjoying our coffee a gentleman came in and drew an amazing drawing on their chalkboard commemorating Women's History Month. When he was finished he chatted with staff and drank his coffee. One customer pulled up a chair behind the counter. The entire experience seemed wholesome and genuine. The coffee was very good and we enjoyed chatting with the couple at the table next to us. When they left we ended up chatting with a couple at another table. Everyone was very friendly. This is a gem of a place... truly it's like stepping back in time... in a very good way!! They have SOOOO many options for coffee (iced or hot), pastries, & breakfast sandwiches! We ordered off their "star studied drinks" menu.... We went for The Elvis.. a peanut butter banana mocha.... & OMG!!!! Might be my new favorite coffee! Our first order we didn't think they had any breakfast sandwiches, but there is a little menu at the front... so keep your eye out!! We went back to order some sandwiches... and guess what? Ordered another Elvis to share bc it was THAT GOOD!! Their sandwiches were delicious and classic! The cook even delivered them himself and he was so so kind!! Wait, hidden gem? Hidden to me, anyway. There were plenty of people inside on a Saturday morning. It's eclectic, maybe a little cheesy-in-a-good-way. Lots of signage. I liked that there was a mix of tables and counter seating. We had an egg and bacon sandwich on a croissant. There were a few bread and meat options to pick from. Solid and reasonably priced. I'm snobby about coffee and tend to avoid my standard drip when the menu features flavored roasts so I went big and got a peanut butter mocha. It was dessert in the morning and it was delicious. There are lots of items for sale. I bought a possum and spaceship mounted to a small geode. I can almost certainly say it was one-of-a-kind. Anyway, loved the experience and will be back. read more

I stopped in on the way to the airport and I'm so glad I did! Savor the moment seems like a neighborhood dive bar, but for coffee. There are cheeky signs and nicknacks everywhere, which I love. Their drink menu is quite extensive, but all handmade with care by the very friendly staff. I ordered a coconut macaroon latte and it was phenomenal. Prices are very reasonable as well. In addition to the drinks, they have some food items, coffee beans, and locally made nicknacks for sale (yes I bought some lol). I will definitely be a repeat customer. read more

West Parker's have a fierce loyalty, if not cult-like devotion to their favorite coffee establishments. I posted my thoughts about the new Starbucks in the West Park shopping center a while ago and was inundated with replies about other places I should visit, each better than the other. There is a good assortment of coffee choices in the WP that are worth your time to visit. On a cool Friday morning around 9 AM, I decided to stop by the extremely popular Savor the Moment coffee shop. I nearly drove past the place. STM is in a non-descript building, but don't let the dull façade fool you. STM is full of light and warmth. You will be greeted by a proud old cast iron stove, and beyond is a spectacle of oddities covering every inch of the walls. This unusual collection consists of so many items, it would take several visits to take it all in. At first glance I noticed a collection of old percolators, antique signs of all kinds, a homage to the 3 Stooges, a Rhino head, and a toy stuffed tiger. Lording over all this rag-tag menagerie of items is the symbol of Cleveland itself - the leg lamp. Absolutely nothing conforms in the place. There is almost every form of seating known to man including stuffed leather chairs, stools, and a wooden table and chairs you may have in your kitchen. I decided to sit at the retro style milkshake bar. Two girls with their mother were spinning dizzyingly on the red padded stools. My senses being so overloaded, I almost forgot I came for coffee. STM has the most outrageous chalkboard menu. They have the usual, expected list of items, but also a selection of "star studded" coffees like "The Elvis", "Dirty Harry", and "The Meghan Markle". They have a wild assortment of teas displayed in Mason jars behind the counter with names like "Blood Orange", and "Fruit Cocktail". These are a special blend of teas I doubt you'll find anywhere else. STM also has a decent assortment of rolls, cookies, and pastries to complement your caffeine. On a Friday morning it was primarily an older crowd of retirees. There was a steady flow of younger, neighborhood types standing in line, checking the time on their phones, in a hurry to get to work. There were so many things to write about, I feel that I haven't given the place a fair shake. Very eclectic charming diner type business with friendly employees and plenty of seating inside with some tables outside as well. They have baked goods and breakfast sandwiches at really reasonable prices. For $1.35 you get two small flax bites which are deliciously soft nutty mildly sweet bite size baked pieces. The lemon cake donut I had was so moist and full of flavor which is unexpected for a coffee shop donut. They have a large drink list ranging from many flavors of black tea to no sugar added smoothies and all types of hot and cold coffee based and non-coffee frappe drinks. read more

This place pulls up as the only thing that's open amd near by before I take the final leg of my trip to my grandmas house. It's a very easy going vibe in here. Placed is decorated in 50s decor (Attack of the 50 ft woman poster, Lone Ranger lunchbox) and random stuff like a rhino head on the wall serving as a rubberband holder. More couches than tables to sit on. Comfy. Staff was super nice and friendly. Had an Orange cranberry scone, which was actually scone-like: most US scones are just cake in a triangle shape, this reminded me of scones in Ireland. Solid, not too hard, not too sweet, quite nice. Bacon, egg, cheese on everything bagel: typical, nothing surprising or bad. Didn't have hot sauce :( Overall really liked it. So few non-chain places of any sort in Cleveland it was wonderful to find a cool coffee place we liked. read more

Stopped in here for some espresso after my flight into Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. It's not that far from the Airport. It's a cool little coffee shop - quirky, eclectic, and fun! I ordered a triple shot iced latte - I wanted whole milk - but they don't carry whole milk. So they mixed 2% and Half & Half to get a similar consistency. Drink was strong, potent, and delicious! I love Savor the Moment. Its an "off-the-beaten-path" coffee shop, but well worth the stop. The owner is great! I recall stopping a year or two ago and not having cash (I only carry credit) and he gave me my coffee free of charge. I've only experienced hospitality like that in the South! PS they now accept credit!!!! :) They offer a wide variety of tea and coffee drinks, sandwiches and soups for lunch, and pastries. While I haven't tried anything but the coffee, it looks good. They always make my espresso beverages perfectly and I don't have to explain the directions like I do at the big-box stores. Wi-fi is available. There is plenty of room to set up shop and stay a while. I always see some old men in there ( I have the feeling they come every day) and a few women meeting for afternoon coffee. Met a friend here for lunch because she is an avid tea drinker and a regular at this establishment. Overall I thought this was an interesting little cafe...they serve various coffees and teas, as well as food items and various bakery. The service was very friendly and accommodating, but the food was very mediocre and not memorable. My friend got a breakfast sandwich that looked identical to a frozen breakfast sandwich you buy at the store. My panini was the Mediterranean, which she recommended. It was't bad, but it was small and not something I "can't wait to come back for!". My cappuccino was actually pretty good, and so was my friend's iced tea. I will come back to try some bakery, other teas, and perhaps grab some of their loose leaf tea or cutesy gifts. I wanted to give this place three/3.5 stars, but knowing that it's a local shop with friendly service and good tea and coffee products, I rounded up to 4. Savor the Moment is a classic example of a great neighborhood coffee shop. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the interior is full of antique knickknacks and vintage barstools. The coffee is some of the best around and the pastries are all made locally. I'm pretty sure the coffee is roasted locally as well. There's always the regular crowd in there and it's not hard to become one of them. Theres a big selection of espressos and teas along with a lunch menu. Just purchased a home in this beautiful area and would drive pass every morning on my short trek to work. I'm so glad I stopped in to this welcoming coffee shop.
