Iced drinks = biggest dublin scam of 2018 The iced green tea mango drink was light on the tea and mango but heavy on the ice, and the little flavor it had reeked of artificial sweetness. I was originally going for 2 stars, but after finishing this drink, I've noticed it's literally 75% ice cubes by volume!

Great cafe to hang out and work or meet up with a friend. Good coffee. They have gluten free goodies, if you're in to that. No full-fat milk for my coffee. why?

One of not many places in IFSC area open for coffee during a weekend (especially on Sunday). Soy milk available, friendly staff, decent coffee and comfortable sitting area. Go, take the laptop with you, sit down, for a few minutes, for a few hours, especially when your housemates annoying you :-). Another plus of Cafe Nero are the long opening hours - you can go there after work (for hot chocolate for example :-))

A really nice cafe with chilled atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the coffee was very tasty.

I really liked the seating and rustic interior of cafe Nero with the nice comfy sofas and slightly dimmed lighting. The coffee is quite inexpensive and not bad, and they have a nice selection of desserts as well as pre packed sandwiches, the usual. It's fairly quiet as well making it a great place to read or study, and there's plenty of nice seating at the back. Nero is another chain coffee shop; coffee sizes being that bit smaller than the big mugs you get at Starbucks and Costa, but still good for the caffeine fix or to sit and relax.

Knowledgable staff unfortunately, there was no gluten-free options for food there as other comments led me to believe.

Great place. Best coffee this side of Milan. Good pastries. The use real whip cream on the coffees. Give it a try.

Best cafe Nero I have been to, I obviously love their lattes, they actually taste like the coffee I would get at home (Portugal).

Since I don't eat red meat, I was very excited to see a vegetarian Irish breakfast option. I ordered this as well as a mocha latte. Despite the rain, my friend and I sat outside since all of the indoor seating was occupied. Thankfully some heaters provided warmth for what could've been a chilly breakfast. Very quickly the lattes came out which my friend and I sipped on. They were soooo cute, mine had the design of a little bear on top! The latte itself was hot and not too sweet, the perfect start to the experience. After a few short minutes, the food came out! Immediately, my friend and I dug in. It was honestly everything I expected and even more! There were no weak links on the plate and there were generous portions as well. I sat there for a while working my way through my delicious plate!! Overall, I was very happy with my experience at Beanhive. It was an aesthetic cafe that also provided a hearty breakfast. I would definitely recommend.

The potato cakes were ok but the avocado served on top was not all the way ripe and therefore a little hard and not very flavorful. My Greek beleni was ok too It was spongy in texture which is to be expected. It didn't have a ton of filling. Everything here was just a little bland. Well cooked and priced appropriately.

The portion sizes kind of seem small but that could be because my girlfriend and I split everything and it was basically a couple of bites from each other's dishes. We got the blueberry lemon pancakes, and a meat dish for the needed protein, so one savory and one sweet, the way breakfast is meant to be worshipped and devoured simultaneously. Beautiful, small place that gets packed very quickly. Interestingly enough I thought it was a French bistro, but I believe the owners hail from Ukraine as that is the country flag that was hung outside the shape if my world history learnings are correct. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and would come back in a New York minute if I get the chance to visit Dublin again. As always people SYOY!!!

Sunken below street level it feels more off the main path and you have to keep your eyes out to find it easily. Walking in the place has a real chill and cozy vibe up front. I was seated right way and ordered off their all day menu. I got their Double Baked eggs, brown soda bread, bacon, sausage and roast tomato. For my tastes the double baked eggs were overdone, but that's double baked for you. Everything else was so delicious though that I truly didn't even notice. It was a wonderful pile of meat overflowing out of a little skillet with a stack of soda bread and butter. Truly it was a delight. I also ordered up their irish coffee. This was especially fun because it's not a simple shot of whiskey, coffee and cream. They create a brown sugar syrup blended with the whiskey to cook off the alcohol but retain the flavor. This means you can day drink and not even bat an eye at it being strange. The flavor was delicious and I'll be trying to recreate this at home for sure.
