I really just went for the latte art and it didn't disappoint! Friendly staff and great customer service. Shop is fairly small and limited seating outside but worth it! Art is made on every order so be patient! Matcha latte was delicious and snoopy was adorable!
Went for the latte art, and left with a whole bunch of goodies. Beanhive is amazing and a must-stop in Dublin! Don't miss out on their muffins - they are outstanding (we got the lemon poppyseed and it was incredible). Their staff are incredibly talented and the latte art is such a great touch. I've shown photos of my Beanhive coffee to anyone who will listen since we've gotten home from our trip. Great shop - make sure to stop in!
Absolutely delightful! The staff were very sweet and the coffees were so fun. The art drawn on top was unique to each person, which is such a special touch! It's a small place, but absolutely worth a quick stop in!
What a special place! There's not a lot of seating. Coffee wasn't spectacular (I find that most coffee in Ireland is average), but the artwork makes this a unique and fun experience.
This place is awesome. This was hands down the best breakfast I had while visiting Ireland. Although it was definitely way too much food for me, it was so good! Bonus points for the cute latte art! I can't wait to come back here the next time I'm in Ireland.
Wonderful little cafe that perfectly blends tradition with a modern twist. You order at the counter, and they bring your food to the table. We went for a Super Irish Breakfast (adds hash browns, mushrooms, and pudding to the classic) and it was exactly what we needed for our first morning in Dublin. Portions are generous enough that you could split this and be satisfied. It also comes with your choice of coffee or tea. Do note that there is VERY limited seating inside, with a few benches to sit outside as well.
Visiting Ireland for the first time, I did my best to read up on good places to grab breakfast in Dublin and the Beanhive Café popped up on a few lists, Reddit posts, so I put it on my list to try and I'm so glad I did! I walked in on a Wednesday morning and went straight to the counter and grabbed a menu. The young man and woman behind the counter were incredibly courteous and gave me plenty of time to look over the menu. The inside is pretty small with three tables that are pretty tight. There are a few tables outside too. I placed my order soon after then grabbed a seat inside at one of the tables. I ordered a few things, starting with an Americano and an apple cinnamon scone. I really wanted one of their scones but saw only one in their case, but lucky for me, they had JUST pulled out several more scones from the oven! That scone, my goodness, was amazing! The perfect consistency of the exterior being the right level crispy, golden and the inside moist and buttery with a nice hint of cinnamon and plenty of fresh apple pieces. Not much later though, my Breakfast Buzz wrap arrived and wow, this was so good! This wrap held two fried eggs, grilled bacon, red onion, hash browns, cheddar cheese, mixed lettuce, and tomato relish. This wrap was seriously one of the best meals I had in Ireland! There was so much flavor and it was plenty filling, albeit I did have a scone with it too, which itself was pretty big. I was very happy with the wrap and scone, honestly, I am kicking myself I didn't come back here again during my trip. I read that Beanhive Café was famous for their latte art, so I decided before I left to order one. The gentleman behind the counter made pure art with my latte, with a design of the Dublin skyline - It was beautiful and it tasted delicious! I absolutely loved everything about Beanhive Café, from the courteous staff to the amazing food! The scone is top two best I've ever had and that breakfast wrap was incredible. Of course, the latte art is amazing and if you've never been, you should order one of their lattes or another drink where they do this, which are marked on their menu. All I know is that if I come back to Dublin, I'm coming back here for breakfast!
Beanhive is a small coffee shop providing cute latte art. The menu indicates which drinks can be made with latte art. I got a matcha latte; it had a mild matcha flavor and not overly sweet, which is how I like it. Since it was my first time in Dublin, I asked for Dublin art. The cafe was busy and the barista made my drink relatively quickly. The space is very tight and the tables are close together, so it's not the most relaxing if you want to sit down for awhile (1 star off), however, I can still appreciate having creative art on my latte.
Beanhive is a lovely spot for breakfast, coffee/tea, smoothies, and pastries for tourists in Dublin. Locals were eating here as well. It's conveniently located near St. Stephen's Green and other attractions, and a great place to try a full Irish breakfast, especially if you're vegetarian. They also make beautiful latte art - my floral chai latte made my day!
Small cafe, but the latte was amazing. I also tried two of their massive muffins and both were delicious. The place is incredibly small so you may not be able to find a seat however the park is across the street and a good place to sit and people watch.

This cozy little shop to add to your list of "Dublin eats". They serve some of the most beautiful art de la creama that almost makes it impossible to drink your coffee coz you'll fear destroying it. They have a full spread of Irish breakfast, I had the vegetarian plate. It was delicious.. there is a reason people lineup here, everything they serve is great. I enjoyed every bite. The staff were amazing they made sure I had a table before taking my order. This place is worthy of all the fame it has received on Instagram.

A friend and I came here to get some Irish breakfast and cute lattes!! The first thing I noted were all of the delicious pastries on display. Next, I took a look at the menu! Since I don't eat red meat, I was very excited to see a vegetarian Irish breakfast option. I ordered this as well as a mocha latte. Despite the rain, my friend and I sat outside since all of the indoor seating was occupied. Thankfully some heaters provided warmth for what could've been a chilly breakfast. Very quickly the lattes came out which my friend and I sipped on. They were soooo cute, mine had the design of a little bear on top! The latte itself was hot and not too sweet, the perfect start to the experience. After a few short minutes, the food came out! Immediately, my friend and I dug in. It was honestly everything I expected and even more! There were no weak links on the plate and there were generous portions as well. I sat there for a while working my way through my delicious plate!! Overall, I was very happy with my experience at Beanhive. It was an aesthetic cafe that also provided a hearty breakfast. I would definitely recommend. read more

As we travel, we seek unique coffee shops wherever we go. Beanhive is cozy and has a great following. We both had muffins which were good. We had cappuccino which was great. The cute artistry in the foam adds to the experience. Fun place. read more

In a charming, less-touristy neighborhood. Known for amazing coffee art (only on certain types of drinks like cappuccinos, mochas, and hot chocolates) and Irish breakfasts. They also have vegan and gluten-free options, including for the Irish breakfasts! This spot was totally worth the bus ride and walk from our hotel. There was a long line upon arrival but it moved quickly. Make sure to snag a number and a menu from inside before getting in the line. Once your number is called and table ready, you order and pay inside and tell them your table number. It was super convenient, as we could leave when ready instead of waiting for the bill. What'd we eat? Full Irish breakfasts, of course! We also split a strawberry smoothie and got oat milk lattes (small extra charge for non-dairy milk alternative). My body was in shock having something with fruit for once on the trip. Ha! Everything tasted amazing and the service was impeccable. The white pudding and sausage were stars of the show. If we travel back to Dublin, we will come back again in a heartbeat and grab a mocha for the coffee art. read more
What an incredible find!! The place is tiny with very few tables inside and more outside and was very busy. It's definitely worth waiting for and the prices are amazingly low! Just check out the art on my hot chocolate for only 3.88 euros!! My daughter and I split the Avocado Supreme wrap; huge and so delicious!! Ingredients: Avocado, 2 Fried Eggs, Grilled Bacon (or choice of Meat), Tomatoes, Onions, Mozzarella Cheese, Baby Spinach, Black Peppers, Beanhive Sweet Mustard, Beanhive Cream Sauce for 10 euros!! read more

So happy to find they had a vegetarian Irish breakfast and we had to try it. It was delicious!! So happy we went. We also had their muffins (blueberry was our favorite but also got double chocolate and lemon raspberry were yummy too) and they have gluten free and vegan muffin options! Really enjoyed their food and highly worth trying while in Dublin. read more
The service here was super nice and efficient, and the designs on the coffee were really cool! The actual flavor of the Mocha and Latte were pretty average, the mocha suffered from the very common mistake of all the syrup on the bottom with no stirring so it was basically a latte for 3/4 of the drink and then a chocolate bomb. The latte was a solid standard latte. read more
Cute latte art but average drinks. I love how there are lots of vegan options on the menu. Matcha latte was pretty disappointing - I could barely taste the matcha. Went here 3 times and had varied experiences with the staff - some were nice & others rude. Service was quick. Muffins were delicious (the low gluten was better than the vegan in our opinion). You are not allowed to request the theme or design of your latte art which kinda stinks. The first time we went it was beautiful and colorful. After that it was more simple and basic. Fun to go here at least once but not sure if I'd frequent it. read more

Stayed in Dublin for a few nights and every morning we went to the "Beanhive" for their very tasty and authentic "Irish Breakfast". Considering the hotel we stayed at wanted 2x the amount for the same breakfast layout, this place is a major win. You can get takeout or eat at one of their outdoor tables. Noteworthy, they make a very good latte and or Capuchino with cute art work. read more

Over all this place was pretty good. Beware: it's very small!!!! Barely any seating (only like...6 tables total inside and outside). Servers were kind and patient. I got the Irish Breakfast which was very good!! A tad more expensive than other places I have been to around the area. Our drinks were also very good, I appreciate that they still made a design in my latte (it's a lion hehe). With that being said, as much as these drinks are adorable, it may be stressful trying to get a seat here. read more

We had a 24hr layover in Dublin and asked locals where to get breakfast and I'm SO glad I listened. This was someone of the best food I've ever had. I told the gentleman at checkout we were in town for 24hrs and it was our first time in Dublin and he made me the sweetest latte. I will be back!!! read more

you won't regret coming here if coffee is your thing. What this cafe has going for itself is just so magical. I found out after if the place isn't busy you can request a certain design and i wish i had shown them a picture of my dog. I love how personal the experience is and will for sure be back. The coffee doesn't just look beautiful - it's great! I did have a salad as well and recommend. read more

1000/10 . Someone suggested I go to Beanhive bc of their custom coffee art. Usually I think the barista will choose the coffee art design, but I asked if it was possible to do a specific design. AND BOY DID THEY DELIVER. I asked for Jerry Beans Man. I received Jerry Beans Man. I was very impressed with the barista's skills - and willingness to take my request. Definitely go here! It's a super lovely and cute cafe. read more

Super cute cafe! Came here for the cute chocolate designs on their drinks and I was not disappointed! I also grabbed a chocolate hazelnut muffin and it was delicious! Not too sweet and not dry at all. Overall such a cute place to stop in and grab coffee! read more

Beanhive is a great little hole in the wall spot in Dublin. It had a really cute casual millennial type vibe. There was limited seating both inside and out which was a bit of a downside for anyone looking to sit down to enjoy breakfast. Luckily we got a seat though and we each ordered an Irish breakfast and coffees. The coffees were so cute! I'd easily give them 5/5 stars if I were just rating those. And kudos to the staff for being quick with making them. The Irish breakfast was very good but didn't come with black pudding which was a bummer. Overall, great experience! I'd definitely go back. read more

Brunch was the main topic. As soon we got into the city, I wanted a warm coffee or latte, but not a basic one, because I was feeling for a fancy one. I saw they offer food too so I was sold. . First thing first. Which drinks have latte art and can we request anything. The answer is yes, and drinks that are foamy such as mocha or cappuccino. . I requested an ireland and dublin latte art. . When the drinks came to the table, we were mind blown. It was fancy and so pretty to drink. Yes, the cappuccino and mocha was good too. Well recommend to come here and give it a try. . We looked at the menu and they have bowls, wrap, or salad. They even offer porridge too! We both chose wrap because we wanted something light. . We got the avocado wrap with 2 eggs inside. As well the roasted sweet potato wrap with red cabbage. The wraps were both presented really good. The tortilla was piping hot. The ingredients inside the wrap was so fresh and tasty. The wraps are so simple, fresh, and satisfying. . Overall we had to sit outside because inside was filled. Sitting outside with the cold weather with a big scarf and heavy jacket and sipping on a hot drink is so relaxing. The prices are worth it too. I had a great experience and will be back for this if I'm in the city again. Love love this spot! read more
