There was a small line greeting us, but the drink makers are efficient, and we had our juice within a couple of minutes. Traditional Sugarcane Juice ($6.55) - Fresh squeezed and strained right in front of us, this juice tastes just like how it does in Southeast Asia. It's vegetal, it's grassy, it's really sweet, just how I like it on a hot and humid summer day (which technically wasn't the case here, but no matter). I've tried a couple of other sugarcane juice shops in the US in the last couple of years and this one tastes by far the most similar to my trips to Malaysia and Singapore. It's completely unadulterated; it can't get more fresh than this. One thing I especially love about this place - they don't dilute the drink with tons of ice. There's just enough to cool the drink and a bit more to keep it cool for another 15 minutes or so. It's a far cry from most other places that pack the cup with ice to the brim. Even after all the ice had melted, it was still sweet and refreshing! Natalie's is a great place to pick up a cold drink. If I'm craving sugarcane, this is where I'll head to in the future.

The environment: This is possibly the cutest building I've been in in a long time. The decor, the layout... all of it is fire. I love the plants they have at the tables and around the building!! The menu was also incredibly easy to read and understand. There are kiosks to order at and they have photos of each menu item (which was great because I originally wasn't sure what bingsoo was). There are plenty of tables, chairs, and room. There's only one single stall bathroom, however. Final thoughts: I really loved the bingsoo, it was delicious. I would love to come back for that cheesecake I saw in the display case... However, it is spendy so if I do indulge myself, it will definitely have to be only a rare treat.
