I actually stopped by Paris Baguette because I needed a baguette, and their baguette was pretty solid. It wasn't too hard on the outside but was nice and soft on the inside. They also have a good selection of bakery and dessert items. I got a cream-filled croissant doughnut, and that was actually pretty good. The vibes and aesthetics make you feel like you're in Paris, especially with the French-style chairs, which was pretty cool. Absolutely the worst, most pathetic baguettes I've ever tasted. Totally awful, absolutely nothing like a true French baguette should be.

This was truly a terrible purchasing experience. On the afternoon of May 3rd, my friend and I went to the Paris Baguette at Southcenter with his three-year-old child to buy some bread. Among the items we bought was a cheese and beef sandwich. We put it in the fridge when we got home, and the next morning, when I wanted to heat it up for breakfast, I found that the entire sandwich had turned sour. At first, I thought it was just the taste of the cheese, but when I opened the bread, a strong sour smell hit me. Worse, I had already taken a bite. Then I remembered that my friend, his three-year-old, and I had all eaten products from Paris Baguette the day before, and I got really worried. So I drove back to the store. When I arrived, a female employee greeted me. I calmly explained that I had bought a spoiled sandwich. She immediately offered to refund me. I provided my purchase receipt and the last four digits of my bank card, and asked if I could get a cash refund. She said no -- that it was company policy -- and repeatedly asked for the last four digits of my card and what time I had made the purchase. After being asked three or four times, I started to get a bit annoyed. Then a male employee took over and handled the rest, and the refund went through successfully. I believe that providing fresh ingredients is a basic principle of any food business. As a chain brand, Paris Baguette prices its products higher than non‑branded bakeries. So why are customers willing to pay more? Because a brand gives people trust -- just like how supermarkets operate by vetting products for their customers. As an established bakery brand, I assume most of your products are made in a central kitchen, with quality monitored by both systems and staff. Clearly, this was a lapse. I heard that we got a Paris Baguette which was exciting as I haven't been to one since my trip to New York or when my mom would bring a roll cake from the LA store whenever she visited LA. The store is lovely and huge with plenty of seating and room to wander their baked goods/cake slices. I also wasn't aware they made drinks so my boyfriend got the milk and cereal frappe but I think the barista put too much ice into it as it was tasted like icy cereal milk. We would've talked to the barista named Thyanna T but she was very rude as we were trying to redeem their offer of having a free baked good if you make a purchase, but we were doing a separate order. It's not our fault the company you work for has it advertising that offer throughout the store that we wanted to take advantage of it. The mochi donuts were chewy, soft and delicious. My friends got the chocolate ganache cake slice and strawberry cream cake and they were so soft and fluffy. I ordered a mini strawberry soft cream cake for a family member's birthday from the Paris Baguette location in Tukwila. This is not the first time I've ordered this particular cake, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed this time. When we cut into the cake, I immediately noticed that there was very little cake and an excessive amount of cream. After taking my first bite, I also noticed that the cake was extremely mushy, likely because the cream and strawberry juices had soaked into it. Overall, I was very disappointed with the quality of the cake, especially because Paris Baguette used to be one of my favorite bakeries. This review is one for the cakes. The pastries are a little too expensive for me. This is where I usually go to buy cakes for family events. I bought the tiramisu and the red velvet cake and it's pretty good. It's not dry and not too sweet. Good dessert for the family to try. The service is a hit or miss, sometimes they give you the plastic knife to cut the cake with the candle and sometimes they don't. Baked good was fine at this store so I didn't give it a one star, but the price and customer service are questionable. I visited on 6/6 National Donut Day for the free mochi donut (in the app), which was sold out (expected) and they told me they are not making more for the rest of the day. I got a curry croquette, which says $4.49 on the label. And I noticed on my receipt that it said $4.99. When I asked the cashier, the first one said he doesn't know, and a second cashier came and told me that they just changed the price today because of the promo (?), but neglected to change the labels. And when I asked about price match, he just said he will tell the manager to change the labels and walked away. I waited for a few minutes, but neither the cashier nor the manager came to speak with me. First of, I hope they are not changing the price temporarily just for the promo. Second, the way the situation is handled is awkward and disappointing. I would at least expect the manager to come out and explain the situation. Wanted some dessert after ramen and thought a slice of cake would suffice! For pieces around $7.75 for a decent slice or $8ish for a taller slice (depends on the type of cake), its not bad. Been waiting a while to try the pastries here and it did not disappoint. My favorite was the biscoff doughnut, it was absolutely delicious I did get a few croissant doughnuts with custard filling in them, it was good and not too sweet so that was a surprise. I had some of the pastries here for my birthday last year, but haven't actually stepped foot in this place till now. It's very spacious with tons of seating, and very brightly lit inside, though I came here at around 7:40pm on a Friday night so all the pastry shelves were already empty for the day; only the pretty cakes near the counter remained. I wanted specifically to try some of their drinks since my friend also had one here, so I got the lavender matcha frappe. The frappe was decent at best; the drink was big in size despite being a medium, and was appropriately sweet. It wasn't overly sweet like vanilla, and had a hint of lavender taste and aroma in it as advertised. I did wish I was able to pair it with a pastry to make it more complete but that will be for another time when I come here earlier. A new bakery has opened in Tukwila! It is a French-inspired bakery café with South Korean roots. There is a location up north in Lynnwood, but I didn't want to make the drive up there, so I was glad one opened a little more south of Seattle. I would compare this bakery to 85°C Bakery Café since it has a similar feel, and concept. It was Friday evening when I stepped in, so the shelves weren't too filled with pastries since they were going to close in an hour. Nonetheless, I did grab a few goodies. I grabbed the Mr. Bear (Choclate Madeleine Cookie) and Ms. Bear (Vanilla Madeleine Cookie) as soon as I spotted them, solely because of how cute it was! I grabbed two croissants as well, strawberry cream and chocolate almond. The four items totaled out to be almost $20, so I would say it's a bit pricey in comparison to 85°C Bakery Café.
