Visited this nearby farm with family and friends. It's a short drive from where I live. Had a pretty good space for parking. It had different sections for kids to enjoy around. The farm had pig race, maze walk, tractor pull, sheep herding. They also had lemonade stands, funnel cakes, hot chocolates, coffee. Had a good time and definitely kids loved it. read more

The lady at the horse riding was extremely rude and would not let my little brother & cousin ride even though they are well under the weight cap and are CHILDREN. she had the worst attitude and said they "didn't look like kids" so they couldn't ride. read more

A neat little local venue that's great for smaller kids. There are two corn mazes: one for adults who want a challenge and a small one for the little ones. There is a small selection of food items, events (pig races & sheep herding), and merchandise (pumpkins, flowers). So thrilled to have this back in the area!! It's a little pricey just to get in, but the location if you're local makes it worth it. It's really cute. Nice swings to sit on, cornhole, decently priced pumpkins. The frozen lemonade seems to be something they haven't figured out yet. Definitely wasn't frozen aaaattt all. The corn maze was fun and tricky!! They run out of maps often. Would make more sense to give a QR code or something so people could just grab it on their phones on the way in. It was my understanding that Cagle's was closed down, but it seems that they just moved locations. I'm a little less heartbroken then, but still sad. I had been going to last location since I was a child. And my boyfriend and I even made their corn maze a Fall tradition since we started dating in 2013. It seems on their website that they no longer have a corn maze. It's so sad that the neighborhood boom in our area is driving away so many fun local businesses. read more

The staff is very friendly but the prices not so much. Ten doll hairs a person for the corn maze I mean really? I understand they need to make their money where they can but ouch! We didn't wanna spend the near 30+ a person for the everything pass. This isn't six flags or stone mountain. Other than the high prices the product here is great. They do take pride in their farm and it shows. We will come back every year because of this. I just wish the price's were more appropriate for a Friday date night. read more

A few coworkers and I came here on a sunny September Saturday afternoon to partake in the corn-mazing. This location is a bit difficult to find but is not too far north from 285. There is a pretty large parking lot that is not paved - I imaging it might be a bit difficult to navigate during rainy weather. There is a corn maze, it's on the smaller side per my coworkers (this was my first foray into corn mazing so I had nothing to compare it to), and there are two different paths, one for kids and the longer one for everyone else. There are trivia plaques at various crossroads to help you find your way. On the rest of the farm there are 'vittles' (fresh funnel cake, nuts, baked goods, drinks, frozen lemonade etc). There is also a goat walk (with babies!) and a giant moon bounce (also a smaller one for smaller children). There were quite a lot of children of different ages at the farm that Saturday afternoon. I believe there is also a hay ride and haunted house during October but we didn't partake in those activities. read more

Cagle's has moved to Ball Ground where they are hosting weddings now. Let me tell you....Ben and Vicki are some of the nicest, most down to earth people you will ever meet. We went to go see the venue and immediately I felt at home. The new place is beautiful, and I couldn't have prayed for a better venue. They both are attentive to details. My wedding is coming up in April 2018, and I have had a million questions during the planning process for Vicki. Each time I have reached out to her, she has responded very quickly and always eager to answer any question I have. Being able to easily get in touch with the owners was a big deal to me, and these two have been very accommodating and so easy to communicate with. I am thrilled to host our wedding at Ben & Vicki's venue. I will certainly recommend this venue any chance I get. Ben and Vicki, thank you both for all you have done for us. Came here on a friend's suggestion for their corn maze and pumpkin patch. I should probably preface all I'm about to say by stating that none of us have kids, and this isn't normally something I would do, if left to my own devices. All that being said, this place can only be categorized as a waste of time. We luckily bought corn maze tickets for half price at half off depot, so the sting wasn't as bad as it could have been. To start, their pumpkin 'patch' was nothing more than a holding area for a bunch of pumpkins. I think most of us were expecting an actual pumpkin patch, where they were being grown. Instead we got a slightly larger, and way lots more expensive, display that wasn't different from the grocery store. To me, the worst part of it was how much they charged. One of our other friends bought a large pumpkin at Walmart for $3. Here, for an equivalent sized pumpkin was $10. That's quite the markup -- isn't stuff supposed to be cheaper on the farm? The corn maze also kind of sucked. The corn was yellow and dried and looked dead. A lot of the corn was broken or trampled on .... all in all, it was not very well maintained. The maze itself also wasn't all that big -- I think we were in and out in about 20 minutes. The final complain was their food. It was way, WAY overpriced (but to be expected I guess) ... but my main complaint was that they just didn't have much of it. And they were sold out of a lot of it! For as many people as they had visiting, I was quite surprised at the lack of food options provided. It could be fun if you have kids, I guess ... but I don't think I'd take them here. read more

This used to be a fully-functional dairy farm but now the family farm is more touristy with opportunities for fun and learning about the animals there. I went with a group for a farm tour and had a blast with my toddler. Activities included: 1) Hay ride 2) Pig Races 3) Cow milking demo 4) Herding demo 5) Goat feeding 6) Petting/feeding area for more animals 7) Corn maze (which wasn't included on day we arrived...not sure why...maybe they didn't have the staff?) 8) We also got to pick a mini pumpkin on our way out of the farm My 18-month old has been really into animals lately so this was right up her alley. There was also a play area by some picnic tables where she played before we left. It included air-filled "pillows" where kids could jump and a sandbox not filled with sand, but corn, which was so neat. read more

I had higher expectations then I should have based on some well shot photos. This place sits on property surrounded by neighborhoods, location is bad. Gravel everywhere made it hard to push a stroller. Food was not good. Music was blaring loud. If you are looking for a photogenic pumpkin patch, this place is NOT it, as the pumpkins are arranged on gravel by the parking lot. This place costs $10-15 to just get in, per person. DO NOT GO HERE. Three of my friends and I went to Uncle Shucks corn maze last year and had a blast!!! We wanted to do it again this year. We found coupons for Cagle's on Half off Depot and decided to give this one a try. Well, we should have went back to Uncle Shucks. We bought a $10 voucher on half off depot for the corn maze and they would not let us use it as a voucher. They could have easily made another $40 off of us but they wouldn't let us use the voucher for anything but just the corn maze (tho there is not where in the fine print saying it was only good for the corn maze). There loss. So....we got our wrist bands and went into the farm and wow it was pathetic. It appears that they just used the same corn as last year. The corn was all brown and wilted and very obviously not taken care of. I would be surprised if it lasts threw Halloween. Then there was the pumpkin patch... it was just pathetic. There might have been 20 pumpkins total and none of them looked very nice. My suggestion... go to Uncle Shucks. Its so much better! read more

My mom and I took my toddler to have fall farm fun on Sunday. We had a blast! We bought the farm tour and hayride ticket. Our favorites were the jumpy pillow and the pig races! We will definitely be back next year. The animals looked well taken care of, which I really appreciate. read more

Cagle's Dairy is a must-see in Georgia. Open from late Spring until late Fall, they offer farm and dairy tours that is guaranteed to put a smile on anyone's face. The $7 tour begins with a baby cows petting zoo. These calves are born in the farm and may be as young as a month old. You then proceed to where the cows get bathed, and an actual demonstration of how they milk their cows. Afterwards, you go inside the dairy where they will show you how milk is processed. Due to FDA regulation, they cannot show actual milk processing but they do have a replica of the processing plant where you can see how raw milk becomes drinking milk. After the dairy tour, each participant gets free milk. The next part of the tour is going for a hayride where they will take you around the farm. You will see where the mommy cows are housed. A few minutes ride and you will see more cows in the field. You can actually pet them. A brief stop to watch a pig race then off to pet some goats. There is a country market where you can buy fresh milk, butter, jams, and cheese. During the fall, they have a giant maze and a mini carnival that you can add to your tour for an additional $10. They also have a pumpkin patch. read more

Great little farm to visit in the fall. Concessions are a bit overpriced and since you aren't allowed to bring in outside food or drinks, you are pretty much at their mercy and overpricing. There were long lines to the concessions with only 1 window open. They could have opened another window to relieve the Sunday line. There are lots of rooms for kids to run and play but only a handful of things for them to do outside of the hayride. The hayride seems to be more commercialized with much larger flat bed to accommodate larger groups. Four years ago, the hayride was more intimate. Nonetheless the hayride was still enjoyable, but I did notice that others on the hayride felt like they were being herded around like cattle...for lack of a better term. Lots of restrooms, but only 1/3 of them were open at the time, creating lines of 15+ people deep at times. Don't know why they didn't have more restrooms open. At least the stall I went in was clean. read more

My friends and I took our kids for a playdate and just for a good time. it was okay because the kids had fun spending time together but for the price, it could have been better. One thing that I liked was they had the characters from Beauty and the Beast walking around greeting the children. They were able to interact with them to enhance their experience. The hay ride could have been eliminated because it was poorly put together and lasted all but 15 minutes. They had a corn maze that was cool because you had to know the answers to the posted questions to get you out. We all enjoyed that and it made us realize how little we knew. Lol! Concessions were available. They were very cheap and a good variety. It was WAYYYYYYYYYY better than Pettit Farms in Cartersville. The group of friends I was with said the pumpkin patch they went to last year was much better and coming from Boston, I must admit my expectations are very high. read more

Visiting family in Woodstock, GA from Charlotte, NC and they suggested we all go here today and we did. We did the hay ride tour of the farm and walked the facilities as well. Great family time and our 5 year old loved it. So nice to see farms being used for education purposes. Not enough people realize the hard work that goes into what is on your table! Took the grandkids for an afternoon of Fall fun. The corn maze was very fun, with trivia clues for hints on directions. The questions were fun and thoughtful. You can't get lost, because if you pick the wrong way, it leads you back to the clue. Very cute. The hayride would have been really fun, except the ticket taking and boarding were very disorganized. We were told the next one would be in 15 minutes. She told us to go do another activity and come back later. We did that, but were then told that it would be another 15 minutes. Then she starting taking tickets from people who had just arrived, with no regard for people who had been waiting. But, other than that, we had a good time. I thought the ticket prices were a bit high for what we got, but it was a family fun adventure. read more

Was so excited to take my family to this working dairy farm. Had heard you get to tour the dairy and sample chocolate milk. We were very excited about that part ! The petting zoo was nice for our daughter. We then started our tour for the dairy farm which we paid for tickets. To only find out the dairy farm had closed last year due to bad economy. What a huge DISAPPOINTMENT! There was nothing about the closing of the dairy on there website when I checked it out prior to our visit ! They take you around and tell you how everything use to work. Yes we had good family time. But it was closed no actual miking of the cow as promised with our ticket purchase. And no chocolate milk all the kids were disappointed. What a let down! read more

Such a cute family farm! I love supporting small business and really liked that it was run by the Cagle family. We had a horrible experience with a farm in Ellijay so we were nervous to spend money on another one. But we loved it! My son is a toddler and he had a great time in the smaller play area, there was a hay ride and farm tour we went home. My only complaint? The fall season ended on November 15 so we weren't able to make it for the bonfire nights. But we will definitely be back! read more
