Matcha that was not made properly
    Maddy B.

The worst matcha ever the grounds were still visible in the drink, tasted like old milk, and was just not good. Disappointed because it's such a cute place with a great location. Person who made seemed irritated so maybe it was just a bad day??? Anyways, it was the worst ever, so sad.

I've been meaning to try Cahoots Cafe and am glad I finally got the chance to do so today! My friend and I stopped by after a light lunch this afternoon. The interior is very spacious and clean, but there's not a lot of seating. That might actually be a good thing now since omicron and other nasty COVID variants are on the loose. In order to sit in, we had to verify our vaccination status with our barista. I'm really glad that Cahoots is taking these safety precautions! The barista was very funny and quirky, which made my friend and I laugh a lot while ordering. He definitely gave us good recommendations based on our drink preferences. We really enjoyed talking to him, and this was a huge plus for me. I got the cafe miel latte (honey & cinnamon) with oat milk. For the most part, I enjoyed this drink. It's a bit too sweet for me (not a huge sweet tooth), but honey is OK so it's whatever. I would prefer the flavor of cinnamon to be more obvious (so maybe more cinnamon and less honey?) but overall, it was great with the oat milk. I don't think I could really taste the espresso, but I mean, that's kind of what you expect in a flavored latte. Next time, I'll definitely give their black coffee or more espresso heavy drinks (like a cortado) a try. They use RoosRoast beans here, so you know it's gonna be good quality coffee! Great vibes, funny and friendly baristas, and good coffee. I'd highly recommend giving this place a try! There's also cute drawings on the windows.

    Cozy place with a fireplace

Just discovered this nice cafe and coworking space downtown. The interior is open and airy, but also cozy with seating by a fireplace. The working space looks nice. I had the 5-spice Latte and it was a nice blend of spices without being too hot. I would definitely come back.

    10 oz. Brown Bear Latte

Impressed by my first visit to this cozy little cafe. The Brown Bear Latte (maple syrup & brown sugar) was a new seasonal special so I decided to give it a try. Delicious, and not too sweet! Atmosphere is quiet and cozy for getting some light work done. If you ask for your drink "for here", they ask to see your vaccine card which made me feel safe to sit and enjoy.

An iced vanilla oat milk latte from Cahoots Café - the bright spot in an otherwise dreary morning.

Well, the reviews don't disappoint! I stopped by Cahoots Café for the first time today - and walked away with the best iced latte I've had in Ann Arbor in a long time. The shop itself is super cute - with an aesthetic that's clean and modern, a weekend pop-up for those who are looking for some tasty treats, friendly baristas, and a few small tables set up outside. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the specials board until after I ordered, but I love that 20% of sales for their pride latte will be donated to Ozone House through the month of June. All in all, it was definitely worth the drive in from Dexter - and I'll be back soon to grab one of those pride lattes!

Nice cafe/coffee spot with a cool indoor area with plenty of seating and eclectic decor. The menu had plenty of hot and cold beverages from tea to coffee based drinks. I had the cold brew coffee and it was strong and flavorful. The location is about a block from where the farmers market is on Saturdays which makes it convenient. I will definitely go back and try more menu items!!

First of all, I am obsessed with the aesthetic ambience in this cafe, such a vibe. They have a pretty big variety of drinks and treats on their menu. I tried their seasonal brown sugar m salt latte and it was delicious! Very smooth and creamy flavor. I will definitely be back to try more drinks! i'm sure the lavender latte is incredible as well. The only tricky part was finding quick parking because it is off a busier road but definitely only a short walk from liberty st. Would love to come back and sit in here.

First time at Cahoots and I ordered the Brown Bear Latte (brown sugar, maple syrup). Good latte with balanced sweetness.

Worst latte I've had in Ann Arbor, very disappointed. There are better options in the area.

Excellent coffee, pleasant ambiance and staff. Nice little touché to boot, like a few books and an umbrella stand.

I might actually buy coffee and tea as holiday gifts for my coworkers. The reason for the 4 star instead of 5 is because the women's bathroom was not clean, customer service can be improved, and some music can really make the cafe more inviting. I made coupe of orders, one included dessert. I was handed the cake with no fork, had to ask for one. Wasn't given napkins and didn't bother asking. I might sound petty, but honestly the product can be great. However, customer service is what brings customers back. There needs to be proper training. If I'm going to spend money and do everything myself and ask for everything that should be the basic/ standard, then I might as well make my coffee at home. It terms of music, I think it would amplify the space. When I stopped by the cafe, I was the only one in the main space and it was dead silent and all I can hear is the buzzing of the cooler that had the water and pop/ drinks. Some light music in the background would've blocked that noise. I only share this because I would love to see this business thrive.

I like Drip House. I'm happy it's here. However, I don't know if I would be coming much if there…read morewas another coffee shop within a short walking distance. The main thing Drip House has going for it is that it is effectively the only coffee spot to sit and study or meet someone right by the stadium (where a bunch of us live and/or work). It is also open into the early evening when a lot of other coffee spots aren't. And we do love an outside seating option. The service has always been just fine and it's a pretty cute spot (not to sound ridiculously nit-picky but while we're here--someone might wanna sheer some of the many dead leaves off the beautiful plant inside though). Also, the banana oat latte they had as a special a couple months ago was delicious. So yummy. Some things I don't love about Drip House: the blue chairs. So uncomfortable. It is expensive and, dare I say, overpriced. The first time I got my $14 piece of ricotta toast, it was delicious. And I figured, fine. It's $14 for a piece of bread with a little cheese and jam but it's so yummy, I'll splurge every once in a while and go with it. Plus, I can't eat tree nuts, so it is one of the few options for me. However, the second time I got it, it was most definitely not worth it. The "whipped" ricotta was just a sad, thin wet layer and there was practically no jam. I get it. It's expensive out here. We're living in the shadows of the avocado toast economy where espresso drinks cost minimum $7 and you effectively can't buy anything for less than $4. But just because you feel like you *can* doesn't mean you *should.* Paying $14 for a piece of bread.... Come on. It's insulting. It feels exploitative. Will i be going back? Yes, because of the proximity and sometimes a girl needs to go for a cute little walk to get a coffee--just to feel something. Would I if there was a competing coffee shop nearby? That remains to be seen. Also the size of the "large" iced drink. Come on guys.
