Brisket and cheddar sandwich ($16.95): this brisket is exactly how it should be, as it was seasoned, tender, and requires only a little effort to chew since it was tender. The caramelized onions and gooey cheese went well with the brisket and the buttered toast, 5/5 stars! Large size of mac and cheese: one of the best I've had, as it was indulgent! The creamy cheese sauce was seasoned and just completely covered the tender macaroni, 5/5 stars! The service was efficient as you order at the counter and they provide your food in a timely manner, despite the constant arrival of patrons. I've noticed that the majority of orders were for take-out, but I had to dive into the food stat as soon as it was ready out of the kitchen.

They're both seasoned with a thick rub that packs serious flavor. The meat is incredibly tender and soft--just melts in your mouth. It's definitely on the pricier side, but the quality makes it worth it. Sides like the mac n cheese and baked beans were just okay--not bad, but nothing special. However, the Oreo dessert waffle totally stole the show. It was absolutely amazing and the perfect sweet finish. Highly recommend for BBQ lovers who appreciate bold flavor and tender meats.

We said, we'll see if it's the best. WOW, just wow! This spot is 100% the best BBQ joint I've had in a long time. My brother who is a graduate of the Cordon Blu Culinary Academy and is an avid diner of fine foods and our resident sour face. But he said the giant beef bbq rib he ordered was the BEST he's ever had. And that is high praise since he knit pics everything. He said he was almost in tears, it was that good. The star for me was the pork bbq sliders with the Sweet tooth sauce. 10 out of 10. We also received A+ Customer Service from Reagan. She was super attentive and kept checking on us at every turn. She was extremely helpful when helping us with ordering our food and her pleasant demeanor and bright smile were also a reason that we had such a pleasant dining experience. Whenever we are in town to visit mom, we will 100% be coming back to Cornerstone BBQ.

But honestly, if it's not sloppy, are you even really enjoying it? Literally, no notes.

Inside was cool and a nice escape from the heat. They have 2 bathrooms inside that was small but clean. I got the steak and rib combo with Mac&Cheese and beans. It came with honey butter and corn bread. The honey butter was so good and paired perfectly with the corn bread. Onto the steak and rib combo. I think the steak was good but the ribs was not my cup of tea. I felt the ribs were dry. But speaking of tea the sweet tea was honestly the star of the meal. So refreshing and in my opinion perfectly sweet! Plus for the unlimited refills!

Unfortunately I didn't read the menu correctly because you only get the muffins if you order something like a steak or ribs. So take note! If I knew that i would've ordered them on the side because I did want to try them. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and the brisket sandwich. I felt like the pulled pork sandwich could be hotter (temperature) but the flavor was decent and I enjoyed it. The brisket sandwich was a lot warmer and was also very good, if there ever is a next time I would go with the brisket sandwich again. Had a side of fries and a side of potato salad which I actually didn't try but it was a decent portion. The fries honestly weren't good at all but having them with ranch helps a lot. Lastly we also had their homemade cheesecake, my boyfriend wasn't a fan but I don't think it was that bad. One slice is more than enough for two! Please also keep in mind that they charge a dollar for every side of ranch that you get, we were okay with it because we thought the sides would be larger but they are just a regular tiny size! Service was alright. When picking up I noticed customers would rather sit outside than inside. But when walking into the restaurant to pick up It looked nice and clean.

There was also plenty of parking and several seating options inside. We decided to order a little bit of everything so we could try as much of the menu as possible. We had the brisket, brisket burnt ends, rib tips, several sides, and both desserts. The brisket burnt ends were definitely my favorite. They were smoky, tender, and full of flavor. The brisket had a beautiful bark and was cooked perfectly, and the rib tips were just as good. I was honestly just as impressed with the sides. My favorites were the spicy mac and cheese and the potato salad. The potato salad was creamy and was the perfect thing to cool your mouth after eating the steamed jalapeños. The coleslaw and green beans were also really refreshing and balanced out all the rich barbecue. The biggest surprise for me was the sweet yams. It was so flavorful that it tasted like it had been slow-cooked in brown sugar and spices for hours. For dessert, I tried both the banana pudding and the peach cobbler. The banana pudding was the winner for me, but I also liked that the peach cobbler wasn't overly sweet. Even the cornbread was delicious. I ended up pairing it with the barbecue baked beans and was a great combo. Our total came to about $110 before tax and tip, but we ordered enough food to try a wide variety of meats, sides, and desserts, so I thought it was well worth it. Overall, there wasn't a single thing we ordered that I wouldn't get again. If you're looking for great Texas-style barbecue in the Inland Empire, I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try. I'll definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu.
