Jack's BBQ is hands down one of the best places to eat in Lake Elsinore! Not only is the food incredible, but the lake views are absolutely amazing and make for the perfect dining atmosphere. Everything we ordered was delicious. The Watermelonrita was refreshing and packed with flavor, definitely a must-try! For dessert, we had the peach crumble, and it was absolutely incredible; warm, sweet, and the perfect way to end the meal. I ordered the Fried Mac N Cheese Wagyu Burger, and wow... it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. The wagyu beef was juicy and flavorful, and the fried mac and cheese took it over the top. Separate from any other aspect of service or food or ambiance. The parking lot opens up to a lower deck dining area that I mistakenly thought was an ordering area with a gorgeous view of the lake. I went and sat in this area. After a short conversation A very kind man called the restaurant asking about accommodating me and was told that I would still need to walk up to the restaurant. I have very bad diabetic neuropathy and lately I've experienced a lot of pain because of it. That's not the restaurant's fault or responsibility but under the circumstances it would have been nice to have them come out to me. This is not an unreasonable expectation. It would have been a delightful bonus for them to accommodate my severe neuropathy. I'll review the upstairs experience in a few days. Update 5/24/26 1113 am. The food is phenomenal. Really shows the love put into the recipe and the length of smoking. It was constantly busy and I was seated by the waitress station hub. I saw my waitress maybe twice. My feedback. First of all let me tell you about Rachel Our waitress, she did not miss a beat. We stopped to grab lunch and found this place restaurant right by the lake. We didn't expect much, but to our surprise it was the best decision to eat here. First we had a great seat, then came Rachel to take our order. She was all smiles with a great attitude, she even told us to order pretty quick since it was busy and it would Take a bit to get our food. The food was absolutely delicious. The service provided by Rachael was outstanding. She was professional, very attentive, and friendly. She took care of our every needs. The restaurant was clean and the people dining were nice and it sits right in front of Lake Elsinore and although we didn't get a window table we were still able to enjoy the view. The meat relied heavily on sauce for flavor and lacked that marinated, well-seasoned taste you expect from good BBQ. That said, the sides were a pleasant surprise. I heard about Jacks BBQ on Lake Elsinore so tried it with some family members. It's right on the lake with large windows so a good view at any table. It's rustic and casual. We had lunch around 1:30 so was able to get a table by the window. I ordered the French Dip with Au Jus. I had a choice of Tri tip or brisket, I got the Tri tip, sides are extra. I wish the Au Jus had more flavor but was still good and filling. The other dishes that was ordered was fish and chips and the Monster Burger. The people liked their meal. It came with 2 full racks of ribs, fries and 4 sides which were beans, mac n cheese, potato salad and coleslaw. The beef ribs and pork ribs were delicious. Their barbecue sauce hit the spot! I mixed original and hot together and thats what I loved most. The atmosphere is really nice. You can see the entire lake with their tall open windows. The service was top notch.
