Chads Lakeside kitchen is starting to get its ball rolling on finding its voice in food. We went for a Karaoke night and I love that they are doing this. The do not yet have their alcohol license but they are getting it soon in case you need some liquid courage to get up there. The service was great and ever host did there best to be accommodating and bringing things out promptly. Our server forgot to bring us a few things we asked for but after a few times we got the ranch and sides we wanted. The food was good but just missing some the flavors you would hope to get. My wife for a pasta that was supposed to have tomatoes in it and she did not say anything to me right away but they did not add them. So you missed out on a lot of the flavors. There was just a lot of pasta and it took up the sauce so the savory flavor you would usually get was missing. I had the fish and chips and unfortunately the fry on them was like they had sat for a while.. you did not get that dress crisp on the fry so they were ok. The fires were good, my mother in law got a burrito and she loved it so that was a good turning point. Over all they have a good menu, the food just needs refining and better timing. It's a great little spot and they are just starting out so I'd give it a shot as they find their balance. read more

The first time I went to Chad's I had the beef dip which was pretty good. But recently, I went there for lunch and tried the Ortega chicken melt, and it was extremely dry to the point where it was hard to swallow that is how dry it was. I ate a bit of it because I felt like the amount of money I was spending I should at least try to eat the onion rings, but at that point, I lost my appetite. I quietly told the waiter, at that point my friend noticed he discussed it with the owner who is also the chef. Nothing was done or said to me. I felt the owner/chef should've come out or I should've got a discount or something he could have offered to re-cook the meat properly so I could take it home. Much of the food tastes like it's out of a can, or the meat is just frozen cooked, not fresh as I heard from my friends that I was with the first time. I had high hopes for the food quality at Chad's since I read his history on his website. The worst thing I think an owner or chef would do is ignore the customer when clearly you could tell the food was bad. To me that is not good business! Of course people make mistakes or they overcook or undercook, but to ignore a paying customers concerns is beyond wrong! At this point, I probably won't be back. I might add when we arrive there was no one in the restaurant. So a little tip to the owner, take care of your customers I wasn't complaining for free. I love supporting local businesses and I felt that might've helped. I even had my friend try it and asked her how she felt about the chicken and she said it was extremely dry as well. read more

We had an amazing lunch here. The star was the steak bites, which sounded like they would just be OK just pieces of steak on smashed potatoes, but the steak had an incredible char on it with a spiky garlic chimichurri sauce and the mashed potatoes were also amazing, they had the right balance of acid and fat so you could eat them all day. The pasta I had was similarly well balanced because a lot of times a sauce like this will be too heavily butter or creamy but this had a good hit of acid that made it really delicious. My boyfriend had penne with Ragu and added not one but two orders of meatballs and the meatballs were delicious. He said they tasted like his dad's. We also had the Caprese salad also yummy and then we got a slice of cheesecake which I talked my boyfriend into and a piece of tiramisu (also delicious). The only thing I'm mad about is that we are supposed to be sharing these apps, but my boyfriend ate most of the steak bites and he has almost all his pasta leftover for tonight and I don't have anything left over. So obviously I will have to go back. This is def where you want to stop if you're nearby. It is inside an RV park past the gate and there was no guard on duty, and we just parked by the office on the outside so I'm not sure exactly where we were supposed to park. read more

New restaurant just opened inside the California RV Resort. We walked in to take a peek for a friend that lives at Stone Ridge Estates in WS with 300 units and no food within 13 miles. Saw a couple eating a dish and they stated it was delicious. They serve breakfast at 6 am. Lunch-dinner appears to be Italian fusion with other variations. My friend and other senior residents will be happy to have a good restaurant nearby finally! I will update when I bring her out to eat! read more

Food quality unfortunately my wife and I both had spoiled sausage I didn't eat very much of mine but my wife and most of hers and got a stomach ache. Nice people, good pricing, looks like a family business. Service was a little slow but they are just starting out. Because of the problems we had that their food I can't recommend this place at this time. read more

Great little restaurant in a little gated RV park about 2030 minutes past inland Temecula. If they didn't have it on the menu and it was simple enough, they would really try and accommodate and they would just make what you asked for. They are trying to get their liquor license I think for beer and wine. They don't have anything right now, but I'm sure that they will be approved. They're following all the rules. read more

We were taking the scenic route from San Diego and saw a new restaurant had opened in Aguana. We found it was in a clubhouse at Rancho California RV Resort. With a very homey atmosphere reminiscent of a golf club 19th hole, we found the food and service excellent. My wedge salad with grilled shrimp was simple but very well executed. My wife's BLT was perfect- she said the ample serving of bacon was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My favorite thing was the Sweet Heat mocktail. If they put up those tents every weekend I would not go back. A sort of buffet was set up three of us had that for $45 and the other two order off menu. The three of us should've waited caused what we had was not worth the $250 dropped. The problem started choosing to eat outside. The service was so disorganized it was comical and infuriating cause we had six people come to help us. That's more than the party. It was not really full so not really sure why on a Mother's Day Sunday they wouldn't be more prepared. They also don't have so no mimosas on Mom's Day. Not fine dining as advertised. read more

The ambiance here is amazing I loved the view over dinner. It's located in an RV resort but the restaurant is open to the public. Service was friendly, food was decent. I got the Mac and Cheese and buffalo wings which didn't taste fresh unfortunately so I didn't finish them. I also got the steak bites and mashed potatoes with the salsa verde sauce which was better than the other two so I was able to finish that and I actually enjoyed it. The location at the Rancho CA RV Resort is ideal for those living in the area of Aguanga, Anza, Warner Springs or for those near Temecula and want to take a nice ride up the hill. For those traveling to Palm Springs, Idyllwild, or Julian Chad's Lakeside Kitchen is a great stopping point for a nice meal. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinners so there is something for everyone. The seating on the patio overlooks the lake and views of the golf course. Severs were very attentive and they are getting their beer and wine license soon too. I've seen car clubs recently stopping in too so overall, great food, service and views! Give it a try! read more

Pasta with clam sauce, Pizza (thin and foldable) breakfast (largest croissant breakfast sandwich I have ever seen), perfectly poached eggs with fresh hollandaise on the benedict. There aren't many restaurants by Aguanga, so we were excited to see this opening up, especially since we had tried some of the food at wineries. This place is AWESOME! Clam pasta was amazing, as was the saltimbocca and wings. No wine yet, but I'm sure they'll get there. It's also ridiculously cheap. You'd pay twice as much in temecula and it wouldn't be half as good. Service was great, and they have a big TV with a sort of sports bar/19th hole vibe that is welcoming, but the food is soooo much better than a typical place like that. I've eaten here every meal to test it out. My fav is dinner so far with lunch being a close second. Fish and chips night was delicious. Pasta is great and the burgers are tasty. Enjoyed the French toast for breakfast too. Super friendly staff. My parents live here and I come from French Valley to visit so it's nice to have a place to eat.
